【秩父】天空のパワースポット！三峯神社＆秩父グルメを満喫✨40代女日帰りひとり旅｜秩父神社

Tokyo, Ikebukuro Station [Today’s solo trip] Destination is Chichibu in Saitama Prefecture. Departure! Board the Laview Express. 80 minutes from Ikebukuro Station to Seibu Chichibu Station. 1,700 yen breakfast. There are two things I want to do in Chichibu today. 1. Go to Mitsumine Shrine, known as the strongest power spot! 2. Enjoy Chichibu gourmet food in the retro shopping district! Free and easy solo trip, I’m going to enjoy it today too! Arrived at Seibu Chichibu Station. Next, change to a bus. Get on the bus to Mitsumine Shrine. 80 minutes from Seibu Chichibu Station to Mitsumine Shrine. 950 yen. Mitsumine Shrine is located at an altitude of 1,100m. 80 minutes of climbing the mountain path… Arrived in front of Mitsumine Shrine. We’ve arrived! It’s sunny today! I’m so happy! Before visiting the shrine, let’s go eat lunch. I bought a meal ticket at the entrance and went to the terrace. It’s great. Chichibu specialty, Waraji Katsu, 1200 yen. Overflowing! Two extra-large cutlets! I’ll eat a lot! The cutlets are big and heavy! Delicious! The slightly sweet sauce goes well with the cutlet! There are many people sitting around after hiking. The cutlet will be even more delicious after hiking. It’s delicious and very satisfying! Thank you. Now, let’s go to Mitsumine Shrine. Beyond the torii gate, the atmosphere is different. The dignified air makes you stand up straight. The Zuishinmon Gate has an overwhelming presence. We arrived at the worship hall. We quietly worshiped. It is said that if you take a deep breath in front of the sacred tree, you will receive power. I also take a slow, deep breath. Ah, so refreshing. Finally, we went to the “Yohaiden” on the opposite side of the Zuishinmon Gate. The inner shrine of Mitsumine Shrine is apparently about an hour and a half’s walk from here. It seems you can worship from here, so let’s go. The inner shrine is around here. Mystical scenery and a sacred atmosphere. It was very clear why this place is called the “power spot in the sky”. Anyway, let’s go back to the bus stop. I was so excited to go to Mitsumine Shrine. I got a lot of good energy from it. I thought, “Huh? It’s getting cloudy?” But then it started raining heavily. (Thank goodness I was on the bus!) I slept soundly and went home. It wasn’t raining here! I headed to Chichibu Shrine. I heard there was a retro shopping street, so I decided to take a detour. I took a short break at a nice restaurant. Cream soda for 650 yen. Cream soda is the best treat! I’m so happy. I arrived at Chichibu Shrine. There are three famous shrines in Chichibu (Mitsumine Shrine, Chichibu Shrine, and Hodosan Shrine). If I try hard, I can go to all three in one day, but I’ll stop here for today. The gorgeous decorations are really beautiful! I enjoyed it slowly. I’d like to eat something more. Anko butter petit taiyaki, 500 yen. Not “petit” at all! Thick! It was filled with plenty of anko and butter! I’m back at Seibu Chichibu Station. Actually, there’s one more thing I want to try. [Miso Potatoes, a Chichibu specialty] Potato tempura topped with sweet miso, a gourmet dish that represents Chichibu. Satisfied! Delicious! Shall I go buy souvenirs? Chichibu’s mascot “Potekuma-kun”. Most Chichibu souvenirs are about this character. He’s pretty impressive. I bought some. This one for my daughter. This one for my husband. Chichibu mochi! It was so delicious! Yours look delicious too. Shall I buy some? Going home. I’m riding the Laview back home. I’m happy to be riding again. Today was another fun holiday.
