【大阪・関西万博2025】最新!9月末の混雑状況&待ち時間レポ|閉幕前のリアル体験記

Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai
Latest! Crowd & Wait Time Report Hi, it’s Yuy ☺ With only days left before it ends,
I visited the busy Osaka Kansai Expo! Here’s a look at the venue and crowd situation.
Hope it helps your visit ☺ Let’s get started! I took the 8:43 train from JR Osaka Station to Sakurajima 🚊 Direct train to Sakurajima, no transfer at Kujo. So convenient 👍 Arrived at Sakurajima Station 🚆 Sign says: “No restrooms outside the gates.”
Station toilets had long lines 😢 Exit the gates, turn left, and you’ll see the bus stop on your right. There are restrooms near the bus stop entrance too ◎ There was a line for the bus,
but they came quickly so it moved fast 🚍 Waited about 5 minutes to board 🚍 Off we go! Heading to the Expo venue~ The East Gate was packed with people!! The West Gate was crowded too!! I thought the wait would be long, but… Turns out, they were visitors with 10:00 AM reservations. I had a 9 AM reservation, so I got in smoothly! I’m inside! I’ll meet up with my friend at 11,
so until then I’m exploring on my own. First stop, since it wasn’t crowded—
the Yoshimoto “waraii myraii” Pavilion. The exhibits were pretty limited,
so I finished quickly. Near the Belgium and Italy pavilions—packed with people! The wait for the Italy Pavilion was… over 3 hours!! Hmm, where should I go next? At this time, under the Grand Roof Ring,
it wasn’t too crowded yet. A bright red sphere-shaped pavilion!?
It turned out to be Singapore’s Pavilion. The line looked short, so I joined it♪ This sphere is called
the “Dream Sphere.” I got inside after waiting about 15 minutes. Right after entering, a huge screen welcomed us! It instantly pulled me into Singapore’s world. A talking tree and a paper-cut forest—so magical. Here, you write down your dream and let it fly. Going up the spiral slope, I found a dome screen… And my dream appeared on the screen! I hope everyone’s dreams come true♡ At the pavilion exit, there’s a Singapore food café.
It smelled so good♪ Arrived at the Water Plaza.
Still pretty quiet at this time! Even on top of the Grand Roof Ring, hardly anyone was there. Next up, the Angola Pavilion right in front of the Water Plaza. Wait time was 15–30 minutes, so I decided to line up. Angola is about 13,222 km from Japan,
a country in southwestern Africa! I was excited to visit,
but while waiting I snagged another pavilion reservation—so I skipped this one! There’s also a restaurant serving Angolan food.
The rare menu items looked so interesting♪ Until my next reservation, I went to the Czech Pavilion—no wait required. Along the spiral corridor, various artworks were on display. The rooftop is a terrace with an amazing view✨ You can also enjoy Czech beer and food♪ I wanted to try the beer, but had to pass since I had another reservation 😢 10:54 AM ⏱
The venue was getting busier! Next, I headed to the Red Cross & Red Crescent Pavilion,
which I booked for the day. Through the three zones—“Awareness,” “Thinking,” and “Action”—
you experience stories of humanitarian crises and people around the world. 11:35 AM ⏱
When I came out, it was even more crowded! Next stop: the Osaka Healthcare Pavilion. Time for the “Reborn” experience I was so excited about♪ After entering, there was about a 15-minute wait. Finally—into the Body Measurement Pod!! Scan complete. Age 38? Yay♪ Wonder what my future self will look like… Wow, hardly looks like me at all 😢 The Grand Roof Ring was packed—every bench was taken! Even areas that were empty in the morning were now full of people. The Czech Pavilion now had a huge line. So did the Angola Pavilion—
should’ve gone earlier 😢 But benches in front of the Water Plaza were surprisingly open◎ Convenience stores had crazy lines,
with signs saying “No more waiting allowed” 😢 Next, the Netherlands Pavilion—
I booked it three days ago. My reservation was 1:30 PM. I lined up at 1:25,
and got in at 1:50. The Netherlands means Miffy 🐇
You can take photos with her♪ At the entrance, you’re handed an “Energy Orb”◎ Charge the orb with energy, and off you go. As you bring it closer to the exhibits, the orb changes color. Guided by the orb, you learn about the Netherlands’ relationship with water. Touching an exhibit revealed a giant sun. The highlight was the huge dome-shaped screen〇 A quarter of the Netherlands is below sea level. Living with water is the theme. At the climax, the orb glowed purple—
everyone felt connected. Everywhere you look, the venue is packed💦 Finally met up with my friend☺ Time for lunch at last🍽 The Korean restaurant wasn’t too crowded—kind of a hidden gem! I ordered the beef bulgogi bibimbap (¥1,800).
It was delicious♪ 3:40 PM⏱
Came to the Turkmenistan Pavilion—super crowded! Didn’t have the energy to wait hours, so time to head out😢 The evening sky already feels like autumn☺ Headed back through the East Gate. Beyond the gate, I saw long lines of people waiting with night tickets! The night-ticket line stretched pretty far back. 3:59 PM⏱
At this time, Yumesaki Station wasn’t too crowded◎ Brand new and shiny✨
It feels like a station from the future. Trains came one after another,
and surprisingly, I found a seat for the ride back◎ Thanks so much for watching till the end!
