/ OMO7 Asahikawa by Hoshino Resorts
Hello, subscribers and future subscribers! This is Lala. OMO7 Asahikawa by Hoshino Resorts is a 3.5-star hotel located in Asahikawa, Hokkaido. It is about 1km away from Asahikawa Station, which takes about 15 minutes on foot. It is easily accessible by bus from the station, and the bus stop for the zoo is right in front of the hotel, making it popular among Japanese people. If you haven’t subscribed to the Lala Travel Channel yet, please click the subscribe button. Shall we watch together? I’m heading towards Asahikawa Station. Omo7 is within walking distance from Asahikawa Station . If you don’t have a lot of luggage, if you do , you’ll probably have to take a car. I’ve been touring a small town for a few hours now, so it’s really bustling. I can just see all these tall buildings, and people are really mean. I’ve been looking at the fields and fields for a few hours, so Omo7 is that 9-story building over there. You have to go there. You have to go behind the front desk to enter the parking lot, but it’s here. Omo7 Parking , Omo7 Parking. Parking is 700 yen from 8:00 to 18:00 . The number of cars that can be parked is too small for the size of this hotel . So if you arrive late, there are other paid parking lots nearby. You can see right there, there’s the hassle of having to park somewhere else, like at a 24-hour Times. We’re currently in the off-season, and it’s just before 5 p.m., so we thought parking would be fine, so we made a hotel reservation. If you don’t have a car and come by JR train, of course, it’s not a problem. One of the reasons this hotel is popular with Japanese people is because the bus to Asahikawa Zoo stops right in front of the hotel. They say it’s convenient and many people prefer it. The rooms are designed with a variety of fun zoo themes, as you can see on the hotel website, so children love them. Omo7 is the highest of the Omo series, and there are currently two Omo7s in Japan. One of them is in Asahikawa. This is the entry point for taxis and other arrivals. Let’s go inside Omo7. It’s pretty. We made our hotel reservation directly on the Hoshino website. They sent us a QR code , so we scanned it. Everything is fully automated, so check-in is very fast. Parking is 1,000 yen for 24 hours. The hot springs are located on the basement level. The lobby is also very pretty. Other tourists You all look really excited. Why is it that when other people are happy and excited, the people watching feel happy too? Leaving behind the very kind hotel staff, we head to our room. Since there are no amenities in the room, we’re looking for an area with amenities. There is a smoking area, of course. We booked a non-smoking room, and the amenities are right in front of the elevator. We need slippers in the room. These are for children. A toothbrush, a bath towel, a hairbrush, cotton swabs, and a razor for the men . I’ll speak quietly as we come into the hallway. It’s room 709. There’s a closet right next to the entrance . I think it’s open the other way. The light is on. There are two types of slippers: rubber slippers for the hotel and indoor slippers. Let ‘s take a look inside the hotel. The room is spacious and nice. First, what’s that table and drawer? It’s just an empty drawer. You can use it to put on your shoes. The fridge is empty. There are outlets for cups and boiling water. Let’s take a look outside the window. Should I call it a construction site view? Just kidding. Haha, it’s on the 7th floor, but Asahikawa has a lot of buildings, and I’ve been staying in the hot spring town area for a while now, so I ‘m coming to a small town for a few days, and it’s bustling . There are two single beds, and indoor clothes are placed on the bed. It’s a classic hotel, but it’s very cozy. It’s like an old-fashioned type of phone, isn’t it? There are enough outlets on both sides, a radio, a room light, and the bed seems fine, as expected. There’s air conditioning. You can use the controller comfortably. There are no other amenities in the bathroom , but shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are in the room . I think it’s telling you to take this towel and go to the hot springs on the basement level. You can use it to dry your towel , which is common in the US. You can pull it out like this and hang it on the opposite side to dry your towel or something. I didn’t specifically request a handicap room, but I think it’s basically like this. And you always need to bring two small towels to the hot springs : one large towel and one small towel. There’s also a hair dryer. Here’s the room tour of Omo7 . By the way, I ca n’t see the room safe right now . Am I missing it? Is there one? I’ll look a little more. It’s probably near the entrance, but I might have missed it. Yes, I did. There really isn’t one. There’s no room safe. If you have valuables, you can probably leave them in the lobby. Anyway, there’s no room safe. This was the Omo7 twin room. To elaborate on Omo7, we didn’t include breakfast here. To be honest, we have to leave early tomorrow morning. Check-out is usually at 11:00 . There’s also a cafe and bar . I heard the sauna here is nice. It’s hot springs. It’s open from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, and it reopens at 5:00 AM, so it’s open until 9:00 AM. *I misspoke and said 9:00 PM. The men’s and women’s baths are switched . Just go ahead and check in. There are hot springs that switch genders, and there are hot springs that are just the same. It varies by hotel, so you should check that carefully before going. And this one was fun. From 7 PM to 10 PM, they give you two things : champagne and juice for free. And we ‘ll show you a picture of the sauna on the Omo7 website. Anyway, in this picture , there’s deep water that you can walk in, and there’s a sauna. This hat is cute, right? That’s what you ‘re supposed to wear in the sauna, but depending on how hot your hair is, it can actually damage it. So, there are cases where you wear a hat like this before going in. I think they sell them on the first floor. And there are drinks in the sauna . It feels like an amusement park. Overall, the first floor lobby is very modern and pretty. It’s so pretty that it feels like you’re not in a hotel, but in a separate bar. They also have happy hour, and at 500 yen, it’s a good deal. This is the hotel’s specialty, the “Fresh Cream Parfait.” The bear is so cute. The welcome drink is located right next to the check-in desk. Corn tea. Please give me one cup from 3 PM to 10 PM. What is it? A bear? Turn it, turn it. Don’t tear it. Okay , it’s cute . I’ll have to take a quick look around the lobby and then go outside and walk around a bit. It’s pretty here. I took a quick look while checking in, but there’s a cafe space. A map that guides you to the surrounding businesses. Cafes, restaurants, souvenir shops, etc. are neatly organized . The hotel’s service of promoting the local economy stands out. Is it a gacha? What else will come out here ? An animal figure gacha . Isn’t this so cute? Wear this to the sauna. This seems cute. I don’t think I can wear it around. Even if I go to Disneyland… Otherwise, it’s a bit… There’s a neat shop. They even have things like mugs. OMO7 Original Handkerchief Handkerchief. Asahikawa JR Station is about a 15-minute walk from the hotel. After looking around the neighborhood, I came back to the hotel. You can make a potpourri bag for free. This is what they said they’d give you free champagne and drinks in the evening. They say it’s Italian champagne and peach juice. Lime and the cute guys greet you when you get off on the floor leading to the large bath on the basement level. Aren’t they just cute? This space was specifically designed as a photo spot. It’s so pretty, I came down for a moment to show you . The large bath is located here. You walk straight in, and you open it with a card key. It’s clean, and we’ll show you the photos on the website, but that’s fine. However, there’s one thing I really want to tell you . Those of you who have been to Japanese onsen know how hot the water is . Here , there’s a very small hot tub, and it’s not that hot. It’s somewhere between warm and hot. There’s also a large bath that you can walk around in, as shown on the website, but it’s almost lukewarm. I think that’s the concept here. However, if you’re expecting a hot Japanese-style onsen, you might be a little disappointed. Those who don’t like the heat in the summer might actually enjoy it. The walk-around bath isn’t for swimming; you can only walk around in it like you’re doing aqua aerobics . This hotel has a really pretty lobby . Oh, and they even provide free coffee in the morning. I need a cup of coffee to wake up, right? I had a great rest at Omo7. Thank you for staying with me until the end. Have a wonderful day~ Subscriptions and likes are a huge help.
