Today we will be staying at the Burj Al Arab, an iconic 7-star luxury hotel in Dubai. Duplex Club Suite. Afternoon tea at skyview lounge. Hotel facilities such as pools and a gym. A French dinner at a Michelin-starred restaurant. What’s a 7-star hotel breakfast like? A fulfilling boutique. Please enjoy. The Burj Al Arab is located on an artificial island adjacent to Jumeirah Beach. To the hotel gate. Present my hotel reservation email and pass through the gate. Cross the private bridge to the hotel entrance. This hotel opened on December 1, 1999, and is celebrating its 25th anniversary. Officially, it’s a 5-star hotel, but its sheer opulence has earned it a reputation as a 7-star hotel. Apparently, when it first opened in 1999, people were astonished by the luxurious lobby. I sit on a red sofa and check in. Made in France. It says “Osibori Concept.” I remember there being a strange smell before, but this time it smelled nice. Arabic coffee is served. An original coffee cup! I’m also given dates. I arrived at the hotel around 1:00 PM. Check-in time is 4:00 PM and the room is not ready yet. I’ll wait in the lounge upstairs until my room is ready. The lounge is called Sahn Eddar. The Signature Gold Cappuccino, 145 AED (39.5 USD), is popular. It’s a cappuccino garnished with 24-karat gold leaf. It comes with a chocolate dessert. The spoon is also gold-colored and luxurious. A lot of gold leaf! The cappuccino was so luxurious I was a little nervous about drinking it (though it tasted average). My room was ready around 2:00 PM. We will now move to the room. There’s a butler desk on each floor. Each room has a 24-hour butler. The hotel has 202 guest rooms, all of which are suites. Even the smallest suite is 170 square meters (1,829 square feet). This time, I’ll be staying in a larger suite at 330 square meters (3,552 square feet). The room category is “Duplex Club Suite.” Upon entering the room, we’ll see a grand staircase and a spacious living room. Let’s start by exploring the entire room. Dining room. Another dining room. Billiard room. Kitchen. It’s spacious. Restroom. Return to the entrance. Grand staircase. Upstairs is a study and living room. A luxurious bedroom. Storage space. Bathroom. There is no peephole in the door. The door handle and control panel are gold. As the hotel opened in 1999, the light switches have a sense of age. All 202 suites are duplex (maisonettes). This is the suite at the very back of the 20th floor. The entrance floor is marble. There’s a purple carpet in the living room. There’s a Kartini chair next to the entrance. A glittering gold floor lamp. Gold is used in various places in the room. A Gold pencil. A picture of a ship. Gold is used even in places like this. Every detail in this suite has been thought out. Blue and gold are used extensively in this suite. It seems like a difficult color combination for room interiors. However, the room’s interior has a sophisticated impression. Gold is also used in the chairs at the bar counter. Some people think it’s luxurious, while others think it’s outdated. UAE brand mineral water. The welcome message is not handwritten. There is a bar counter. Let’s take a look at the private bar. Alcoholic drinks are, of course, charged . Snacks and soft drinks are also charged. From the upper floor, we can see the dining room and living room. There’s also a living space upstairs. I like this study. We can view the private dining menu via a QR code. The window offers a beautiful view of the Persian Gulf (Arabian Gulf). The study has a spacious feel. A phone from the Danish brand Jacob Jensen. A hotel original ballpoint pen. An Apple desktop computer. A USB hub (two USB ports, two universal power outlets). It’s an older hotel, but they’ve made some clever additions, like the USB hub. Next, let’s look at the bedroom. Water, glasses, and a bottle opener. There’s a refrigerator in the bedroom, too. The bedroom refrigerator only stocks water and soft drinks. The canopy bed is impressive. A helipad is located 210 meters (689 feet) above ground. Located on the 28th floor of the building, it has previously served as a tennis court. In 2005, Federer and Agassi played tennis on the helipad. The hotel was designed by British architect Tom Wright. Construction of the hotel began in 1994 and took approximately five years to complete in 1999. There are several affiliated hotels in the area, and golf carts are available. The Burj Al Arab is operated by the Jumeirah Group in Dubai. The beaches at these affiliated hotels are also available to guests staying at the Burj Al Arab. There is a fountain in front of the hotel entrance. Entering the hotel entrance. The Burj Al Arab Jumeirah sign is displayed. Portraits of seven members of the UAE royal family are displayed. Passing through the revolving door, we enter the lobby. There are seating areas and reception desks on the left and right. The lobby is so well-maintained, it’s hard to believe it’s been open for 25 years. I checked in there. The ceiling is covered in 24-karat gold leaf. It’s very dazzling. The lobby rugs are in an Arabian style. There is a fountain. There are escalators on both sides. The escalator on the right is the upward escalator. There is a large aquarium. It’s luxuriously decorated with red and gold tones. It serves lunch and dinner. There’s a seating area for relaxation. There’s a pastry boutique called LES DESSERTS. Helicopter Chocolate, 850 AED (231.5 USD). Burj Al Arab Chocolate, 450 AED (122.5 USD). This is a unique pastry boutique. It is a spacious floor. The atrium is viewed from the side. It looks different from the front. There are suites over there, too. All suites are duplex, so each one is two stories tall. This is the Sahn Eddar Lounge, where I had my gold leaf cappuccino. The lounge is bright and filled with sunlight during the day. The lighting is incredibly well designed. From the lounge windows, we can enjoy views of the driveway and bridge. The lounge’s décor is just as luxurious as the suites. There’s a private jet lounge called RightJet. There’s a boutique for Italian menswear brand Fabio Caviglia. There’s also a boutique for UAE jewelry brand Dhamani. Let’s go further in. A geometrically patterned floor. A sun? A 24-karat gold leaf ceiling. A gorgeous chandelier. Hotels with this kind of design are rare. I think this is a memorable hotel. Next, let’s go to the restaurant on the 27th floor. There’s a private elevator at the back. I’ve stayed at this hotel before, but I haven’t been to this area before. We head to AL MUNTAHA Restaurant on the 27th floor. We can see the hotel pools from the elevator. It feels like a restaurant in a dangerous location. The restaurant on the 27th floor is divided into two areas. We headto the Sky View Lounge. As we enter, there is a bar to the right. The ceiling design is unique. We can enjoy a panoramic view from the window table. I sit at a window table. Afternoon tea costs 490 AED (133.4 USD). Food menu. Drink menu. The afternoon tea is quite pricey, but I’m looking forward to it. It’s a non-alcoholic sparkling wine called Gold Emotion. It’s infused with 24-karat gold leaf. Over time, the gold leaf sinks to the bottom of the glass. It’s so luxurious. An amuse-bouche. A blueberry tartelette. The view is in the same direction as my suite. King crab tartelette. Cheese canelés. Zucchini tartelette. I also ordered a rooibos tiramisu. Patisserie. Pistachio raspberry cookie, Gianduja sable. Sones. Mango flower roll, rhubarb tonka tartelette. Vanilla caramel chouquette, hazelnut lemon swirl. Custard, jam, and berries. The afternoon tea stand is shaped like an oil boat. Everything was delicious. Considering the price, I think the afternoon tea is quite pricey. This window offers a view of the Persian Gulf (Arabian Gulf). Beyond that, we can see the artificial island of Palm Jumeirah. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. The dress code is smart and elegant, but not too strict. Next, let’s head to the ground floor. On the ground floor, there’s the breakfast restaurant and outdoor pools. There are exits on both sides. Here’s a guide to the pool and restaurant. In that showcase, Spa and boutique products are displayed. There’s the Bab Al Yam restaurant, exclusively for hotel guests. It has indoor and outdoor tables. It’s currently only open in the morning. From outside, we can see the hotel building from a different angle. This is the restaurant we visited earlier. We can see the white exoskeleton frame supporting the building. Wecan also see the two sister hotels. Neither of them look as impressive as the Burj Al Arab. Let’s go to one of the three outdoor pools. There’s an outdoor shower area. Safety guidelines for the Bab Al Yam pool. This is the Bab Al Yam pool. It’s 0.3 meters (0.98 feet) deep. It’s likely a family pool. The pool was closed on this day. We’re now on the opposite side of the hotel entrance. The view from here… The Madinat Jumeirah complex and its affiliated hotels are visible. We can see Dubai Marina and the artificial island of Palm Jumeirah. It’s fun to see the hotel’s architecture change depending on the angle. We can see the restaurant on the 27th floor and the elevator. Let’s head to the other two outdoor pools. The hotel boasts 10,000 square meters of outdoor luxury leisure facilities. The pool is 1.2 metres (3.93 feet) deep. There are also jacuzzis in the pool. This pool is open to outside guests for a fee (700 AED per person). It’s crowded during the day, so I took this photo in the morning. The Jumeirah Group logo is painted in the center of the pool. It has a nice atmosphere. To the bridge. The family-friendly pool seen from the bridge. It’s spacious. The hotel building seen from the bridge. It looks completely different from the front. There are locker rooms in the basement. A swimsuit dehydrator and sinks. Lockers. Shower rooms. They provide shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel from the Omani brand Amouage. There’s a boutique in the basement. The fitness gym is open from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. It’s a fairly large gym considering the hotel’s size. There are plenty of training machines. The facility is primarily equipped with Technogym machines. A Rolex watch hangs on the wall. Head to the cardio equipment area. It also had a wide selection of cardio equipment. There aren’t many people using the gym, so you can exercise and train comfortably. The spa has 14 treatment rooms. There is a wide range of treatments on offer and a wide variety of treatment rooms. The spa is located at an elevation of 150 meters (492 feet), offering panoramic views. The treatment room also has a shower room. The spa is also elegantly decorated. This is the fitness studio. It’s spacious. Further ahead is the kids’ club and library. There’s a spacious library. There’s a billiards table similar to the one in the suite. A view from the spa corridor. The hotel has an open atrium, but it would be scary to fall from there. There’s a meditation device called MINDSPA – Synctuition. There’s a white grand piano. I wonder if they play music here. A view from the 18th floor. The walls above the 18th floor are green. The walls below the 18th floor are yellow. The view is amazing. Evening canapés are served in the evening. I had tartlets and drinks. I took a rest in my suite. Let’s go see the hotel’s illuminations, which begin in the evening. We’re on the bridge in front of the hotel. There are LED floodlights here. The LED floodlights on the bridge illuminate the hotel building. The bridge itself is lit up red. Right now, the hotel is lit up blue-green. The hotel building is impressive up close. Let’s go for dinner. On my previous stay, I had dinner at Al Mahara, the aquarium restaurant on the ground floor. For dinner today, I’ll g to Al Muntaha restaurant on the 27th floor. We go to the opposite area for afternoon tea. Al Muntaha is a one-star restaurant in the Michelin Guide. It also has a bar. The ceiling is lit up in blue and green. I’ve never seen a restaurant with such a ceiling design. This is an Italian and French restaurant. The tableware is from the Italian brand Richard Ginori 1735. The staff asked me, “Would you like champagne?” Without knowing the price, I ordered champagne. It’s a Louis Roederer champagne. Apparently, Al Muntaha means “The Ultimate” in Arabic. The degustation menu is 1,100 AED (299.5 USD) per person. The menu is simple. Caviar menu. Starters. Exclusive course. Main courses. Cheese, and desserts. The amuse-bouche is a caviar and tuna tartlet. The other is an edamame tartlet. Next up is a dish not on the menu. I think it was a mushroom soup and it was delicious (sorry, I can’t remember exactly). Cantapulo Melon, Ceviche. It’s a dish that’s hard to imagine from the menu name. Veritas Tomato. It was well-chilled tomatoes. Caviar 24k. Yellowtail. It’s a sauce mixed with caviar. It was delicious raw fish and sauce. Tagliolino Tiepido. Pasta with caviar. The sauce was made with watercress and was a little spicy. Origine e Territorio. It’s an original dish. It had a unique flavor. Then bread is served. The butter is unique. Wild Turbot. The sauce is elaborate. It was a delicious fish dish. Another bread was brought out. It was freshly baked and warm. Lacaune Lamb. It had an Italian-style sauce made with pepperoni crusco. Sorbet made with fennel. It contains strawberries. Lemon . It was a light dessert made with lemon. Mignardises. It was an original and interesting dinner. The dinner cost 1,431.81 AED (388.9 USD). The food and atmosphere were good, but it seemed a bit pricey for the food. At this time, the hotel building is lit up in red. It looks like the final boss of a game or a monster from a movie! The hotel’s exterior is very impressive at night. Let’s take a look inside the hotel at night. The 24-karat gold leaf ceiling is beautiful. The fountain in the back is also lit up. The atrium and fountain at night. When I touched the fountain water, it was stronger than I expected. The atrium at night has a different atmosphere than during the day. The atrium may even be more beautiful during the day. The hotel at night has a fantastic atmosphere. It’s an atrium that I’ll want to see again and again. It’s artistic. The golden pillars are lit up red. There are LED floodlights underneath, shining light from below. The exquisite lighting is beautiful. In addition to overnight guests, there are also a few guests who are only using the restaurant. Let’s return to my suite. The guest room floor is very quiet and serene. There’s a standing lamp in this place. The hotel is in such good condition that it’s hard to believe it opened in 1999. However, some people say the interior is outdated. Let’s return to my suite and check how the turndown service was performed. The blinds in the living room are not lowered. Go upstairs. The sparkling chandelier is dazzling. I love the view from here. Head to to the bedroom. There’s water on the bedside table. There are also slippers provided. If we look closely at the bathtub… We can see that it is slightly dirty. We can ask the butler to fill the jacuzzi with hot water. Today I will fill it myself. The amenities are mostly wooden. There used to be a gold comb, but now it’s a wooden comb. The toothbrush is also different from before. The combs and toothbrushes were more luxurious when I stayed there before. Basic amenities are provided. Mouthwash. Hermès soap. Terre d’Hermès eau de toilette. Terre d’Hermès aftershave balm. UN JARDIN SUR LE NIL eau de toilette. The bedroom curtains can be closed with a remote control. They have high-quality blackout curtains. The blinds can also be lowered with a remote control. It took more than a minute for the blinds to lower completely. It must be a lot of work to have such large blinds. These blinds also have high-quality blackout blinds. Let’s check the water pressure in the luxurious shower. Try the body shower… I was surprised at how strong the water pressure was! The shower pressure is strong, making for a comfortable shower. Try the Jacuzzi. Drop in bath salts. The bath salts are redder than I expected. I don’t really know how to use it, so I just press the switch randomly. The jacuzzi worked well, and I enjoyed a comfortable bath. If we look closely at the bathrobe, we’ll see the price written on it. The men’s bathrobe is 1,962 AED (534.2 USD). The silk bathrobe is 1,064 AED (289.7 USD). I check the Wi-Fi speed. The Wi-Fi is quite fast and there are no issues at all. I’m going to sleep. I slept well in the fluffy bed. Good morning. If it were my own home, it would definitely be a hassle to pull up those blinds every morning. However, for occasional overnight stays, it’s not a problem. For a 7-star hotel, the breakfast was average. Other hotels in Dubai offer more luxurious breakfasts. There are special menus, such as the Royal Eggs Benedict, but they cost extra. If we want a better breakfast, we might want to pay extra. The sky is clearer than yesterday. We can see Palm Jumeirah better than yesterday. We can also see the Atlantis Hotels. We can easily cross the bridge and reach the beach. Next, let’s go to the hotel boutique. The location of the boutique has changed. The hotel is a popular tourist spot, and the boutique has a wide selection of products. Let’s take a look at the products. It’s the tray that was in the room. Gold tea items. Glasses. Aroma candles. This tour allows you to see the inside of the hotel without staying overnight. Prices start from 249 AED (67.8 USD). Enter through a private entrance and tour the atrium. Then, visit the Royal Suite on the 25th floor. The atrium has been featured several times in this video. The Royal Suite on the 25th floor is not featured in this video. After touring the suites, guests will visit the lounge and boutique. The Royal Suite on the 25th floor is the hotel’s largest suite. Judging from the photos, the interior is quite luxurious. Depending on the tour plan, you can enjoy a gold leaf cappuccino. The tour is said to last an hour. There is a boutique exclusively for tour guests on the mezzanine floor. It sells perfumes, books, clothes, and more. The boutique is also open to hotel guests. Photographs are available for purchase for a fee. Hotel merchandise. It’s amazing how much merchandise they make. The mugs and water bottles have a user-friendly design. I’d like to buy something to take home as a souvenir. T-shirts and stuffed toys. Models made from 24-carat gold leaf. The boutiques continue further back. They sell polo shirts and swimsuits. The lower floor is a lounge. There’s a luxurious elevator here. The luxurious elevator takes us from the mezzanine to the ground floor. The staircase here is also luxurious. This is the tour exit. Finally, there’s another boutique. There’s UMA, a lounge and bar exclusively for tour guests. Tour guests can enjoy gold leaf cappuccinos, cocktails, and more here. If you have the opportunity, it might be worth joining a tour. I bought perfume and bath towel as souvenirs. Labubu was significantly more expensive than the regular price, perhaps a rip-off? 450 AED (122.5 USD). We can take home Hermes amenities provided in the suites. After buying souvenirs, I found that they wouldn’t fit in my suitcase. I had no choice but to force them in. Even after squeezing everything in, my suitcase was packed to the brim. I was worried about damaging my suitcase. Check-out time is 12:00. Was the hotel a 7-star hotel? The term “7-star hotel” is said to have originated from a British journalist who visited the hotel before its opening in 1999. The journalist described the Burj Al Arab as “the best thing he had ever seen” and called it a 7-star hotel. However, more than 25 years have passed since then. Let’s take a look at the room rate (during the low-season of June). The room rate was 8,922.69 AED (2,429.6 USD). The combined price for the room and dinner was 10,354.5 USD (2,819.5 USD). Looking back at my stay at the hotel. The atrium was gorgeous and uniquely designed. The suite was luxurious, spacious, and elegant. The only drawback of the suite was the cumbersome staircase from the living room to the bedroom. However, I believe the suite was worthy of a 7-star hotel. The Hermès bath amenities were luxurious. It’s rare to find a hotel that offers such luxury. I loved the luxurious blue bathrobe. The experience of drinking a gold leaf cappuccino was also great. The afternoon tea felt on par with other 5-star hotels. The hotel’s facilities were also on par with other 5-star hotels. The dinner restaurant, Al Muntaha, had a unique interior and atmosphere. It’s hard to decide between this and the Aquarium Restaurant, Al Mahara. I recommend trying both if possible. The breakfast was on par with other 5-star hotels. The hotel’s exterior, interior, and suites were excellent, and I felt it still qualifies as a 7-star hotel. I asked the staff to take me to the affiliated hotel in a golf cart. After this, I headed to the new Marsa Al Arab Hotel. It takes about 5 minutes by cart from the Burj Al Arab to the Marsa Al Arab. The gate. Next to the gate, there’s a path to the sister hotel. We pass the Jumeirah Beach Hotel. The Jumeirah Beach Hotel opened in 1997, before the Burj Al Arab. I’ve already posted a video about the Marsa Al Arab on my YouTube channel. The Marsa Al Arab is a 5-star hotel that opened in March 2025. The Burj Al Arab can be seen from various locations within the Marsa Al Arab. The interior of Marsa Al Arab is more modern. The exterior of Marsa Al Arab is curvaceous and more feminine. In contrast to the Burj Al Arab, Marsa Al Arab lacks an Arabian feel. The interior of the rooms also has a modern feel. It seems that preference is divided as to whether Marsa Al Arab or the Burj Al Arab is better. Personally, I prefer the Burj Al Arab because it feels more special. Thank you for watching.
Today we will be staying at the Burj Al Arab, an iconic 7-star luxury hotel in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). In this video, you can enjoy the interior of the Burj Al Arab building, the premium Club Suite, facilities such as the pools and spa, a French dinner at a Michelin-starred restaurant, and breakfast.

1:12:03 Impressions – Can this really be called a 7-star hotel?

■Notes
– The Burj Al Arab, which opened on December 1, 1999, is often referred to as a “7-star hotel,” but it is officially a 5-star hotel. The term “7-star hotel” is said to have been coined by a British journalist who toured the hotel before its official opening. The journalist described the Burj Al Arab as “the best thing he’d ever seen” and called it a 7-star hotel. A Jumeirah Group spokesperson stated, “There’s not much we can do to stop this. We don’t encourage the use of the term, and we’ve never used it in our advertising.”
– The hotel is built on an artificial island 280 meters (920 feet) off Jumeirah Beach and is connected to the mainland by a dedicated curved bridge.
– Construction of the island began in 1994, and at its peak, up to 2,000 construction workers were involved.
– The hotel’s exterior is designed to resemble the sails of a dhow.
– There is a helipad 210 meters (689 feet) above ground level. The helipad, designed by Irish architect Rebecca Gernon, is located on the building’s 28th floor and has served as a car racetrack, a boxing ring, a tennis tournament venue, and the launch pad for the highest kitesurfing jump in history.
– The design was by British consultancy Atkins, led by WKA architect Tom Wright.
– The interiors were designed by British-Chinese designer Khuan Chew.
– The construction was carried out by South African contractor Murray & Roberts (now Concor & Al Habtoor Engineering).
– The building’s impressive atrium is 180 meters (590 feet) high.
– The hotel offers six restaurants, with Al Muntaha and Al Mahara being its signature restaurants.

7 star hotel DOESN'T exist.
Thanks for sharing❤
Well… Super uber kitsch. 🙁
With hefty price tag,at least free snack+soft drinks its enough. Even cheaper price hotel has a free minibar(softdrinks+snacks).
あまりにも贅沢な空間の使い方ですね👏
とても高級そうな素晴らしいホテルですね
I loved the video, and the painting in the pool room was of a falcon with a protection that people who have falcons use to preserve their vision, they only remove it when it is for a competition or for exhibition.
My favorite channel. And mentor

This hotel doesn't look very appealing to me😮
Thanks for doing another video of the hotel? I do have a couple of questions. One, with the shower not having a rain feature would you say it's still amazing just like the other hotel showers in Dubai, and can you also change the position of the shower head? And two, since you stayed at the Burj Al Arab again can you also do another stay at the Emirates Palace with a video on that?
朝夕食事付きで50万円は超えるのかなと思いました。朝食はカロリー高めな気がします。
あれ、建物の形が横浜のインターコンチネンタルホテルに似てますね。
Great video as always thanks.👍👌🎉

Hello 👋🏻ST Travel, nice tour of the hotel👍🏻. The hotel still looks very nice after so many years. Do you think the price of $2429 really corresponds to the hotel's services? Did you use the butler service during your stay? It wasn't in the video. The breakfasts look nice, but we've already seen richer breakfasts on your channel. Greetings from the Czech Republic🇨🇿👋🏻. We look forward to the new video.
56:35 That display doesn't look like 7 stars or even 5 stars (official).
Hi ST the Burj AL Arab is my favorite hotel in the world. I wish I could move in permanently and never leave the property. The hotel is not outdated and I hope they never change the look or the elegant ambiance. Thanks for sharing and we hope you have a pleasant weekend 👍❤️😎👋🇺🇸

こういう場所に滞在するときに主さんはどのような服装なのかな。Tシャツとジーパンのようなラフな格好ではないですよね?
Thank you sir for the video tour. Appreciate the close ups of the menu and the food. I have only had a tasting menu twice in my life (and I wasn't paying for it so I had no choice) but both times I left hungry. It might be better value to ry something local or something you have never tried before? Again, thank you for the time taken to share all of the details.
