【女ひとり旅】疲れを癒すため山奥の一軒宿に22時間引きこもってみた【船山温泉|身延山|山梨】

Hello everyone. How are you all? I’m currently on my way to Funayama Onsen in Nanbu Town, Yamanashi Prefecture. As summer fatigue begins to set in, I was looking for a relaxing getaway, and I received an invitation from a hot spring inn that welcomes solo travelers. Access by public transportation is via the Fujikawa Limited Express from Shizuoka Station or Kofu Station to the nearest Uchifuna Station, or by car via the Shin-Tomei Expressway. I transferred to the limited express at Shizuoka Station. Uchifuna Station is unmanned. I purchased and received my ticket for the Fujikawa Limited Express in advance. Apparently, you can see Mt. Fuji from the window, but unfortunately, it was cloudy that day and I couldn’t see it. The inn is about a 10-minute drive away. If you schedule a pick-up and drop-off in advance, you can arrange a shuttle service. The tranquil scenery of the mountains and rivers visible from the window is already soothing. “There’s watercress growing here.” “Yes, yes.” Apparently, there’s watercress growing near the parking lot. “Wow.” Apparently, you can see fireflies there during firefly season. I’d love to see some! “Thank you.” I checked in with the sound of bell crickets playing in the background. The concept is a soothing, relaxing space. To ensure a quiet and relaxing stay, the inn does not accept groups of more than seven people, children under elementary school age, or drop-ins. With 10 rooms, it’s a hidden inn for adults only. We were given a tour of the inn. The wine cellar was lined with high-quality wines. Apparently, they even offer wine as a welcome drink. This service is available for an additional fee. Coffee and tea were also available. The tatami flooring throughout the inn was relaxing. I first got to see the hot springs. Cold barley tea and water were available in the rest area. There were also vending machines. Then, I headed to the large public bath. There were various amenities, including skincare products and toothbrushes. There were towels in various sizes, too. That’s very convenient. Dyson hair dryers dry quickly, don’t they? The large public bath was spacious and comfortable. There was a reclining bath in the middle, which seemed like a relaxing experience. The spring water is said to be a simple sulfur cold mineral spring. It’s said to be effective against atopic dermatitis, eczema, and insomnia . The open-air bath seems even more comfortable. You can listen to the sound of the river as you bathe. Incidentally, the large public bath is alternately priced for men and women. I tried it after dinner, and it was lit up , creating a wonderful atmosphere. They even had shampoo available for rent. That was nice. I’ll check out the private baths later. Now, let’s head to our room. The room is also tatami-floored. They’ve done a great job. Having a sink right when you enter is helpful. The bathroom is, of course, clean. The lights are automatic. Having a lockbox at the entrance makes it easy to remember your key. This is a spacious, beautiful room. I have this room all to myself today. The beautiful greenery is visible from the window, which is very relaxing. There’s even a massage machine! The air purifier is working well. The beds are Simmons. Apparently, there are other rooms like this. Every room seems calming and relaxing. There’s a TV stored inside the door. Glasses, tea, and a kettle are also provided. I found some in-house wear. There were also tabi socks for after the bath. There was also an accessory box. This was a nice touch, as I tend to lose things easily. If you want something other than tea, there’s a free drink station outside the room. They also had decaffeinated herbal tea, black tea, and coffee. In addition to the samue (work clothes) worn in the hotel, they also had yukatas. Oh, oh, oh, oh. Test, test. Hello everyone. This is Sumi. I’m at Funayama Onsen in Yamanashi Prefecture. I was invited and, um, I’m staying here. So, about Funayama Onsen, I took the Shinkansen from Nagoya Station to Shizuoka, then took the express train from Shizuoka to Uchifuna Station, where I got on a shuttle bus and arrived at Funayama Onsen. There aren’t really any houses around Funayama Onsen, so it really feels like a lone inn in the mountains. I think it’s perfect for those looking for a relaxing getaway. Check-in is at 1:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM, meaning you can stay for 20?22 hours, making this a truly wonderful inn. I was shown around the inside and outside of my room , and it was so relaxing. I could hear the sound of crickets and smell what I think was incense. I thought, “Ah, this is truly a one-of-a-kind inn for adults.” I’m sure there are many people who are tired from their daily lives, but by coming far away, deep in the mountains, you can escape the real world and spend some time relaxing in a place like this, which I think is a great way to change your mood. They also had welcome drinks, coffee, tea, and roasted green tea, I think, in front of the lobby below . They also had wine, but it seemed like it was an extra charge . But it looked delicious. It was grape, after all, Yamanashi . There were also magazines downstairs. There were magazines and DVDs, and you were given a plate with your room number on it. In exchange for this, you could watch a DVD in your room. By the way, I checked in at 1 PM, but it’s now past 2 PM . I decided to take a leisurely welcome drink downstairs before heading to the bath. I strolled outside for a bit. There were carp in the pond. There was also terrace seating, which was nice to relax on . I enjoyed the fresh air while listening to the sound of the river flowing. I headed to the open-air bath in the large communal bath. This hot spring along the river was modest but wonderful. I came to the private bath called Futari Shizu. There are two private hot springs, but one of them is probably not open-air; Futari Shizu seems to be the open-air bath. Gazing at the river flowing in front of me, I thought to myself, “These are maple leaves, I think. They must be incredibly beautiful when the leaves turn red.” The green maples are also beautiful . Each private bath also had a toilet attached to the changing room, which I thought was very convenient. The changing room had everything you could want, and the amenities were also very comprehensive, including mouthwash and other standard amenities. There was also water in cups, so it seemed like you could drink it right away. Towels were provided in both the private bath and the large public bath, with small and large towels . Yes. It really feels like everything was taken care of. I just went to the large public bath, and it’s already 6 p.m., time for dinner. I’d like to relax until 6 p.m. I found a popular camping manga in the book section . It’s set in Yamanashi, isn’t it? I’m getting hungry. It’s finally time for dinner. I’ll have dinner in my private room. Thank you. It’s beautiful with three glass walls. It feels like a private space. First, an aperitif? This is homemade plum wine. Yes. Today’s sashimi is rockfish, wasabi greens, and Fujinosuke trout. Yes. Please enjoy with salt, soy sauce, lemon juice, and wasabi. And, uh, here’s the appetizer: smoked wine trout with white sauce, maitake mushrooms, okra, and shrimp potato in a thick sauce. Yes. And, uh, chawanmushi with nameko mushrooms, hiratake mushrooms, and ginkgo nuts. Yes. And, uh, the hot pot is wild boar hot pot. This is wild boar meat grilled on a teppanyaki plate. “It’s wild boar? Amazing.” And then there’s that sweet sparkling wine, Makioka. Thank you. Yes. It has a simple, homemade taste and is very delicious. Perfect as an aperitif. It’s sweet and easy to drink. Is it chawanmushi with mushrooms? Yes. Delicious. A light, simple, comforting taste. It would go really well with wine. Yes. This goes well with wine. For those who like to drink wine. They also have half bottles of imported wine. They also have Japanese sake and local sake. Everything looks delicious. Yes. Delicious. The salt is delicious, too. It has a light salmon taste. Very delicious. I think anything tastes better in places with clean water . A truly luxurious moment. I want to cherish moments like this. Did I make the wild boar hotpot? It was my first time eating wild boar. How does it taste? I’m excited. It’s plump. The oil has a strong umami flavor. I had grilled rock trout and sweetfish. Is that sweetfish in the back? Apparently the one in the front is rock trout. Yes. I guess you could say it has a refreshing flavor. Of course it’s not smelly at all. A light, plain taste. Delicious. Yes. Yes. Delicious. The saltiness is just right. Hmm, it seems to have a bit of a vibrant flavor…or maybe I’m just imagining it. I’ll have this with it. Yes. Yes, I think it’s best to eat it with watercress. It has a different flavor. The bitterness is great. Homemade, handmade soba noodles. They were refreshing and easy to eat. I also had wild boar meat teppanyaki. This was a bit nerve-wracking. While I was cooking, the president appeared. “Do you talk to me about all sorts of things when you come to shoot?” “Yes.” He suggested I try it with salt, so I did. “It’s my first time.” I enjoyed chatting with the friendly president as I ate. The teppanyaki was easier to eat than I’d imagined. It was. I thought it had a stronger flavor than pork. Thank you to the friendly president. “Do you mean chestnut rice?” “Yes. Chestnut rice.” He made me a rice ball for the rice. The small rice ball next to it was actually a midnight snack. After a hot spring bath, you get hungry, don’t you? I think the dessert was apple and pudding. I ate a lot and was full. After that, I went back to the hot spring and once my stomach had settled, I had the rice ball. Thank you for the meal. I took the first hot spring bath of the morning. It was amazing. The large public bath was also all to myself. ” Good morning .” It’s breakfast time. Yes. Amazing. I couldn’t see it yesterday, but now I have a great view outside. It’s glass on three sides. And there are two pots. Here’s tofu and miso soup. Yes. Yes. The grilled fish is overnight dried amago trout. This is sweet and sour sweetfish. Yes . Yes. And, um, in the buffet corner, there’s white rice, porridge, bread, and drinks, so I’ll put that over there . Okay, I understand. Please use them. It’s nice that they have porridge in addition to rice. I tried soba porridge. Let’s eat. The miso soup is filled with chunks of vegetables. Morning miso soup is soaked in the flavor. Everything is gently seasoned and comforting. The ingredients are fresh and juicy. Homemade tofu. This is absolutely delicious. I’ll dip it in the broth. I ate the sweet and sour sweetfish, head and all. The soba porridge was also delicious. For dessert, we had yogurt and pear. Each flavor soothed my tired body. I feel like I’ve become healthier just by staying here. Thank you for the meal. I’ll relax until check-out. I lie on the sofa, enjoying this view from the window. I just want to lie there forever. The massage machine is also great. Thank you for your hospitality. The owner, knowing in advance that I love cats, showed me the cats he’s rescued at the inn. Will they run away if I get too close? Yes. They do. They do. I’m not sure how close I can get. Just give it a try. It’ll be fine. Their names are King and Queen. As I was taking pictures, King did run away, as expected. Sorry for the interruption. Thank you for everything. I’ll be dropped off at the station on my way back. After this, I’ll head out for some sightseeing. I’ve arrived at Uchifune Station. This is an unmanned station. The station looks like this. If I have some extra time, I could probably take a rest on a bench . I head to Minobu Station, two stops away from Uchifune Station. I wondered if they’d use the benches when getting off at Uchifune Station. Like a bus, you take a numbered ticket when you board and pay at the ticket gate when you get off. Minobu Station is manned, and there seem to be shops around the station. I checked the bus times in advance. From Minobu Station, I headed to Minobu-san Kuonji Temple, about 15 minutes away. While I was looking at the timetable on the way back, the bus driver told me about some must-see spots. He turned out to be an acquaintance of the president of Funayama Onsen. What a coincidence! Oh, the bus driver just told me all about it. I was planning to go to the main hall and then take the ropeway from there to the inner sanctuary at the top, but I decided to go there after all, since Nichiren Shonin’s grave is there. If I have time, I’ll go there. Minobu-san Kuonji Temple is the head temple of the Nichiren sect and is said to have been founded by Nichiren Shonin during the Kamakura period. Apparently, getting to the main hall beyond this point is a bit difficult. By the way, there are apparently two slopes, one called “Women’s Slope” and the other called “Otoko’s Slope.” Amazing. 287 steps. It’s like this. It’s basically mountain climbing. That angle is insane. Going down might be scarier than going up. Let’s go. Oh, each step is so steep. Let’s go slowly. Sigh. We’re here. We’re here, but I’m a little sweaty. Photography is prohibited inside the hall, so I just prayed. The quiet, solemn atmosphere made me feel like my soul was being cleansed. Now, I’m heading to the ropeway station. The ropeway seems to run every 20 minutes. It takes about 7 minutes to reach the summit of Mt. Minobu, at an elevation of 1,153 meters . It takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes to hike the approach . The ropeway was designed by Eiji Mitooka, famous for his designs for the Shinkansen bullet train. I had a bad feeling, but I couldn’t see Mount Fuji. I decided to visit the inner sanctuary and then head down. Apparently there were dumplings and other treats, but I decided to just pray this time. Surprisingly, I didn’t have time for the return bus. In the end, I didn’t have time to visit Nichiren Shonin’s grave . I had a little time before my return train at Minobu Station, so I wandered around a bit. Apparently, the area around Minobu Station is a sacred place for a certain manga. The scenery is beautiful. It’s so relaxing. I changed my ticket at Minobu Station, and the station attendant was incredibly kind. It made me realize just how kind people are in Yamanashi. I bought a paper cup of wine at a souvenir shop near the station. I also bought some Minobu manju. The “Minobu” character is so elegant. Thank you for the meal. The sweet bean paste inside was perfectly filling and delicious. It was my first time in Nanbu Town, Yamanashi, and it was so peaceful. It’s the perfect place to escape reality and get away from the city. Bonus : I completely forgot the name of the express train. I forgot to turn on my microphone, and I had my first drink without even realizing it. This was take two for the main feature. I noticed a sake cup I didn’t recognize, but it turned out to be a chawanmushi lid. Second massage machine. Camera retrieval . Camera retrieval. I’m going to try to take this a little more seriously (mystery) Thank you for watching until the end!
