「かがみいし２０２５田んぼアート 窓から眺める絵本～もう一つの”図書館”～」
平成２４年から始まった「かがみいし田んぼアート」は、今年で１３年目を迎えます。
今回の絵柄はこれまでのコンセプトである「窓から眺める絵本～もう一つの”図書館”～」、童謡・童話、唱歌シリーズを受け継ぎ、「シンデレラ」に決定しました。
絵柄「シンデレラ」は、昨年に引き続き有名アニメの作画を数多く手掛けた、アニメクリエイターの湖川友謙（こがわとものり）氏がデザインしました。
今年も【進化（深化）する田んぼアート】を皆様に見ていただきたいとの思いで、実行委員会一同取り組んでまいります。
今年も種まき、育苗、絵の下書きとなる測量作業、田植えと岩瀬農業高校の生物生産科作物専攻班と環境工学科測量専攻班に全面的な協力を得ています。
今年は、田んぼのキャンパスの絵具となる苗を６色９種類を使用して作成を予定しています。
また、田んぼアートの見ごろは、７月から８月です。小さな苗一つ一つが作り出す、大きな農芸術「かがみいし田んぼアート」。
Kagamiishi 2025 Rice Paddy Art: Picture Books from the Window – Another “Library”
This year marks the 13th year of the “Kagamiishi Rice Paddy Art,” which began in 2012.
This year’s design is “Cinderella,” which is based on the past concept of “Picture Books from the Window: Another ‘Library’,” a series of children’s songs, fairy tales, and songs for children.
The “Cinderella” design was created by animation creator Tomonori Kogawa, who has worked on numerous famous animated films, as he did last year.
This year, too, the committee will continue its efforts with the hope that everyone will be able to see the “evolving (deepening) rice paddy art.
This year again, we have the full cooperation of the Iwase Agricultural High School’s Crops Group of the Bioproduction Department and the Surveying Group of the Environmental Engineering Department in sowing seeds, growing seedlings, surveying as a draft for the painting, and planting the rice fields.
This year, we plan to use six colors and nine types of seedlings as the paints for the rice paddy campus.
The best time to see the rice paddy art is from July to August. Kagami-ishi Rice Paddy Art” is a large piece of agricultural art created by each small seedling.
三春町上舞木地区のコミュニティ広場「ファームパークいわえ」では、15年前から地元住民が遊休農地を活用して田んぼアートを描いている。デザインは毎年変わるが、今年はどんな仕上がりになるのだろうか。
藩主伊達政宗の妻として知られる三春生まれの愛姫、三春滝桜、三春だるまなど、町自慢の田んぼがデザインされている。
「モンベル」とカタカナで書かれているのは、田んぼアートを見て「モンベルって何？田んぼアートを見に来た人が「モンベルって何だろう」と思って、モンベルを薦めてくれるようにとカタカナで描かれた。
作業は4月から始まり、地元の人たち自身がデザインを決め、草刈りや測量などを行った。作業は8月末まで続くそうなので、思いを込めて作られた田んぼアートを見に来てはいかがだろうか。
For the past 15 years, local residents have been utilizing idle farmland to paint rice paddy art at Farm Park Iwae, a community square in the Kamimaiki district of Miharu Town. The design changes every year…what will the result be this year?
The design is filled with the town’s pride and joy, including Princess Aihime, a princess born in Miharu known as the wife of the feudal lord Date Masamune, Miharu Takizakura cherry blossoms, and Miharu Daruma dolls.
The word “Montbell” is written in katakana to encourage visitors to come and see the rice paddy art and ask “What’s Montbell? The katakana characters were drawn so that visitors to the rice paddy art would wonder what Montbell is and recommend the company to them.
The work began in April, with the local people themselves deciding on the design, mowing, and surveying. The work will continue until the end of August, so why don’t you come and see the rice field art that has been created with so much thought and care?
