Late August 2025. My family is currently working in Kitami City. We’re currently in Kitami City. Corgi travel, van life with our corgis. Osa, Mama-chan, and Kotaro. A new must-have item has been added to this trip: a portable power supply from DJI, a manufacturer famous for its drones. DJI’s latest portable power supply, the Power 1000V2. The DJI Power 1000V2 is DJI’s latest development: a 1kWh all-purpose outdoor power supply. It can power everyday electrical devices in a variety of situations, from outdoor leisure activities and outdoor photography to household emergencies. Preparing breakfast. Kotaro is super hungry. Vegetables first. Chicken wing and vegetable soup. Bacon and egg hot sandwich. Cabbage and fried chicken hot sandwich. DJI Power 1000 V2. Ultra-high power output – up to 2600W stable output, powered until the battery runs out. Stable power supply for 99% of common devices, with fast charging guaranteed without damaging electrical appliances. Reference values for major high-power devices: large microwave: 800W, hair dryer: 1800W, 1.5-unit wall-mounted air conditioner: 1200W, induction cooktop: 2200W. Multiple output terminals: 4 AC outputs, 2 USB-A ports, 2 USB-C ports (2 x 140W), 1 SDC port, 1 SDC Lite port. Ample power for anywhere. With a large capacity of 1024Wh, it can handle long-term use of multiple devices. Ultra-quiet operation ensures a restful sleep. Charging noise in normal mode is just under 26 decibels. Even when used overnight at a campsite, the power supply’s operation is quieter than the wind and as quiet as a quiet air conditioner in a bedroom at night. It’s quiet enough for even Kotaro, who has good hearing, to rest comfortably next to you. Breakfast is ready. Charging photography equipment, etc. A portable power source is an essential item, especially on longer trips. Four AC outputs: Simultaneously use a coffee maker, camping lamp, fan, and microwave. Two USB-A ports: Multiple people can simultaneously charge their smartphones. Two USB-C ports (140W x 2): High output power allows a MacBook Pro to be charged to 50% in 30 minutes. Capacity reaches up to 11,264 Wh, and can be expanded with up to five 2,048 Wh power packs. Flexible capacity options include 3, 5, 7, 9, and 11 kWh. The lithium iron phosphate battery is safe and durable, maintaining 80% capacity even after 4,000 charge/discharge cycles and providing a lifespan of approximately 10 years. The battery is made of non-flammable materials and has a high-strength structural design, with a static load capacity of up to 1 ton. High reliability ensures safe use and complete support, even in emergencies, vehicle shake, and high-altitude environments (5,000 meters). Osa and Kotaro take a nap after breakfast. It’s a lovely, lazy time. After this, we plan to go into town and stroll around the station, sightseeing. We’ll visit a monument in downtown Kitami. Before starting our trip, I used to come here to shop. It’s a refreshing experience, as I haven’t had a chance to walk around the city center yet. We’ll also visit Kitami Station. Kitami is famous for curling. I’d seen someone else’s YouTube video and was curious about the onion chairs inside the station. Osa really wanted to sit on one. He seemed satisfied. Kotaro was tired of waiting. Osa was feeling a bit hungry. The DJI Power 1000 V2 is compact and doesn’t get in the way. In this hot climate, I prefer using electrical appliances over a gas stove. Smart remote control via the app is also available. It comes with a 3-year warranty, and a 5-year warranty if you install and connect the app via the QR code on the ceiling. Kitami City is about 60 kilometers from my home, about an hour away. It’s time to give Kotaro a wash. But the electricity is off. I’ll have to dry him with a hair dryer. Portable power sources are convenient when your home electricity is unavailable due to a power outage or other reason. I charged my DJI Zignes with a 120W solar panel. It offers ultra-fast charging and a variety of charging methods. It takes 56 minutes to fully charge on the streetcar, and just 37 minutes to go from 0% to 80%. Using a 1kW in-car ultra-fast charger, I could fully charge in 78 minutes. Using a DJI Power 1.8kW solar/in-car fast charger, I could charge quickly with up to 1800 watts of solar power, reaching a full charge in as little as 40 minutes. With 1024W of power and 2600W of output, it can handle most of my electrical needs. It can easily handle a 1200W hair dryer, and I can also use a 600W electric heater at the same time. If you’re interested , please check out the link in the description. Now that Kotaro is looking good, I headed back to Kitami and went to the town’s public bathhouse: Takaei-yu. The bathing fee was 500 yen for adults, and the water was great. I had an early dinner. This is a restaurant that I’ve been curious about every time I pass by. It’s a yakiniku restaurant, but they also serve hamburgers, spaghetti Napolitana, curry rice, and more. The first floor is a butcher shop, and the second floor is a yakiniku restaurant. Unfortunately, video is prohibited. I’ll leave you with some still images. First, we toasted with beer. Ice-cold beer is the best. Osa had the hamburger spaghetti Napolitana. I had the hamburger steak and croquette set meal. Hot spaghetti served on a hot plate. Old-fashioned Napolitana with a strong flavor. I like it. Crispy batter. Richly sweet potatoes. Delicious croquette. Fluffy hamburger steak. Mature demi-glace sauce with just the right amount of bitterness. This is also delicious. Comes with salad. Plenty of cabbage. Miso soup with a strong broth. Satisfied. Thank you for the meal. I bought some prosciutto and liver tsukudani at the butcher shop on the first floor. Kotaro has been welcoming me in a good mood lately. His meal was topped with natto. A bar you’ll want to visit right in the heart of downtown. Kitami Jimanmura. Orcia Wine Bar. Just looking at the menu tells you what to expect. A hidden gem for adults. First of all, beer. The sweetness of the savory black beans is combined with the cream cheese. Can I have some wine, please? Buffalo mozzarella and tomato caprese. All the vegetables are from Kitami. Honestly, it’s beyond delicious. The sauce on top is also amazing. It’s time for some wine. To the right is Kitami wine. And roast beef with beef cheek. The rich flavor of the wine spreads in your mouth. This is my first time eating roast beef with beef cheek. The meat has a firm texture and is chewy. You can taste the umami of the meat with each bite. Osa poured on an onion sauce. It was seasoned with peppercorns. The pepper makes the wine go well with it. A second glass of wine and a sausage platter. Everything about this restaurant was satisfying. Thank you for the meal. A relaxing evening. Today I went sightseeing in front of Kitami Station. It was a fulfilling day off, eating delicious food. Osa will be back to work tomorrow. But I’ll enjoy a few more drinks tonight.
