今回は、千葉県佐原の街並みです。
佐原は昔から利根川沿いの水運があることもあり，商業都市として栄えた歴史を持ちます。また，日本全体を高精度に測量し，地図を作った伊能忠敬ゆかりの土地でもあります。川の両脇に古い街並みが残り，日本的風景のなか，散歩，ランチ，買い物を楽しめます。
This time, we explored the streets of Sawara in Chiba Prefecture.
Sawara has a long history of prosperity as a commercial city, thanks in part to its waterways and the Tone River. The town is also associated with Ino Tadataka, who surveyed and mapped Japan with great accuracy. The old streets remain on both sides of the river, and visitors can enjoy strolling, having lunch and shopping amidst the traditional Japanese scenery.
