『志国土佐 時代の夜明けのものがたり』絶景とグルメ旅
Today I took a Shikoku sightseeing train that runs from Kochi Station to Kubokawa Station . It’s a sightseeing train that travels around places associated with Sakamoto Ryoma. It stops at stations close to the sea and has luxurious passenger compartments. Please take a look. Good morning . This time we started from Kochi Station. Speaking of Kochi, it’s a place associated with Sakamoto Ryoma. Takeshi Hanpeita, Sakamoto Ryoma , Nakaoka Shintaro. The sightseeing train runs from Kochi Station, so I came to ride it. My goal is this Shikoku Tosa, a story of the dawn of an era. Are you looking forward to a meal in this luxurious interior ? Who is this drunken god? What a unique character! Kochi is famous for its Soran Bushi song, isn’t it? The section from Kochi Station to Kubokawa is called “Risshi no Sho”. It’s about a 2 hour 30 minute train journey from Kochi Station to Kubokawa Station. Unfolding before my eyes is the figure of a character that is very popular with children, welcoming me. The artist is apparently from Kochi, and there is even a train with his design in operation. So I head to the platform. The departing train is in 40 minutes. It has a familiar melody . The tourist train I am taking this time is playing its melody as it pulls in. The tourist train has a cool design. The carriages are a two-car set, with car number 1 being “KUROFUNE”, which is modeled after a steamship, and featuring Sakamoto Ryoma, and car number 2 being “SORAFUNE”, which is modeled after a spaceship. Is this Sakamoto Ryoma again? Shikoku Tosa – A story of the dawn of an era We boarded the train. All the carriages are green cars. The design is great and it feels futuristic. This time I reserved seat 3B. There is a monitor installed and I am grateful for the outlets . I had a reservation for a meal so the food will arrive after we depart. There is also the regular menu , alcohol and soft drinks, and original merchandise. Departing – Local people seeing us off was great. It is a popular tourist train and it can fill up on weekends so make your reservation early. The fare is 1,640 JPY, the express fare is 1,200 JPY, and the green fare is 1,700 JPY, for a total of 4,540 JPY. You can faintly see Kochi Castle in the centre of the screen. Kagami River is the river where Sakamoto Ryoma swam as a child, and it seems he would practice swimming even on rainy days. It is really a blessing that there are outlets . The map of the line has a handmade feel and the illustrations are cute. There are various sights along the line listed. Turn the pages to see more detailed sights . Is that a camera mark a photo spot? It appears the train will be making several stops along the line. Now the long-awaited meal arrives. A glimpse of a luxurious meal awaits . The logo is engraved on the box. It’s like an open kaiseki ryori (traditional Japanese kaiseki meal). There are roast beef and many small dishes, mainly vegetables. What is this? Chestnut rice . See the menu here. TOSACO beer 900 JPY. Thank you for seeing us off . The Niyodo River is so clear that it’s apparently nicknamed Niyodo BLUE. It ‘s ranked number one in Japan for water quality, and apparently sweetfish fishing is also thriving. Deep-fried saury , delicious. Ginkgo tempura , unique flavor . Pickled persimmon . Deep-fried taro , oh, taro! Domestic beef roast beef, delicious! 。 食べましたか、おいしいものしながらみんなでもおいしいもいいみたいだ。 English: Washing it down with beer was a luxurious experience . Eggplant and Shimanto rice pork stir- fried with miso, Chotaro shellfish and mushroom gratin. For the first time , I saw a cute welcoming train . We will stop here for 10 minutes. It’s a very beautiful landscape, with a picture of the moon painted on it . At Kusaka Station, cute children will welcome you . Kusaka Station. A row of local specialties are lined up at this station. The 10 minutes felt short. Even from the front, it has a cool design. The drum sounds to signal departure, so we head back. In addition to this sightseeing train, there are two other sightseeing trains in Shikoku. When we returned, the food was covered with a sheet. Thank you for seeing us off . Thank you to everyone on this train as well. Thank you for running over here (lol). The cover has the name of the train written on it. Chicken meatballs , well-seasoned and delicious. Sautéed salmon and maitake mushrooms. This is delicious! Seasonal vegetable stew. There seemed to be an event going on at the time, so thank you for seeing us off. Beautiful flowers in bloom. Chestnut rice, well-seasoned and delicious . Roast beef gratin . Chicken meatballs. Salmon. Thank you for the meal.帰りました。 English: It was delicious! On the monitor, a video light appeared that made it seem as if we were warping. A view appeared as if we were warping through time. A factory towering over the mountains. An after-meal dessert? Was it a Japanese sweet? A monaka? It was gone in an instant. Now we are traveling along the coast. A rural landscape? As the sea comes into view, the train slows down and we can see the Pacific Ocean. This is definitely a good photo spot – it might not be suitable for a private beach. The stones are rugged, so let’s just enjoy the scenery here. We are getting closer to the sea. It’s starting to feel more tropical – even from inside the car, the view is wonderful. This is what it looks like from a passenger’s perspective. Awa Station is counted as a station close to the sea. We stop here for a few minutes, so you can take pictures of the scenery and buy souvenirs. It’s time to depart. Thank you for seeing us off. We say goodbye to the sea and head to our destination, Kubokawa Station. I wonder if we can get the customary stamp here ! This was printed perfectly and beautifully. The back cover is also cool. I’m going to the toilet. The interior is full of stars. It’s very clean and has a washlet, which is great, so it’s safe even if you have children. I was doing various design things, and then the train departed from Tosakurei. Thank you for seeing me off. I received a commemorative boarding pass. A relaxing train trip with a heartwarming view is the best. The stars on the ceiling are beautiful. I arrived at Kubokawa Station. I found a rather interesting train. The interior of KUROFUNE. The interior of SORAFUNE. Both are stylish. I’m going to see the train from earlier. The yellow train was a trolley train from Kubokawa. Its distinctive feature is that you can feel the wind. I’d like to try riding it sometime. What did you think of this video? If you liked it, I would be very happy if you could rate it highly and subscribe to the channel . Thank you for watching until the end. See you in the next video.
