【佐渡島観光】佐渡島のグルメと観光を堪能するドライブ旅行が最高すぎた!佐渡島旅行vlog|たらい船|宿根木|矢島・経島|あめやの桟橋

A luxurious lunch! Everything tastes delicious! A mystical red bridge and promenade ! A straight pier that stands tall even against the rough waves! Addictive miso ramen! Beautiful countryside! Perfect for a grown-up’s summer vacation ! I never knew there was a place like this ! Good morning! This is bien! This time, I’m taking the Shinkansen and ferry to Sado Island, the largest remote island on Honshu. Apparently it’s larger than Tokyo’s 23 wards! Today, I’ll be focusing on the local area of Kuninaka-Minami-Sado and enjoying the food and sightseeing. Please read to the end! Since traveling from Omiya Station is faster and cheaper than Tokyo Station, I’ll start from Omiya Station again this time (it’s a downbound train, so the train was empty). First, I ‘ll hop on the Shinkansen and head to Niigata Station. It’s sunny in Tokyo, but apparently it’s raining in Niigata. It’ll take about an hour and 40 minutes to get from Omiya to Niigata . After arriving at Niigata Station, I’ll head to the port and take a boat to Sado Island, so I’ll have a long wait before lunchtime . It’s time for a bento lunch ! I’ve been wanting to try it for a while, but I haven’t had the #1 ranked chicken bento yet ! The chicken rice bento is horizontal, but the chicken rice is vertical. Looks delicious and easy to eat. This bento is irresistible for chicken lovers. This one also looks delicious. This one just looks normal and delicious. This one probably gives you the feeling of traveling more. The contents remind me of sports day when I was a child . Let’s start with the meat (failed imitation). Delicious. It tastes nostalgic. I ‘ve been traveling by plane a lot lately , so it’s been a while since I’ve been on the Shinkansen . I’m really sleepy. Actually , I was sleeping. We ‘re almost arriving at Niigata Station. We can get there by bus, but it looks like it’s going to rain, so we’ll take a taxi. It’s been a while since I’ve been to Niigata . Niigata Station is amazing! When we arrived, the sun started to shine. We wanted to defy the rain forecast, so we took a taxi to the port. It’s been exactly one year since it was registered as a World Heritage Site, and then, out of nowhere, it started raining. I wonder what’s going to happen next ! I got there really quickly by taxi and arrived in just over ten minutes, about 1,300 yen. There are various things on the third floor, I wonder if there are restaurants too. The ferry terminal was larger than I thought, with a food court and waiting room too. I should have eaten here instead of taking the Shinkansen lunch box lol. This time I prioritized travel time and headed by jetfoil. I arrived early with plenty of time, so I arrived an hour early and was bored so I decided to take a stroll. They’re open from 7am. Sado butter is said to be really delicious, but what I was curious about was this . I wonder if nagamo soba is good. Sado Dairy’s coffee is delicious. There’s also a restaurant at Ryotsu Port on Sado Island. This ramen looks delicious. And then it was time to board. All seats on the jetfoil are reserved, so it’s great that you can be sure to get a seat. The jetfoil boarding area looks like this. You scan the QR code on your boarding ticket and go through the gate. Finally, I’m heading to Sado Island for the first time in my life. I set off from Niigata Port to Ryotsu.帰りました。 English: It’s about an hour to Tsu Port. Is that a car ferry you can see in the background ? There are many seagulls in the sky. The current speed is 67km/h, but I don’t feel any rocking and I can sleep soundly. Arrived at Ryotsu Port on Sado Island. First I have to go get a rental car. There was also a photo spot. There were souvenir shops lined up. It was a really, really long bus. The taxi is on the left. This time the rental car is a little far. It was raining so it might be a bit dangerous. I walked from here. There seems to be a car share near that bridge. Arrived at Okesa Island, Sado Island . Sado Island is apparently the largest remote island in Japan (apparently by definition) , so traffic and driving should be fine. I discovered a long shopping street. It was really, really long. This shopping street looks like a street somewhere (perhaps Himi City, Toyama Prefecture). The first place I head to when I arrive at Sado Island is a sushi restaurant. I’m looking forward to it . When was the last time I went there? It was about five months ago in Niigata City. There I went to Kotobuki Sushi . I ate at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant , and the Sado silver salmon was delicious. The fish from Sado were really tasty, and since I’m on Sado Island this time, there’s a conveyor belt sushi restaurant about 10km from here . I’m expected to arrive after 11:30, so it will probably be quite crowded. Driving from Ryotsu Port was very easy, just go straight on Route 350. If you go left, you ‘ll reach Toki no Mori Park . It feels like you’re just going straight. The scenery hasn’t changed much lately. When I went to Niigata, the sushi and rice were delicious, but I ate it at a ramen restaurant. The rice in the char siu mayo bowl was really good. I wonder what it was, it was really delicious, I think. I set the bar high and thought it would be really delicious, but it’s still delicious (it exceeds expectations). The O-Sado Skyline. I think I’ll drive the O-Sado Skyline tomorrow. If you go left, you’ll find Sado City Hall. Is this the island’s center? The center . There are various things on this street. There’s also a hotel. I think it was near here . There’s a ramen restaurant and a sushi restaurant. I think there’s a supermarket too, and a dentist too, isn’t this it? Here we are, Sushiya Marui, and apparently this place is delicious. Arrived , it ‘s super crowded, quite crowded , Sushiya Marui . Apparently they don’t line up in front of the store, but you write your name, so we’ll wait 20-30 minutes, but we’ll eat! I’m looking forward to it, so we went inside. Miraculously, there was a table seat available, and when we got in, it was full, so we made it just in time . No, I’m wondering where to start, but I’ve already finished the bento I had on the Shinkansen, so I’ll eat a lot. Ordering is n’t done on a touch panel, but on a piece of paper like this, which you hand over . Today’s recommendations are here, and they all look delicious . Oh man, I ordered too much at once, it’s a sushi party now. Well, with this much, I’ll finish it in no time. Let’s eat, it’s delicious! What I ate earlier was yellowtail and yellowtail is really delicious. This is flounder. If what I ate earlier was yellowtail, then what is this? Is this an amberjack ?This is a flounder.Flounder.It’s delicious. The rice is really delicious. It’s too delicious.Sushi is the best after all.The horse mackerel is also delicious. This horse mackerel is also very good.Next I have the salmon. The menu didn’t have any expressions like Sado silver salmon or Sado salmon. It just said salmon, so I wonder if it’s from Sado. But it doesn’t have a Norwegian or similar flavor. It ‘s really delicious, so I think it’s probably from Sado (maybe not lol). The color of this luxurious plate is Nodoguro.Delicious ! The nodoguro is delicious! It’s so good! If you come here, you should definitely try it! I want to go back in winter! Everything is delicious! What’s more, the prices are surprisingly cheap! The fatty salmon came flowing by ! I ‘ll eat it right away! This is definitely delicious! Let’s eat! This was also really delicious, so I recommend it! I was also curious about the side dishes, so I enjoyed the chawanmushi, which was also delicious! The shellfish were also delicious! And as a side dish, I had the avocado shrimp ! Why do shrimp and avocado go so well together? The shrimp was really delicious! It was thick and amazing ! I had a second helping! The fatty salmon ! Wow, it’s shining! Seriously delicious ! I ate a lot! It might not be enough for two people to eat for lunch, but it was so delicious that we ate a lot! (Even though we ate a lot of sushi, it came out under 10,000 yen) Payment methods include cash, credit card, electronic money, and PayPay. Thank you for the meal! I thought the weather would improve while I was eating sushi, but instead it started raining! It turned into a tear-jerking downpour! 帰りました。 English: But there’s a theory that once this cloud passes, the rain will stop and the sky will clear up. It’s crazy, it’s raining like this on the first day of this trip. Rain or shine, sushi is still delicious (I’m going crazy from eating too much). Next, the weather is really bad, but there’s an area where you can take that tub boat and sightsee. So I’m heading to the southernmost area. It’s 28km from here, which will take about an hour. I thought the rain would stop in an hour, so I’ll take a gamble and go. Is this a major chain zone? There’s a Kitamura camera shop , Hanamaru Udon, Mister Donut , Aoyama Tsutaya clothing store, a big TSUTAYA , and a Book Off. It’s interesting to see a big Book Off. If you turn a little, the countryside will spread out before you. The view is amazing. The mountains and rain clouds are intimidating, but even so, the view is great. It ‘s really straight, and even in the rain, the countryside is beautiful . It’s amazing, it stretches so far . I’ve driven a few kilometers and am now 20km from my destination , but there are no convenience stores at all. It feels like a good old town. It goes on like this forever , but there are no convenience stores or anything, although a supermarket would be fine, and it’s a drive along the coast . It’s raining, but the scenery is pretty nice. I wonder if this is a restaurant? A guesthouse. Nagahama looks amazing. I discovered a photo spot, so I made a detour. The human-faced rock looks like a profile. Sado’s Moai statue says that its profile resembles that of Kakuei Tanaka, the prime minister born in Niigata Prefecture. It is now famous as the Sado Moai statue. Its birthday is about 20 million years ago, and it is made of stones created by volcanic activity. What an amazing view. I wonder if
they sell fruit directly ? I wonder if they have coffee, but it’s crowded. I’ll buy it here. I have no choice but to buy it here. There are already three vending machines . There seems to be quite a selection. I wonder if I should buy some fruit. Looks delicious. What a peaceful view. I bought some Kyoho grapes and a drink (I didn’t have any photo data for the Kyoho grapes, so that’s a tear). I went out to the coast for a bit. The amazing blue sea. Wow, what an amazing sea. It was beautiful, I could see the sign for the tub boat . 13km left. The area just before where the waves were crashing was a murky brown, but a little further in was beautiful, it was light blue . You can’t see it unless you look from above, but it was a little bit. There is a parking lot so I guess it’s more of a scenic spot or a view spot Perhaps there is construction and you can’t park There is construction and you have to climb the mountain again and head out towards the sea and it looks like a tub boat I’m heading towards Yajima, right? Kyojima Yajima direction Shukunegi direction There are several tub boats The rain has stopped Lucky lucky it’s 2km from here Should I go to Yajima Tourist Yajima Tourist place? There was a sign somewhere along the way that said the road would turn into a very narrow road So this is a left, this is a left Yajima Kyojima tub boat The rental car this time is a kei car so it’s a Wagon R so it’s easy to navigate narrow roads (the camera angle is really bad lol) Turn left and you ‘ll reach the tub boat dock It’s narrow here If an oncoming car comes it would definitely be impossible It probably won’t come Ah and here is the parking lot Wow amazing! There’s a bridge. They’re doing tub boats. Good , it looks like we can ride them. Good that the rain stopped just then. I’m so lucky, so lucky, nice . Our arrival port is in the north. It’s really far north, and this is the southernmost area , so it’s possible that it hasn’t rained here at all. Sado Island is so large , so the weather is completely different in the north and south. Okay, let’s get on before it rains. Let’s go and check in for now . It’s 700 yen per adult, and runs from 8am to 5pm (apparently there’s a break between 12pm and 1pm). Wow , what a nice atmosphere . Wow, it’s so beautiful, there are fish ! So, I’m going to take a ride on a tub boat, a specialty of Sado Island. By the way, tub boats are said to have evolved from a laundry tub invented at the beginning of the Meiji era , and have undergone repeated improvements to reach their current form. They were originally designed to be more stable, more maneuverable, and easier to operate than small boats, and are used to carry turban shells and abalone. 海底捕まるかも。 English: Apparently it’s used to harvest wakame seaweed. Apparently tourist tub boats are made a size larger than the tub boats actually used for fishing (although this may depend on the company). Beyond this unique bridge are Yajima and Kyojima . Yajima is a producer of high-quality arrow bamboo, and it’s said that the arrows used to defeat the Nue in the Tale of the Heike were also produced on Yajima. Kyojima was named Kyojima after a Nichiren sect man named Nichio who was caught in a storm and washed ashore here , chanting sutras all night (there are various theories). Ah! You can go all the way over there, you can cross all the way there. It was extremely shaky when we got on, but now time is passing by at a leisurely pace. Apparently you can go all the way around Kyojima. For now, let’s take a walk while the weather’s nice . What an incredible dungeon. Wow, perfect for post-dinner exercise. I was right to come here after eating sushi. Let ‘s walk here a bit to burn off some calories. The angle is quite steep, or rather the arch is high. This bridge is amazing. The promenade is like this and a little narrow, but it’s well maintained and very easy to walk on. This is Yajima, and beyond that is Kyojima? Wow, this is great, I feel like I’ve been waiting for a promenade like this. Today is the end of August and it’s a little hot with the sun, but the breeze is cool so although I do sweat a little, it’s still quite comfortable. Name: Natural Monument Yajima Kyojima The sun has come out and it ‘s getting hotter I wonder if I can go all the way around and come back the other way but it’s much easier to walk around and it ‘s nice. I wonder if you could go this way in the past. There are stairs here and it doesn’t say no entry but maybe it’s better not to go. Cross this and head towards the parking lot? Traces of the Great Earthquake Yajima and Kyojima are connected, but are they still called islands? The reason for this is related to the great earthquake. Previously, they were independent islands, but the 1802 earthquake caused the earth to rise and the two islands became connected. Nearby, you can see a former flat seabed called the uplifted wave-cut platform. The rise of the seabed has created more shallow waters, and the maneuverable tub boats have become popular. It doesn’t look like it’s going to rain anytime soon , so maybe I should check out the next tourist spot. If I look at the bridge from across from here and zoom in, I should be able to get a good shot. Looking at it like this, it’s quite a steep arch. Wow, it’s kind of humid here. I wonder if there are any snakes or anything. It’s an incredible road indeed. I wonder if I can just go through it like this . Wow,
there are really sea lice from start to finish. They’re huge. Bigger than my thumb. It was so much fun . Wow, that tub boat ride was quite a rare experience. That’s not a kitten . So cute , so tiny. Oh, it ran away. Next , about 2km from here there is a nice old townscape, so let’s go see that. Where am I now ? The origin of the name is unclear , and it’s a very strange name , as the road from the sea is the most common way to enter Shukunegi, and people heading from the coast to the shrines and temples deep in the village always pass through Sesute Koji. Conversely, spirits leaving the temples pass through here to say goodbye to the village. Suddenly, there ‘s something spiritual about it. I’m here in Shukunegi. This area has been designated as a traditional buildings preservation district. Apparently it was the 30th such district in the country in 1991 . : It seems that Shukunegi was at its most prosperous from the late Edo period to the early Meiji period. At that time, almost all villagers were involved in the shipping industry, and it developed a unique townscape and culture. I wonder if this was the only place with a different color. This is one of the few Western-style buildings built in 1921. It has a nice atmosphere. It’s very comfortable. It’s cool and the atmosphere is nice. I don’t know why, but I feel like I’ve come home . I walked all the way to the shrine, which is not around here. There is a very mysterious atmosphere. These stairs are amazing. The sound of cicadas suits the scenery. From around the middle of the Edo period, the population of Shukunegi steadily increased. There was a water shortage, and well water was scarce, so this communal well was used. Life in Shukunegi . This is unbelievable . And if you go straight, you will reach the parking lot. This is a recommended spot for people who like to walk. The atmosphere was amazing. It’s sunny now. I ‘m so glad the heavy rain from earlier has stopped like it was a lie. Thank you. Shukunegi is completely different. The sun is shining and it’s so vibrant. Next up is the lighthouse, about 3km from here, so let’s go and see what it’s like. We cross the bridge. Wow , what a really amazing view. There’s a footpath and stairs here, but it’s got a no-entry tape on it. I bet you could go down here until recently. Amazing, just looking at it from above is enough. The lighthouse is over there, and you can enter by walking along this narrow road, but it’s nice to see it from above like this. There was a parking space here, so I parked here and walked. There did n’t seem to be any vending machines near the lighthouse, so I went back around here. There was a vending machine nearby, so I’ll go buy some water. We’ve arrived at the Sawasaki Lighthouse . Wow, all I can see in the distance is the horizon. Ah, it ‘s nice. The breeze is cool , and the gravel road is quite nice. The Okanohira Ruins, a Sado City designated monument, were ruins. Going further in, we arrive at the lighthouse. It’s huge , I don’t know if it has a particularly good view or anything, but the grass is so overgrown you can’t see it. Sado Island 間と一緒にお散歩徒歩2分です 。 English: This is the westernmost lighthouse. It was built on November 21, 1928 and stands here. Today, I came from Niigata Port to Ryotsu Port, rented a car, had sushi around here , and then took a boat to the lighthouse. It’s so peaceful. It doesn’t look like an animal trail here. Has anyone been here? There are traces of someone walking. I wonder what it is , walking from here . Is this a fishing spot? It’s pretty high up. Just now, amazing . The next is the view spot, which is probably the same place as before. What I just saw was on the left, and there was something written on Google Maps. Isn’t this rock? Is there really no sign here ? It’s a mysterious view. Giraffe Rock. Isn’t this pattern supposed to look like a giraffe? Looking at it like this , it does look like a giraffe pattern. This
concrete thing looks like it’s been artificially filled in . I wonder what it is. Amazing. The horizon stretches out straight ahead . Is it pronounced Manjojiki instead of Senjojiki? There is a spot called this , so after seeing it, I continued on for a drive along the coast , taking in the spectacular view as I drove around the coast and returned to the city, or rather the area where the hotel is.The view is really amazing, I think I’ll just drive along the coast for now.I arrived at the port. The road doesn’t look that narrow and there doesn’t seem to be any oncoming traffic, so I think it’ll be fine.Looking at the map again , I see that the road continues all the way along the coast, wow this is really nice, it’s quite a hidden driving spot, wow it looks like there might be falling rocks or something, it’s scary. Has there been a landslide here? 帰りました。 English : Is it safe to go on? Oh, is this okay ? Oh, is it okay ? I thought it would always be that narrow, but after going a little further, I came out onto the coast again. It seems like there’s a road closure somewhere. So no vehicles are allowed up ahead. Wow, what a view . Apparently there’s a spectacular bus stop around here. Wow, have I passed a place like this before ? It’s completely different from before. You can see quite far away. We’ve arrived. This is called the Seai bus stop. It looks somewhat similar to Shimonada Station in Ehime Prefecture, Shikoku. The atmosphere of the sea visible in the distance and the mountains visible beyond that is amazing. I’m really glad it’s a sunny day . There was surprisingly a lot of traffic, so it was difficult to take a commemorative photo . There’s a traffic light nearby, so I can cross, but it was easier to capture the whole picture from here. Although I said that, I decided to cross since I was there. This is a rare type of bus stop I’ve never seen in the area where I live. It ‘s really crowded. After checking in and tidying up a bit, it’s time for dinner. This is a new hotel. Tonight’s hotel is a travel hotel. A three-day, two-night trip to Sado Island. I’ll be staying at this hotel for two nights. Looking closely, I saw a row of tiny crested ibises. So I checked into the hotel. This time, I got a twin room. It’s a really new hotel. This combination of colored outlets and USB ports is typical of new hotels . There are three outlets in a twin room. And what’s this? I wonder if it’s a type of air purifier I’ve never seen before. Amenities are usually in the room, as usual. There’s a refrigerator and a kettle. Oh, the view is great. You can see the mountains and rice fields in the distance . It’s a bit strange without the naked eye. Looking into the distance, it’s really beautiful . The setting sun is dazzling. Tonight’s dinner is ramen. I found a ramen place that caught my eye , but it’s crowded (around 5pm). I arrived. Tonight’s dinner is ramen. It’s Nari. The most popular is apparently miso ramen. They also have a variety of other ramen. At first I was interested in the garlic spicy miso and the rich, thick dandan noodles, but this time I ordered the rich miso ramen shown on the bottom left. Speaking of Niigata, it would be a waste not to try the rice, so I also ordered this pork rice. My order arrived and it looks really delicious. The texture of the soup and the noodles are like this. Actually, there are several ramen shops around here and I was wondering where to go, but I was right to come here. It’s really delicious . It was just what I wanted to eat. Lately I’ve been into spicy miso ramen . I like dandan noodles and this is exactly what I wanted. It was just the taste I liked. It was really delicious. Thank you for the meal . The ramen was delicious. There were just two of us, so I thought it would take a while for the food to be served as we were a little rushed but it came out surprisingly quickly and was quite surprisingly fast. They were really efficient (there might have been a third person lol). The turnover was fast and it was delicious. It was like a hybrid of dandan noodles and spicy miso, it had the sesame flavor of dandan noodles but also the flavor of miso ramen, it was like spicy spicy miso but the soup was really smooth. It was smooth but not particularly bland. In fact the noodles were a little firm which was good. When we entered the restaurant it was busy so I thought it would take a while but we finished eating in no time and it looks like we’ll make it in time for the sunset so I ‘m not sure if we’ll be able to see it but I think we’ll go see it anyway. Sawada Beach? : There’s a popular beach with a pier that’s a great photo spot, so I’m heading there. It might be crowded with couples. Here we come, the ocean is in sight. Oh no! Which way is the parking lot? Left or right? I can’t tell which way is the parking lot. There’s the pier, it’s crowded. The pier is crowded. Well, that makes sense. The rain has stopped, so I ‘ve found a parking lot. Oh well, it’s just in time . I can’t see the sunset, but I managed to get there at a good time. We’ve arrived . Sawada Beach. This is a swimming beach, huh? It feels like the waves are coming in pretty quickly. The waves are surprisingly rough. It’s crowded. The pier is crowded , so maybe I’ll wait until the commemorative photo shoot is over . I’ve come at an indescribable, perfect time. You can see a little bit of the moon, and it’s beautiful. It’s hidden by the clouds, so you can’t see the sunset, but it ‘s a little scary. This is a little scary. This pier. What’s under my feet ? It’s really scary. I’m afraid I might get wet. I might get wet, it’s scary, it’s scarier than I imagined . The waves are closer. Look, there’s a pillar here, splashing. It makes me feel a sense of fear that I can’t describe, it feels strangely scary, oh, it’s so amazing, a crescent moon , a crescent moon , and I was wondering, is this a local supermarket ? It’s a local supermarket, isn’t it? Maybe Matsuya Matsuya isn’t a national chain, right? Maybe it’s just Matsuya, I’m just going out for that grocery shopping, I’ll take a look. It says fresh, so I wonder if they have sashimi or something, they ‘re out at this time, aren’t they? Fresh Matsuya Supermarket And today is my partner’s birthday, so I made a reservation in advance and had them make a cake (from a local cake shop) . It’s amazing, I don’t know what the design is, but it’s such an amazing peace sign, it’s the first time I’ve ever seen a cake that makes peace signs, and from the first day of our three-day, two-night trip to Sado Island, we were able to enjoy the luxury from morning to night, and tomorrow, first thing in the morning, we’re going to the World Heritage Site, Sado Gold Mine, so please take this opportunity to subscribe to my channel and look forward to the next video. Thank you for watching

  2. 海岸にあるコンクリートの平板は海苔畑ですね
    冬になると岩海苔の胞子が付着して成長するので自然の岩から収穫するのに比べ量も採れるし収穫作業も楽なので集落毎に管理しています
