真名川 と 古き良き夏の風景 │ Long lost summer – Good old rural scenery
[Music] [Applause] [Music] had a good thing going then laid it all down. It’s been 500 days since I left town. And I don’t remember why I drove away. Knowing that I want you back someday. I’m tired of this single c with a long bed. Just a single man going nowhere. grown weary of all the sun set, all the yellows and orange and red. The long drives on an open road in the Sunday afternoon. I’m tired of living this beautiful life without you. without you. [Music] I wish you were there for that desert ride and watch how the stars lit up the night. I’ve seen things you’ve seen in a dream. Oh, but they turn to nightmares when you’re not with me. 2025年は世界各地で「史上最も暑い夏」を記録しました。ここ日本も例外ではなく、時に40度を越える過酷な暑さはまさに気候変動の始まりを感じさせるものであり、もはや私達が過去に過ごしてきた「夏の風情」は古き良き思い出になりつつあります。今回そんな古き良き夏の風情を求めて、8月上旬に福井県大野市の真名川と田園風景を撮影しました。この地は荒島岳を目指す登山者が多く訪れますが、その麓にある佐開集落の荒島神社を訪れる人はほぼ誰もいません。
The year 2025 was the hottest summer on record in many parts of the world. Japan was no exception, and the extreme heat, sometimes exceeding 40 degrees Celsius, signaled the beginning of climate change. The “summer atmosphere” we experienced in the past is now becoming a fond memory. This time, in search of that good old summer atmosphere, I photographed the Mana River and rural landscape in Fukui in early August.

I love visiting Japan in summer and fishing in Daisen region of Tottori for Iwana and Yamame on the fly. This season was the hottest ever, but it is so green and beautiful and such clear water. Your wonderful videos make me miss Japan so much! ありがとうございます😊
