【座間 観光】真夏のドライブ🚗そうだ!ヒマワリを見に行こう😄 55万本の座間ひまわり畑🌻と夏でも涼しい塩川滝💧《ドライブ》【神奈川観光】【神奈川県】Vol.161 [SUB/4K]

Hello! This is E-Ma. We recently welcomed our Every Wagon into our home, and as of today, it’s a member of our family! (*’▽’) Let’s go for a drive! (*’▽’) Moving forward, following our “Typical XX Trip” and “Typical XX Walk,” we’ll be occasionally releasing a new series, “Typical XX Drive.” We hope you’ll enjoy it! <(_ _)> The reason we bought a car was because we wanted to sleep in it! (*’▽’) By driving close to our destination the night before and sleeping in the car, we could make the most of our time. We could even start sightseeing in the morning on the first day of our trip! (≧▽≦) So, we searched for a car suitable for sleeping in. The “Every Wagon High Roof 4WD” was the perfect choice for us! (´ー`) In the future, I’d like to introduce interior features to make your stay even more comfortable. Now that we’ve bought a car, I want to drive it myself… but the truth is, I haven’t driven in about 20 years, so I’m a total novice driver! (._.) I was shocked just recently to discover that there was no keyhole to insert the key into when starting the engine (/ω\). I don’t have time to sing loudly in the passenger seat (^_^;). I’d like to practice driving little by little (´ー`). I’m currently driving in Zama City, Kanagawa Prefecture. The road runs along the bank of the Sagami River. This time, I’ll be driving around Zama City and sightseeing. I arrived at my first destination, the parking lot. A cat (≧▽≦). It looks even more cat-like from afar (´ー`). It was the height of summer when I visited. Zama City is famous for its sunflower fields, a summer flower (´ー`). I also enjoy going to see seasonal flowers, so I was looking forward to it (*’▽’). The sunflower fields were spectacular (≧▽≦). Approximately 550,000 sunflowers all facing me at once (/ω\). As one of the largest sunflower fields in the Tokyo metropolitan area, it was an amazing sight (´ー`). There was also a swing that made a great photo spot. There was even a bell, our favorite! (*’▽’). It was as vibrant as the summer sun. I felt like I received a lot of energy from it! (´ー`). If you’re planning on going next year, I recommend going early in the morning! (´ー`). My white sneakers turned brown from the dirt as I walked through the fields! (^_^;) I don’t recommend wearing sandals. Our next stop was the neighboring city of Sagamihara, but there was something that caught our eye, so we decided to check it out. “Renge no Sato Araiso.” We came to see the facilities housed in this building. The “Sagami Giant Kite” is a traditional Sagamihara event that dates back to the late Edo period, over 200 years ago. The giant kite displayed here is the size of 88 tatami mats. The kite flown every May is said to be as large as 128 tatami mats. I’d love to see them being flown! (´ー`). In 2001, a giant kite measuring 210 tatami mats was successfully flown. Apparently, the Sagami Giant Kite is the largest kite flying festival in Japan. Got a stamp! Next, I headed to a shrine. This is the parking lot. Zama Shrine is a shrine that grants blessings such as good health, recovery from illness, and longevity. It’s a long staircase with 77 steps. In the spring, the Hinamatsuri (Doll Festival) event is held, and about 1,000 Hina dolls are lined up on the steps. (´ー`) Recently, a new Japanese custom called “summer pilgrimage” has become popular. People visit after July 1st, the halfway point of the year. It’s a way to give thanks for the past six months and pray for peace in the remaining six months. “Dog and Cat Shrine”? This is a rare shrine in Japan where you can bring your pets. It’s said to grant your pet good health, longevity, and good health. Rubbing this statue is said to grant your wish. (´ー`) A stone statue that looks like a Shiba Inu. Right, a cat? (;・∀・). I was hungry after being active since early morning. I hadn’t decided where to eat at all… I was searching on my way to my next destination. I saw a nice-looking place, so I decided to stop in. It might sound rude, but… I was surprised to find such a lovely cafe in such a remote location. (*’▽’) The drink set included a cola and iced coffee. A chicken ham and smoked cheese sandwich for 700 yen. A salad pizza with plenty of vegetables and homemade smoked cheese for 1100 yen. A special dessert plate for 700 yen. Everything was so delicious, I’d love to go back again, even though it’s a bit far. (*’▽’) The relaxed atmosphere was also nice. I found a wonderful restaurant. (*’▽’) Now, I’m off to my final destination for the day: the scenic Shiokawa Falls. A gravel road continues beyond the stone monument. It’s a mountain path that makes you wonder if you’re on the right path. I can see the parking lot. (*’▽’) From here, I’ll walk to the falls. Before going to the falls, I’ll head up the stairs to a shrine. The sunlight, combined with the scenery, makes it seem divine. (´-`*) It’s very cool here, making it the perfect tourist spot for summer (´ー`). The waterfall is a two or three minute walk from the parking lot. Shiokawa Falls is 4 meters wide and has a drop of about 15 meters. It’s even more impressive than I expected (*’▽’). You can see the waterfall from so close that the spray hits you. You’ll be soaking up negative ions (≧▽≦). This summer resort is about an hour’s drive from Tokyo. The autumn leaves are also beautiful. This waterfall is easy to see even for those who aren’t good at walking. It’s a recommended tourist spot (´ー`). This was my first driving tour in my own car, so I hope you enjoyed it. I hope this video was helpful to you. If you liked it, please click the good button and subscribe to the channel! I look forward to your comments and feedback (´ー`). Thank you for watching until the end. See you in the next video (^_^)/~
