Hello, this is Tabibubu. Today, I’m heading to Fukushima Prefecture! I’m staying at an inn with hot spring rooms, a large public bath, and free private baths, allowing you to fully enjoy the hot springs.♨️ Please enjoy until the very end!✨ I’ve arrived at Iizaka Onsen Station, the closest station to the hotel! The Surikami River flows in front of the station, offering a tranquil view of the hot spring town. Apparently, Iizaka Onsen is the first place in Japan where radium was discovered. While you’re there, try the local specialty, “radium eggs.” I’d love to try it! 😚 And we also took a quick look around the nearby “Hanamomo no Sato” (Peach Village). The flowers weren’t in full bloom when we took this photo in early April, but they were still soothing. (*´ω｀*) And here’s the hotel where we’ll be staying tonight…! “Itoen Hotel Iizaka” “Kanaya” The lobby looks like this It’s very spacious! (*ﾟ0ﾟ) Looking out the window, you can see the Surikami River flowing below. Souvenir shop They also sell gelato. Now it’s time to head to dinner♪ I arrived about 10 minutes before opening, but there was already a line… (ﾟдﾟ) This is what the venue looks like! It’s spacious. There weren’t many sushi options, but I was happy to see salmon. Pork stew The pork was tender and the seasoning was delicious. There were two types of fried chicken, but this Tatsuta-age-style batter was crispy and delicious. 😋 Sashimi platter The albacore tuna was especially delicious. 🐟️ They also have mackerel. Crunchy soup The ingredients are finely chopped, making it easy to eat, and the rich flavor makes it a perfect match with rice. Chawanmushi And we also had dessert. The “Mikan Tart” has a simple, rustic flavor and is simply delicious 🍊 Chocolate Fondue Sweet and delicious when served in mini choux pastries And then there’s the milk bar The refreshing flavor makes it the perfect finale! Thanks for the meal 😊 I’m full! It was incredibly delicious! ✨ We have a karaoke reservation after this, so we’ll move on again. You can borrow a microphone at the front desk at your reserved time. Our room was the “Bacchus” room on the left. The inside is spacious, like this. It’s perfect for burning calories after a meal. Then we returned to our room and enjoyed another soak in the hot springs. ♨️ The water is so slippery, it must be good for my skin (*´ω｀*) Now that I’m refreshed from the day, it’s time to go to bed. 😴 Well, good night.
