Next, head to Shirahige Falls. As the water flows into the pool at the bottom, it turns cobalt blue. Back at the pension for breakfast. A fresh, healthy breakfast. The milk is rich and delicious. This is the girl I’ve been wanting to meet. I asked for permission to meet you. I’d like to come back in winter next time. Thank you very much. A leisurely drive until lunchtime. Biei has many famous scenic spots. The Seven Star Tree and the Ken and Mary Tree. Mild Seven Hill, etc. In fact, there are many other scenic spots only known to locals. A tour of these hidden gems. When you think of summer in Hokkaido, you think of the vast expanses of lavender. Although it can’t compare to the famous farms in Furano, Biei also has Lots of beautiful lavender fields. No crowds, lots of great photo spots. I just dropped in, and it was a great decision. I unexpectedly encountered a beautiful view. A sweets shop with a Hokkaido vibe. I went to a glass workshop recommended by the innkeeper. Thanks to the kindness of the host, I was able to see the glass being made. Craftsmen are so cool. Apparently, he’s been in the business for 40 years. He was concentrating while he was making his craft. After he finished, he was very friendly and chatted with me. I also bought some souvenirs. It was a fun time. A herb shop run by someone who trained in France for eight years They blend herbs to suit each individual taste. I learned about this at the glass workshop we visited earlier. There are many herbs on display. They also sell blends. For myself and as a souvenir. There are lots of raspberries here. They said I could eat as many as I wanted. They were sweet and sour and delicious. Herbal sweets. I ate them on a bench outside. It really helped me recover from the fatigue of my journey.
