  4. This is a wonderful video. I lived in Thailand for 18 years and loved it. Now I am thinking about a visit to Mexico sometime in the Spring. I like to Thank you both for this great video.
What is the best method to find a place to live for a long or short stay?

  5. You look so happy and relaxed and that's the whole idea of living in a warm beautiful country, very informative video to watch 👌

  6. This video makes me miss Puerto Vallarta, I was just there in November for vacation, and it was amazing, great weather, great people, great food, and all within walking distance. I am seriously considering a move, but I am still working, so a lot of things to work out. This video was super helpful !

  7. Francine I am coming up on January 20 2023 wondering if I could meet up with you I would like to rent something for January February of 2024 and set it all up.please contact me.

  8. How far will $500,000 and $4,000 a month pension get me?
I'm looking for 3/4 acre to 1 1/2 acre with a decent 2-3 bedroom house.

  9. Hi Francine. Could you talk about the quality of medical services, especially for older folks and the usual insurance coverage? Also how people obtain residency? Thank you.

  10. Francine, how do you deal with the issue of high humidity in Puerto Vallarta that apparently exists year round (as compared say to NY where it exists only 3 months in the summer)? I assume air conditioners are available, but they don't exist outside. 😉 Thanks.

  11. Hi Francine. I've been living in Mexico for six years, mainly (and currently) in San Cristobal de las Casas, with one year in Oaxaca and 3 months in Mexico City. I'm ready for some warm weather. I'm planning to move to PV in March and I'm looking for a place to rent. My budget is the same as yours. I'm used to (and prefer) living with and like the locals. I don't need or or want a fancy condo with all the amenities. I'm trying to find a place to rent in PV but FB Marketplace has a price filter but doesn't have a filter to see prices in USD or MXN. There's a huge difference between MXN 10,000 and USD 10,000 a month. Can you help me? Thank you.

  12. A way to adapt to the country is learning their language, even if it's not necessary in a particular town. It's a form of respect for the locals and it opens up another world knowing a different language, so it's beneficial.

  13. Francine, what might be the most common quality private health insurance companies people use? Do people who acquire the permanen retirement residency visa and card use both the government system and a private plan if the private plans are so much better for complicated issues like BP, glucose, cholesterol, and even rougher issues?

  14. I am a 64 years old Canadian and thinking to come to Puerto Vallarta permanently, so I like yours all documentary that you made in Puerto Vallarta Mexico, and it helps me to mature my thinking to be an expat in Puerto Vallarta Mexico, specially that you introduced some lady expets from US, any way thank you very much.

  15. A totally beautiful video. So informative and cool at the same time. Great job!

  16. I enjoyed this video! Very well done. La senora was very down to earth. Not patronizing, nor snobbish. You can see her love for the Mexican people is genuine, and they see it too!
