【1min. drone #310】群馬県中之条町・旧太子駅～鉄鉱石の搬出駅～
群馬県中之条町の旧太子（おおし）駅。鉄鉱石を運ぶ専用線として昭和20年に開業し、46年に廃線となりました。駅の隣にある石の構造物はホッパー棟と呼ばれるものです。屋根に穴が開いているのは、屋根のない車両に上から鉄鉱石を投入するためです。隣には当時使用された屋根のない車両も展示されています。
The former Oshi Station in Nakanojo Town, Gunma Prefecture. It opened in 1945 as a dedicated railway for transporting iron ore, but it was closed in 1971. The stone structure next to the station is called a hopper building. The holes in the roof were made for iron ore loaded into the open-top carriages from above. An open-top carriage that was used at the time is also on display next to it.
