This is Tsuyopon, and I’m currently driving around Kirishima in Kagoshima Prefecture.Unfortunately , it’s raining, so the weather isn’t ideal for enjoying sightseeing in Kirishima, but I feel refreshed! The reason is that this hotel opened on August 16, 2025! I’m staying at “The Pulse Kirishima.” The hotel is located about 35 minutes by car from Kagoshima Airport and about 10 minutes from Kirishima-Jingu Station. It offers views of the Kirishima Mountains and Sakurajima, as well as being close to Kirishima Shrine, a national treasure and one of Kyushu’s most famous power spots. Before arriving at the hotel, I’ll stop by one of Kirishima’s tourist attractions: Maruo Falls, a hot spring waterfall. Maruo Falls’ water volume increases when it rains, making it even more impressive. The roads around Kirishima Onsen are very relaxing. Arriving at the hotel, I check in. The front desk is very open and lovely. First, I complete the check-in process. The front desk confirms my reservation details and signs if there are no errors. At this time, I also pay a separate bathing tax. I was issued two room cards. Amenities: It’s easy to forget these when checking in, but you can select the amenities you need and have them delivered to your room.
