【岩手旅行】遠野・日本の原風景に出会う旅|絶品グルメと昔話の世界にタイムスリップできる不思議な街が魅力的だった
Tono , a town where the nostalgic scenery of Japan remains, is a journey through Japan’s hometown, where beautiful Satoyama scenery and numerous folk tales remain. Tono City, Iwate Prefecture, is a folk tale village where traditional Japanese scenery remains. The publication of Tono Monogatari over 100 years ago has brought Tono to national attention as a folk tale village, and the existence of monsters is still passed down in Tono. The Tono Monogatari Museum is an experiential facility where you can enjoy the local folk tales through images and sounds. It says “A man in heaven ,” so the story is in heaven. Although the facility itself is small, we were able to learn about Tono’s folk tales in an enjoyable way through various exhibits and videos. Anbe is a restaurant that is said to be the originator of Jingisukan, a dish that is widely loved in Tono. This time, we tried the tasting set, where you can taste a little bit of different cuts of meat. All the meat we ordered was very tasty and had little odor. By the way, the day we went, there was a 120-minute wait! It’s a popular restaurant, so if you have plans, I recommend making a reservation in advance. We visited Denshoen, a place where you can experience the world of folklore from the Tono region. At Denshoen, you can see the Nambu Magari-ya and Oshiradou, where you can sense the presence of Zashiki Warashi spirits. Oshirasama is often worshipped in Tono homes . Long ago, a farmer’s daughter fell in love with a horse and married it. When her father realized this, he took the horse and killed it. The grieving daughter ascended to heaven with the dead horse. Since then, Oshirasama has been worshipped in Tono as the god of horses and agriculture, as well as the guardian deity of the home. Tono is a mysterious place where you feel like you might encounter a god somewhere. There ‘s this shrine standing alone in the middle of a rice field. It’s now one of Tono’s most famous tourist spots. It’s especially famous for the upside-down reflection of Arajin Shrine, which can only be seen when the rice fields are flooded with water at the start of rice planting . The golden ears of rice surround Arajin Shrine. Did you read that? Google? Google says water collects here and it reflects upside down. When the water fills the rice paddies, Arajin Shrine is reflected in the rice paddies, which is what it’s famous for. Apparently Tono was a mysterious and beautiful town. That ‘s right. I didn’t actually live in that era, but being Japanese, I crave things like this. It really does reside in our hearts . Our hometowns, each of us has a spiritual home. LOL . What a clever statement. My spiritual home was in Tono. We’re going kappa hunting now. It’s just after 5pm , so the kappas must be hungry, right? That’s right , this might be a good time to hunt kappa. Let’s try fishing one with a cucumber. The water is so clear. Apparently kappas only live in places with clean water. By the way, here we go ! I ‘ve got a kappa capture permit. I don’t have this capture permit, so without it I can’t catch a kappa, so I’ll fish, but you know , I ‘m not an official hunter , so without a permit people will wonder if it’s really a kappa? By the way, there’s a whopping 10 million yen bounty on the kappa! I want to capture it no matter what. What do you think ? This cucumber absorbs water and becomes really heavy, but it absorbs water and becomes really heavy, but is there a kappa? Yes , it might be a little tough, it might be a little tough today, we’re on holiday, aren’t we? Kappa, in a sense , the kappa you can catch here are for business, aren’t they? I think they’re probably on holiday, I think they’re on holiday, so maybe it’s a kappa? Maybe it ‘s a kappa? Why did I say it twice , maybe it’s that, kappa, it’s a holiday today, it’s a holiday today, there may still be kappa in Tono, where many folk tales are handed down Thank you for reading this far
