#9-2 Ooiso (Ninomiya To Kouzu) 🍀Walking Japan🌸Tokaido 53 大磯宿(二宮~国府津)大磯コネクト再訪 東海道53次✨

Just a little bit more to Odawara-juku From Ninomiya to Kozu The coast of Kanagawa Prefecture is
beautiful! Start from Ninomiya Station. Nice to see you again, Toshiko from the
Glass Rabbit. I really like the Shonan cookies from the
cookie vending machine. The pine trees remain. Let me digress here. Azuma Shrine Torii Yamani Soy Sauce Brewery A long-established soy sauce brewery
founded in 1842 Passing the stone monument of Umezawa
Bridge, Walking through the park, We arrived at Ozawa Temple. To Togakuin Temple There is an old wisteria tree designated
as a natural monument by the town, and in spring the purple and white flowers bloom
beautifully. Cast in 1631, it is the oldest bell in
Ninomiya Town! There are over 43 Dosojin statues in
Ninomiya Town, and there are many traces of folk beliefs that have continued since
the Edo period. milestone Back onto the side road. Matsuya Honjin is a stopover inn located
between Oiso-juku and Odawara-juku on the Tokaido. The records of visits by feudal lords and
envoys are recorded in detail in the records, and the records are designated
as an important cultural property by Ninomiya Town. Is this a well? A cute, male-female dual Dososhin. A lot of fish came near by, mistaking it
for feeding! Entering Odawara City! You can see the ocean in the distance and
it’s beautiful! I will visit Sengen Shrine. I like the dragon carvings. Scenic spot, Kurumazaka. A wonderful
view. It frees the mind. The name “Kurumazaka” is thought to come
from the steep slope that made it difficult for carts to pass
through. Poems by Ota Dokan, Minamoto no Sanetomo,
and Kitabayashi Zenni (a female poet from the mid-Kamakura period)
were displayed. The old storehouse remains. This is a very old Dososhin. It has been
worn down. Go through the tunnel to Jonenji Temple By chance, the priest showed me inside
the hall. This is a new temple that has been
recently rebuilt. An old-fashioned building. I went to the beach. What a sense of
freedom! It’s not a tourist spot, so there’s no
one there! It’s soothing. It’s black sand. You can see Odawara. Lots of round stones. In front of Kozu Station. This building is a signboard building
from around 1935 and is designated as a nationally registered tangible cultural
property. I’m at Kobeya Bakery now. I bought some
sweet orange bread! These are sweet oranges from Odawara.
They look delicious. The bento shop also looks delicious. Your Tokaido journey ends here. Since we’ve come all this way, we decided
to go back to Oiso and have dinner. I couldn’t go to Shigitatei last time, so
I’m going to take a break. They all look delicious. A retro and calm space that is very
relaxing. I made a lemon cake. It’s very delicious. The coffee is also strong. It was delicious! It’s a nostalgic
restaurant. Elizabeth Sanders Home. It was founded by Miki Sawada
(granddaughter of Yataro Iwasaki, founder of the Mitsubishi zaibatsu). It is said to be a facility that cared
for mixed-race orphans after the war. I revisited Oiso Connect, which I visited
last time. Apparently, there is a poor catch of raw
whitebait when the waves are high. This restaurant has a great view. Stylish interior. Oiso Classic Beer The label has a Taisho Roman style. The manufacturer is Kumazawa Sake Brewery
(founded in 1872), the only brewery in Shonan. I ordered fish and chips, which went
perfectly with the beer. It’s really hot. Thinner French fries than McDonald’s. It was very hot. Full of fresh seafood. Fresh fish is sold below the restaurant. Fresh and great value. String is the best! This Kudzu BAR is really delicious. I ended up at Inoue Kamaboko Shop again. Shinkine is a long-established Japanese
confectionery shop founded in 1891. Here I bought the famous Saigyo manju. This is the end of our journey. Thank you
for watching.

【About Tokaido】
I will take on the 53rd Tokaido challenge.
There are also detours along the way.
I would like to proceed slowly and comfortably.
I’m interested in historical remains.
There are many temples and shrines with high historical value.
There are various temples and shrines. Rather than asking the gods and Buddhas to grant my wishes, I speak to them, asking them to watch over my efforts and to keep an eye on the vow I’ve made to work hard. Without effort, there is no progress.
Try visiting the shrines and temples, have the gods and Buddha on your side.
