【湘南1Dayツアー】青春が似合う江ノ電旅|藤沢から極楽寺、そして記念日の七里ヶ浜へ
A Youthful Ride on the Enoden Line
From Fujisawa to Gokurakuji, and a Special Anniversary in Shichirigahama Today I bought a one-day Enoshima Electric Railway pass in Fujisawa and decided to go on a little trip. The Enoshima Electric Railway is a streetcar that runs through the Shonan area from Fujisawa to Kamakura. The train is used by people sightseeing in Shonan, but it is also used by people who live in Shonan for their daily lives. The Enoshima Electric Railway runs through narrow alleys lined with private houses. Enoshima is almost here. Today, I decided to get off at Kamakura High School, the next station after Enoshima. You can see the Shonan Sea and Enoshima from the platform in front of Kamakura High School. Kamakura High School is the setting for the anime “Slam Dunk.” The red-haired protagonist, Sakuragi Hanamichi, is waiting for the Enoshima Electric Railway in front of a railroad crossing, carrying a flattened school bag on his shoulder. I went to a place where I could relive that page of my youth. The sound of a railroad crossing rang out as the Enoshima Electric Railway passed by. Return to the platform in front of Kamakura High School and board the Enoshima Electric Railway again. You can get a beautiful view of the ocean from the train window in this area. Our next destination was Gokurakuji Station in Kamakura. The next station after Inamuragasaki is Gokurakuji Station. This video was shot in mid-June, when hydrangeas bloom in Kamakura. Gokurakuji Station has a very charming retro station building. Taking a break on a bench in front of the station. I was starting to get hungry, so I took a bite of the strawberry daifuku I had bought in front of Fujisawa station. Gokurakuji Temple is located right after you get off the Enoshima Electric Railway station. Gokurakuji Temple was founded by Hojo Shigetoki in 1259 during the Kamakura period, and was later relocated to the temple by Ninsho. To enter the temple gate, you must bow your head, just like at the nijiriguchi entrance of a teahouse. Upon entering the temple grounds, you will see a row of cherry blossom trees covered in greenery. It’s a quiet, relaxing place. Colorful hydrangeas blooming in front of the Daishido Hall. It was very beautiful. After visiting Gokurakuji Temple, Instead of returning to Gokurakuji Station, I strolled around the town. I strolled around as I pleased. I was intrigued by the hydrangeas blooming beside the stairs, so I decided to climb them. When you go up the stairs, There was a gate with the words “Barrier West” written on it, and I passed through it. There seemed to be a crowd of people there, so I went over to check it out. I see. This is a place where you can get a beautiful view of the Shonan Sea. Surrounded by fresh greenery, the scenery is woven with hydrangeas and the Shonan sea. I can now see why the area around Gokurakuji Station was chosen as the setting for the adult romance drama “Second to Last Love.” The atmosphere of the ancient capital and the tranquility of the seaside will gently envelop your adult love. Leaving the temple behind, we head back to Gokurakuji Station. The next destination was Shichirigahama Station. Leave Shichirigahama Station and you can reach the beach in just a short walk. Enoshima as seen from Shichirigahama There are a lot of young people here.
Shichirigahama is a place that really suits the word youth. I returned to Shichirigahama Station and headed to a restaurant that I had been wanting to go to for a while. The Enoshima Electric Railway passes through the town of Shichirigahama. The entrance to the shop I’d always wanted to go to was next to the wall across from the Enoshima Electric Railway tracks. Cross the railroad tracks and climb the steps surrounded by lush greenery. I’m a little worried whether there really is a store in a place like this. There was a shop at the top of the stairs. Upon entering the shop, a magnificent view of Enoshima unfolded before us. The name of the restaurant is “Amalfi DELLASERA” It feels like you’re in Italy. Today is our wedding anniversary. Enjoyed casual, unpretentious Italian food. This pizza is called Shichirigahama. This is Sagami pork from Kanagawa prefecture and Sicilian salt. It was delicious. Finally, a dessert platter. This was my first time at this restaurant, but I’d like to come back again. As I left the restaurant and headed towards Shichirigahama Station, I found this wonderful guidepost. What did you think?
