Kawawatari Jinkosai Festival
The Kawawatari Jinkosai is a big festival held every May in Tagawa City, Fukuoka.
It started a long time ago when people prayed to the gods to stop an illness.
The main highlight of the festival is when big portable shrines, called yamakasa and mikoshi, cross the river. Many people carry them while shouting “Wasshoi!” and walk through the water.
It’s a very powerful festival with a lot of history.

変わらずの多彩な構図に、これまた多彩なBロール。
祭りのスタートから終わりまで描き構成も起承転結があり好きな作品です。
しかし大きな祭りなんですね。
川？に入るとは思わなかったし、神輿を沈めているみたいな？シーンもありました。
終わり方も良いですね〜❤
