This time we’re visiting “Sima Spice Curry”, a curry restaurant in Kajiya-cho.
It’s one block away from Sofukuji-dori. Lunchtime is from 11am to 3pm.

There are three standard curries, but the seasonal ones are also interesting. ① Mughal Chicken, 1,000 yen (tax included) The chewy brown rice and spicy curry roux are a perfect match. The side dishes are purple cabbage and carrot rapé, which are colorful and vibrant． 🌶️ It’s quite spicy, so add the seasoning little by little as you eat. There’s also plenty of meat . ② Burdock and Prefectural Chicken Keema, 1,000 yen (tax included) This dish is lighter than it looks, topped with fragrant burdock and tender minced chicken． ③ Pork Vindaloo, 1,000 yen (tax included) The semicircular papadum is crispy and salty. The aroma of brown rice and spices stimulates the appetite ． The stewed pork is accented with a sour taste, creating a deep flavor. ④ Minced Pork and Lemon Keema Curry, 1,200 yen (tax included) ※There are also two seasonal limited curries and one seasonal limited curry . The freshness of the lemon brings out the flavor of the minced meat. A fresh taste that you’ll want to come back for. ⑤ Mala Keema Curry with Minced Pork, 1,350 yen (tax included)
※Available only on weekdays, Tuesdays to Fridays. Chinese-style curry with the aroma of chili bean paste, star anise, and cinnamon.
