【湘南葉山】美しい海と古民家カフェを楽しむ旅

I arrived at Zushi Station on a swaying train. The weather was great, so it was a good day to go out. I took a short bus ride to my first destination. The blue sky, the sea, and the pure white bus stop were beautiful. The sea near the bus stop was crystal clear. The view was great, and even waiting for the bus was soothing. The waves around here were calm. This is the torii gate of the nearby Morito Shrine, and the torii gate floating alone in the sea stands out. On days when the air is clear, Mt. Fuji looks beautiful. I found a staircase to the sea. If I go down, I feel like I can go to another world. The sea here is also crystal clear, and I could see the rocks below. It is also a snorkeling spot. It is very pleasant to walk along the coast. I followed the arrow and walked a little further. The beautiful blue color soothes my heart. I almost got the illusion that I was in Okinawa . I found an exciting path that looks like it could lead to the sea. Be careful as there are some places where the waves are a little high. The swimming areas are separated, so please check in advance before going! I decided to go a little off the main road and down a side street. I could hear the sound of the waves. There were people swimming here since the morning. I could watch them forever. There was a park nearby, so I decided to go there. It was late June, but the hydrangeas were still blooming beautifully. There is also a Japanese garden in this park. It is said that the garden uses Mt. Migaoka as a backdrop. It is the season for fresh greenery now, but it seems that there are various ways to enjoy it depending on the season. The small waterfall called “Fusui no Taki” is a nice accent. The murmuring of the water is pleasant. I feel the early summer. In the morning, it was almost private, so it was easy to go around. There was also a place to rest. It seems that you can use it for free. I decided to take a short break in the shade of the trees. It was a perfect park for a morning walk. There was a small path on the side of the park, so I decided to go there. I wonder what kind of view I’ll see. The sea again. It looks nice! It was a hot day, so I wanted to go in too. I didn’t prepare anything, so I’ll do it next time. I came to the art museum next to Shiosai Park. It seems that there is also an annex in Kamakura. The cute objects stand out against the green grass. The exhibits change with each season. The glass-walled restaurant must have a spectacular view from here. It was closed, so I’ll come again sometime. There is also a library, so it seems like it would be nice to learn a little about art. We travel by bus to our next destination. It is a complex of old houses, and it seems to have a cafe, flower stand, and rental space. The theme of the store is “gentle living,” so the interior is designed to be a calm space. All the chairs are different types and seem to be for sale. There is Wi-Fi and seats with outlets, so it seems like you can work efficiently. A nice aroma is floating around the store. It would be nice to spend a relaxing time on the terrace on a sunny day. I ordered a hot sandwich with homemade ginger ale and vegetable and mushroom meat sauce. The bread used is enzyme brown rice bread, which seems to be good for your health. The ginger ale has a refreshing taste with a strong ginger flavor. The hot sandwich was so delicious that it was gone in no time. It seems that you can also purchase spices and other seasonings. A cozy hidden spot, definitely worth a visit if you come to Hayama. Thank you for the meal. I’m going on a journey to find desserts while walking around the city of Hayama! I found an old-style cafe in a residential area. I feel like I’m being called by the cool noren curtains. They also serve lunch, cafe, and dinner. There are seats overlooking the green garden, counter seats, and tatami seating. Jazz is playing in the interior, so it seems like a relaxing place to spend time. The dessert menu seems to change depending on the season, and you can choose from the whiteboard menu. The atmosphere is great, and I’d like to come here for dinner. I ordered tiramisu. There was a crispy cookie hidden under the fluffy mascarpone cream. When I put it in my mouth, the cream melted and went perfectly with the cookie. I was able to spend a happy time. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.
