【ホテル超詳細レビュー】ホテルニューアワジでリーズナブルに宿泊出来る夢海游 淡路島の１泊２日宿泊記

A report on a two-day stay at Yumekaiyu Awajishima. I am currently on a trip to Awajishima and am on my way to the hotel where I will be staying tonight. I am staying at Yumekaiyu Awajishima. It is part of the New Awaji Hotel Group, which is so well-known in the Kansai region that everyone knows about it. This hotel is a relatively affordable hotel among the New Awaji Group. As for the location of the hotel, it is located in the center of Sumoto City. It is a 10-minute walk from the Sumoto Bus Center bus stop. There is also a free shuttle bus from Sumoto Bus Center . I can see the hotel! . Yumekaiyu Awajishima Total number of rooms: 101 rooms Two large hot spring baths Indoor pool Parking lot: Yes Shuttle bus: Yes. The parking lot can accommodate 100 cars. It is free from 12:00 on the check-in day to 12:00 on the check-out day. There is a shuttle bus. I think I will use it on my way back. I arrived at the hotel. Let’s go to check in. Check-in. Fresh flowers are displayed here. The lobby was elegant and luxurious. Right in front of us was the tea lounge. They served hotel-made special cakes using seasonal fruits from Awaji Island, coffee, beer, etc. Next to it was a kids’ corner . There were also picture books. Going further in, we found the lobby lounge . There was a patio with a waterfall. It had a resort feel. There was a shop at the back, so let’s go and check it out. Here they sold products using the local specialty onions and loquats, seafood, local sake, and more. It was quite spacious and had a good selection. What! At the very back was a game center. It was mostly a crane game. Next, we went to the 8th floor of the main building. There was a terrace and a pool here. There were fresh flowers here too. The hotel had two large hot spring baths. It was one of the reasons we chose this hotel (^^). We arrived on the 8th floor. First, we went to the pool. There was someone using it, so we’ll come back later. This is the private room restaurant “Isobe-tei”. Wow. What a spectacular view! It has a resort feel! . You can see Ohama Beach from here. You can see Osaka Bay. The night view looks beautiful too (^^). The Deer God! . It looked like the Deer God from Princess Mononoke ^_^;. It’s time to head to the room. Today’s room was on the 7th floor. In front of me is the lounge for guests on the Nagomi floor. I think this is it. Let’s go in. Standard twin room in the main building, size 19 square meters, capacity 2 people. If you are traveling alone. You will get a standard twin or double room in the main building. The room has a simple interior. If you are traveling alone, it is 19 square meters, so you can use it comfortably. The ceiling is also high. As for the air conditioning in the room. It was an individual air conditioner that allows you to adjust the temperature to your liking. This room faces the mountain. What is the view like? When you open the curtains, you can see Mt. Mikuma. You can also go out to the balcony. The balcony is like a service balcony. From here, I will introduce the room in detail. Introduction to the facilities. The area around the entrance looks like this. When I opened the closet, the inside looked like this. The top shelf was a space to hang clothes. There were hanten coats and deodorant sprays. Below that were bath towels, face towels, tabi socks and nylon bags. A yukata and obi belt. Below that was a security box. There were slippers and a shoehorn. Next to that was an air purifier with a humidifier. A luggage rack. There was a large full-length mirror. The area by the window was a space to relax. There was a stylish table and chairs. There were Japanese sweets on the table (^^). Behind that was a writing desk that looked like it could be used for work. There was a newspaper on the desk. There were also books. There was also a desk lamp. The chair looked like this. As for the TV. When you turn it on, it showed a guide to the hotel. You could learn about various things inside the hotel. You could also find out about the usage status of the large hot spring bath. You could also use various apps. The TV is broadcast by terrestrial digital. You can watch satellite broadcasts. The WIFI speed is… The speed was 15Mbps, which was stress-free. If you look closely, you can catch a glimpse of Sumoto Castle from the balcony. Bed: The bed is 115cm wide and 195cm long. It’s a little smaller than a semi-double. The pillow is reversible. It’s soft cotton and a little hard pipe. The comforter is quite thick but light. There is a mattress pad on the bed. The mattress was also well-cushioned. On the bedside table. There was a phone and tissues. There was an alarm clock, light, and power outlet. Bathroom: The bathroom. The sink looks like this. Amenities on the sink. Face soap. There was a hair dryer. Amenities included a hairbrush, toothbrush set, razor, and cotton set. There was a cabinet at the very back. On top of the cabinet. A kettle pot and ice bucket. Teacups, glass cups, and green tea were prepared. Below that was a refrigerator. When I opened it. There was a storage for drinks that you had to pay for. It’s a hotel, so it’s a bit expensive. And here is the unit bath. This is what it looks like inside. The bathtub is old-fashioned and a little small. POLA shampoo and other items are placed here. The hand shower looks like this. The toilet was a shower toilet with a bidet and was clean. I’m going to go on a hot spring tour now. There are two large hot spring baths. You can take a bath in the hotel. First, let’s go to Umi-no-Mori. Before that, let’s take a look at the second floor. There is a dining area here. It is the venue for dinner and breakfast. From here, it looks like a resort overseas! . Arrival. Is this the place to relax after a bath? You can see the coast from here. And there was also a private bath. To go to the large bath, you first go up to the second floor. You put on slippers here. It’s quite a walk, but it does feel like a resort (^^). It has a luxurious feel. It has a nice atmosphere (^^). It also feels a bit like Bali. Black bean tea! I’m looking forward to getting out of the bath (^^). Well, I’m off. This is Shirasuna no Yu (with open-air bath). Men and women are on a rotating basis. When I went, I went to the one with the open-air bath. Sumoto Onsen is an alkaline simple hot spring. It feels smooth on the skin and is expected to have a skin-beautifying effect. From the open-air bath, you can see Ohama Beach over the pine forest. You can bathe while feeling the sound of the waves and the sea breeze. It was an open-air bath full of a sense of openness. This is Seimatsu no Yu (with medicinal bath). With ingredients and scents from plant leaves and fruits. There is a medicinal bath that allows you to enjoy the changing of the seasons. It was a good bath. Delicious! Next, let’s go to “Mori no SPA”. Mori no SPA is on the 6th floor of the main building. Before that, let’s come and see the pool on the 8th floor. This place also has a resort feel. This is a heated pool. The water temperature is set at 31°C. It is 90cm deep, so children can enjoy it. There are kickboards. For adults, there is a jacuzzi (^^). There are two jacuzzis. There is also a swimsuit dehydrator here. And here. There is an area where you can relax. Now, let’s head to the hot spring bath. Nice. There is also a healing spa and a place to relax. This place also has a Balinese atmosphere and a luxurious feel. It looks like you can relax here after a bath (^^). What! There was a massage chair here. And you can use it for free. This place also had a very luxurious feel. It feels like a high-class spa. Well, I’m off. This is the hot spring bath “Hibiki”. It was reopened on July 21, 2020. Right in front of you is Mt. Mikuma. In this spacious and open bath, you can enjoy the famous “Sumoto Onsen” while immersing yourself in the feeling of forest bathing. There is also a sauna here. In addition to the normal depth of the bathtub, there was also a slightly deeper area of ​​about 90 cm. The area in the middle is deeper. There is another large bath here as well. Men and women are allowed to alternate. This is the large hot spring bath “IZUMI”. There is a reclining bath here. It’s great to lie down while bathing in the forest (^^). And there is a sauna here too. Black bean tea. I’ve stayed at other New Awaji hotels a few times. They also had black bean tea there. The baths were nice. It’s almost time for dinner, so I head back to my room. There are four large hot spring baths. It was fun to leisurely take a bath around the baths. I returned to my room. Dinner is served at the dining area on the third floor. I thought it would be the dining area on the second floor, but it’s a different place. This time I had this course for dinner. It’s an all-you-can-eat Awaji beef course (^^). Since it’s all-you-can-eat, the venue is also different. The food fighter venue. Is this it? This is the menu for today’s dinner. And the drink menu. The seasonal appetizer platter has arrived. Awaji beer 968 yen. The type is pilsner. It has no strong flavor, is refreshing, and is easy to drink. Awaji Beer is a craft beer from Awaji Island. The sounds of ocean waves are played as background music in the storage tank. The yeast is allowed to listen to the sounds as it is slowly aged. The sashimi platter has arrived. The appetizer uses octopus and other ingredients. It has a sophisticated flavor and is delicious (^^). The ingredients for the hot pot have also arrived! . The main dish this time is Awaji beef. You can have as many refills as you like. There is plenty of onions from Awaji (^^). And bok choy, tofu, etc. The ingredients are cherry salmon and octopus. You can have as many refills as you like. The hot pot is a two-color hot pot. It is a soup hot pot with seasonal fish, and the red one is tomato-based. And chawanmushi. The sashimi was also very fresh and delicious (^^). Among them, the cherry salmon was the best. It is characterized by its elegant fat and rich sweetness. Delicious! . It’s about time to make the hot pot. A light one. Octopus too. It’s all-you-can-eat, so we’ll go all out! . Delicious! . It’s tomato-based, so it’s refreshing. The octopus has become quite small. This is also refreshing (^^). I’ll keep making more (^-^)/. Onions too. And the onions were really delicious (^^). The tartness of the tomatoes and the sweetness of the onions were the best. The person next to me was also impressed by the deliciousness of the onions. I don’t think they taste that good when I eat them at home. Maybe they’re a different variety of onion from Awaji Island. Anyway, it’s delicious! . Next is the long-awaited meat (^^). “Awaji beef” has the same roots as Kobe beef and Tajima beef. It is a local brand of beef raised with the rich nature and breeding techniques of Awaji Island. A lot. Delicious! . The red meat has a strong flavor! . It goes well with beer. They brought more. The meat is so delicious that I could eat it forever (^^). Finally, I make risotto. The risotto is with tomatoes. It was delicious with cherry salmon and octopus extract. A dessert platter arrived! If you can’t eat it, you can take it out to eat in your room. We finished with tea. I ate my fill of Awaji beef (^^). I returned to my room. I could see a little of the Sumoto Castle lit up from my room. I’m going to sleep now. Good morning. The weather is nice today , so it’s a good day for sightseeing. I’m going to breakfast now. The breakfast venue opens at 7:00. Breakfast is served in the dining room on the second floor. It seems to have just opened. It’s completely different from yesterday’s stadium for food fighters (^^). Let’s take a look at various things! From around here. Around here there is bread and Western food. The onion clam chowder looks delicious. This is the prepared food corner. There are rows of Japanese food. There are also onion dishes. Is this related to rice? There was roasted onion . A staff member will bring you rice. Next is the salad corner. It’s colorful and looks delicious (^^). There was onion dressing. And the dessert corner. Awajishima yogurt. And soft drinks. Awajishima milk. There is also a live kitchen. You can make omelets. I got a lot of things! . You can see Ohama beach from here. I got most of the onion dishes. The salad looked delicious so I ordered a lot. And onion clam chowder. They also made an omelette for me. I also had a smoothie and Awajishima milk. It’s nice to have breakfast with a view outside (^^). Since it’s all onions from the morning, it thins the blood and is healthy (^^). This is fried onion. It’s very sweet! I often drink Awajishima milk at home. It’s sweet and refreshing. I can gulp it down in one go (^^). Other than onion dishes, they also had a strong flavor and were delicious. As for the onion clam chowder. It was mostly onion (^^). The waves are pretty rough. I got desserts! Melon! Bite-sized cake. Melon. Croissant. I got Awajishima yogurt. I put a lot of honey in the yogurt, so it turned out to be very mildly sweet ( ¨̮ ). The rich and creamy taste is great. We finished with coffee. The breakfast was full of onions and was very delicious (^^). There was take-out coffee when we left. Finally, we went to the hot spring again. We could see the coast from here. The sound of the waves was also soothing. This place had a Balinese resort feel to it. It’s a little far away, but it’s perfect for a morning walk (^^). The medicinal bath was with iris. It smelled really good. We went back to the room. It was a bit sad to leave, but we checked out. We waited for the shuttle bus to take us back. Check out.
