Best Value Stay in Ikebukuro!? 🏨 1 Min from Station + Hotel Review 🍜 Ramen & Bar Experience

This time I stayed at “Resol Ikebukuro”. I’ll also introduce my recommended ramen with plenty of back fat, as well as my favorite bars! I arrived in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. In fact, Ikebukuro Station is the third busiest station in terms of daily users, after Shinjuku and Shibuya! This is the east exit where Seibu Ikebukuro is located. The area is densely packed with large electronics retailers, amusement facilities, and restaurants. It is one of the largest downtown areas in Tokyo, bustling even at night, and a popular town with tourists. Continue along the main street. This channel mainly introduces Japanese hotels, but also introduces tourist spots and Japanese food. If you are interested, please subscribe to our channel! Arrived at the hotel! The price is for a double room with breakfast included. There is an Italian restaurant attached. It is a 6-minute walk, about 450m, from the east exit. The entrance has a calming atmosphere. The restaurant will be the venue for tomorrow’s breakfast. It is connected to the hotel lobby, so it is easily accessible. The lobby has a feminine feel with red flowers and cushions. Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is until 11:00. You will bring all the amenities you need to your room. We have a full range of items including toothpaste sets and bath salts. The aroma fills the lobby. You can also enjoy it in your room by dropping some into a mouette. There are six types of tea. Skin care sets are also available, so you can feel at ease even if you need to stay overnight at short notice. This nine-story hotel has a total of 158 guest rooms, of which 127 are double rooms. Arrived on the third floor. 310 so… left maybe?! It is also important to check evacuation routes. I found a vending machine halfway down the hallway. Although the variety is limited, they also sell alcohol. The room numbers are clearly displayed, so you won’t accidentally walk past them (laughs). The guest rooms are Japanese-style and guests are required to take off their shoes. Change into slippers and enjoy a room that feels like you’re living alone♪ It is a compact room of 14 m2. The view from the window is of the city. It’s on the third floor so you can see the street, but it’s in a quieter area than the area around the station. The atmosphere is like that of a one-room apartment, making it a very relaxing place. There is a bench sofa next to the bed. It’s an interesting little seating area. Check around your desk. cable …? Inside the bag were various charging cables. of mineral water is free. As part of their efforts to protect the environment, they only change towels, collect trash, and replenish mineral water during consecutive nights. Let’s cool the water. The deodorizing mist has a citrus floral and wood scent. In-room massage services are also available. The tea set is placed against the wall. The space is also utilized efficiently. The bed and the TV are a little too close. I found the light switch. Click! Maybe the lighting is dimmed to help you relax …?! If you need more light while working at your desk, desk lights are available to borrow from the front desk. There are two types of pillows available. The mattress is an original pocket coil type, which will help you have a good night’s sleep until the morning. The loungewear is two-piece so it’s okay if you sleep in a bad position lol Turn on your air purifier. This is especially essential during pollen season. At this time of year in Japan, the main pollen is cedar pollen, but in Europe too, the number of people suffering from birch and cypress pollen is increasing year by year. There is a space in front of the bathroom where you can hang your coats and jackets. It seems that all the standard amenities are available, such as a baggage rack and a full-length mirror. When you open this door, you’ll find a toilet and a unit bath. The hotel opened in 2009, so it is old but clean. Hair dryer provided. The front desk also lends out popular Refa hair irons. the shampoo, conditioner, and body soap is clear and easy to understand. All rooms on the 9th floor are for ladies only. The skin care amenities are particularly comprehensive. Apparently, they are always stocked with beauty appliances and other items that women will appreciate. Well, I think I’ll go outside. There are vending machines on the 3rd and 8th floors, and an ice maker on the 2nd floor. I feel like eating ramen tonight. It’s near the south exit, near Junkudo. Continue along the main street towards Mejiro. We arrived at the ramen restaurant “Naritake.” Look for the yellow sign. The words “back fat” and “rich” really catch your eye! Lol The noodles are homemade, medium-thick, and boiled until firm. You can choose between soy sauce or miso soup. My personal recommendation is the miso flavor! It’s addictive and I find myself craving it sometimes. The amount of back fat can be adjusted to suit your taste. The fat keeps the soup from getting cold, which is great. It’s consistently delicious. I have included a link to a video of my previous visit to a Naritake related store, so please check it out! Afterwards, enjoy a drink at your favorite bar. “The Sake Museum” is a bar with 87 locations across the country. Get in just in time! It’s so popular that it fills up quickly. We also have rare, discontinued whiskeys. You can enjoy unique experiences such as comparing flavors. Even though it’s a bar, it’s casual and not too expensive, so I recommend it! good night. good morning. The weather was good, and it was a pleasant morning to wake up to. Breakfast is served in the Italian restaurant on the first floor. Is it an Italian breakfast? Should I have a cappuccino? Ah, it was a buffet lol The restaurant’s name is “Il Chianti Est.” Chianti …? Chianti is a long-established Italian restaurant in Azabudai that was frequented by famous people such as Yukio Mishima. Il Chianti is apparently a franchise of a restaurant opened by a chef who trained in Chianti. It’s a bit confusing lol The buffet features around 30 different types of ingredients, many of which are locally produced. As expected from an Italian restaurant, we also found a pasta menu. The menu is created under the supervision of a registered dietitian. I also like that it has nutritional information displayed. They mainly serve Western food, but of course they also have Japanese food. This restaurant is proud of its salad dressings. It seems they also have a takeaway version, but the dressing used in the shop is made using raw ingredients, so the taste is different. Now, let’s boil the pasta. Since the noodles have been parboiled, set the timer for 2 minutes. Two meals in a row…I’m stuffed with noodles lol The interior of the restaurant has a nostalgic Italian atmosphere. The movie ” Life Is Beautiful” was a masterpiece… … I was spacing out and before I knew it, 2 minutes had passed. Drain and place on a plate. The pasta changes daily. We add sauce to it. Pasta in garlic white soup. Enjoy the rich flavor of clams. Let’s bake some bread too. When it comes to sightseeing spots in Ikebukuro, Sunshine City is the place to go. It’s very close to the hotel. In addition to shopping, there is also aquariums, planetariums, theme parks and more that always have interesting exhibitions. The observation deck, overlooking the sky and greenery, is a relaxing spot that even families can enjoy. Also nearby is Animate, which has a wide selection of anime goods, and Otome Road, which is lined with anime-related shops aimed at women. It is also known as “Akiba for women.” There are also many movie theaters and bookstores, so you can enjoy culture and entertainment to your heart’s content. Meanwhile, in the West Exit area, you’ll find the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre and Ikebukuro Engeijo, where you can enjoy traditional Japanese performing arts. Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, Jiyu Gakuen Myonichikan is a must-see for architecture lovers. This is the much talked about dressing. Put on plenty of it. Next to it is detox water made with domestic fruits. The nutrients contained in fruit dissolve in water, allowing you to efficiently consume nutrients such as vitamins and minerals. An Italian-inspired breakfast is ready. Italians don’t eat pasta for breakfast … but that’s just an image. You can boil your own pasta, it’s a fun buffet. The interior has high ceilings and an open feel. When I looked up, I saw a Venetian mask! The Venice Carnival is said to be one of the three biggest carnivals in the world. People gather wearing masks and with face painting, and masquerade balls and water parades are held. For lunch or dinner, you can enjoy Italian cuisine made with plenty of Japanese seafood while feeling like you’re traveling. Ah, this was Ikebukuro lol There is also a festival registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage just 30 minutes away from Ikebukuro on the Tobu Tojo Line express train. At the Kawagoe Festival held in October, gorgeous floats are paraded around. It’s a spectacular sight! Koedo Kawagoe is an attractive area with its rows of historic storehouses, seasonally changing nature, and delicious cuisine. Additionally, the Harry Potter interactive facility that opened on the former site of Toshimaen is just 17 minutes away on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line. You can enjoy a different kind of outing spot from those around Tokyo Station and Shinagawa Station. Ikebukuro Station is served by four lines: JR, Tobu Railway, Seibu Railway, and Tokyo Metro. You can easily access Shibuya, Shinjuku, etc. without having to change trains. The hotel where I stayed this time, Risol Ikebukuro, is close to the station but located in a relatively quiet area. The cost is also relatively reasonable. Risol Hotel aims to provide a comfortable space where you can feel at home. Thanks to various ideas such as the welcome aroma and shoes-off style, I was able to have a comfortable stay! Street furniture …? Furniture suddenly appears all over town! This is apparently part of an effort to make Ikebukuro a comfortable and relaxed place for visitors. This is just my opinion, but in the past, Ikebukuro was lined with commercial and entertainment facilities and gave the impression of being a place for shopping and entertainment. In recent years, it has been ranked highly in lists of cities people want to live in and seems to be popular among families. It’s a fun town with many different faces. I’ll come visit again! is compact and cute in appearance. Its bright red exterior really catches your eye! Thank you for watching until the end. 9. When I go to Tokyo I always stay in a different area and I was already considering Ikebukuro. Your video came out at the perfect time! Since I had to cancel a Hotel Resol stay in Kyoto a couple of years ago (I can't remember why 🤔) I booked this one for the end of my stay, just after Golden Week. So thank you. . . the hotel looks decent, food looks good, very good price plus I get to explore another part of Tokyo. 😀
