I came to the airport early in the morning
because I’m going on a solo trip to Osaka today. It’s 6AM now, so I’m going to eat and then head out. One bowl of soft tofu stew. (Must-have vitamin for a tough trip) Since I’ll be sleeping on the plane, I’m putting on makeup in advance .. ^^.. This time I’m flying with Asiana. Last time I had a bad experience with VietJet,
so I booked a major airline this time ..^^ Finally flying a big plane again !! (In-flight service in progress) I mean, it’s just a short flight to Japan but this service .. (so touched).. 🥺 As expected, the national airline class ✈️ But because of that, I couldn’t sleep at all .. 🥲 Arrived in Osaka after two and a half hours. Waiting for my luggage, I went to withdraw cash. After pressing “International Card,”
it also supports Korean. Don’t press English from the start!!!! For a Japan trip, a Travel Wallet is a must. Head to the far left while facing outside. There’s an information center,
and I’m going to buy the Osaka Amazing Pass right there. With the weak yen these days, it’s better to buy locally! Osaka Amazing Pass: 1-day pass with unlimited rides on certain buses/subways all day. + You can also enter some Osaka attractions for free !!!!!!! Buying a round-trip airport <-> Umeda limousine ticket. I booked the limousine bus as a round trip. It’s cheaper to buy it round trip at the airport
than to buy one-way separately 🙂 Exit Kansai Airport from Gate F and it’s easy to find 🙂 Just line up at stop number 5 right in front!!!! I planned to get off at the New Hankyu Hotel,
but they said it doesn’t stop there before 2PM ㅠㅠ So I ended up getting off at Hotel Vischio Osaka, which is the closest. Arrived after about an hour 🙂 Finally arrived!!!! They said they’d drop me off at New Hankyu Hotel. Re .. (Can’t remember) Req…? It’s Vischio. (Awkward) Osaka, the weather fairy has arrived ☀️☀️ This time my accommodation is Hotel Unizo Umeda. It was really cost-effective for staying alone! It was comfortable, clean, and the service was great 🙂 I left my luggage lightly and headed out to the city 🙂 It’s been so long since I took the Japanese subway .. 🥹 …… I’m heading to Namba Station to get food!!!! Motomura Gyukatsu (It’s supposed to be a super popular place, but no line? Suspicious) Luckily, there was a Korean chef. A small happiness for me who can’t speak Japanese .. ❤︎ They said I had to order lots of side dishes,
but I didn’t want any so just the basics ..^^ (Firmly) Nope, I don’t like any of them. Just one draft beer .. My inseparable soulmate = draft beer 🍺 Hmm, it seems Osaka uses a lot of premium draft beer. I see it very often. The food I ordered has arrived. I came to this gyukatsu place just for this vibe ❤︎ They recommended eating it on top, so I tried it that way. Hmm .. but I still prefer wasabi .. ~ Anyway, my first meal in Osaka was a success without waiting. Wow, after I went in, the line became crazy long … ! No wonder this place is famous with such high Google ratings,
but something felt a bit off .. Guess I was just lucky .. ❤︎ I was debating whether to go to Tomita Gyukatsu or Motomura Gyukatsu,
but since Motomura was more famous, I went there. Compared to gyukatsu in Korea,
it was much more tender .. I think .. (?) (To be honest, I don’t really like gyukatsu, so I’m not sure .. ㅎ) Anyway, I enjoyed it quite a lot. (Now) I’m heading to Isomaru Suisan? To try some seafood. Isomaru Suisan Here too, you can order even if you don’t know Japanese. (It automatically switches to Korean,
so you can just order as is.) Ordering now. I heard the grilled crab shell and scallops are famous, so I ordered them. This time, I ordered a Lemon Sour 🙂 The service of grilling it for you until it’s done is just the best .. 👀 Wow, the innards are so rich .. 🤦🏻‍♀️❤︎ And I really loved that each table had its own personal grill ㅠ_ㅠ [When I came in there was no one,
but when I looked back suddenly it was crowded] It’s delicious but so hot that I just kept having a staring contest with my camera .. Honestly, ordering the crab shell is the correct answer 👍🏻 And since it’s a chain, it’s really easy to find! I came to buy a Mini Evo!!! (The ultimate goal of coming to Japan.) Turns out I wasn’t the only one coming to buy it ….. Sold out. At the first Don Quijote, they said the Mini Evo was sold out .. Seems like it’s going to be sold out everywhere … Where on earth is my Mini Evo .. Not giving up, I’ll try another place. I randomly ran into Glico and managed to snap a proof shot .. ㅎ I came to another Don Quijote!! This one’s the Dotonbori branch! And of course, sold out again. At the third Don Quijote, an employee even took me directly to look for it. But of course, I still couldn’t find the camera at the third Don Quijote .. Heading back empty-handed. [Deep sigh] (Gave up on Don Quijote) I’ll try going to Bic Camera instead. A super kind staff member explained it was sold out and went to check where there was stock. Really, thank you kind staff >_< But oh my gosh .. They said it was sold out, but one canceled order came in so they gave it to me .. Even if I searched all over Osaka now, I probably wouldn’t find any stock. I’m seriously so lucky!!!! And I even bought the film at half price >_< Hankyu Umeda Department Store I came to buy Itshindo mochi but the pudding looked so good, so I bought one too lol [The important thing is.. I don’t know what flavor it is ㅎ] And finally, after asking again and again, I found Itshindo! In summer, the popular ones are peach and melon! I prepared an ice pack so I can take them back to Korea! (But the ice pack costs extra :) Bought the famous Itshindo mochi that everyone says you must get in Osaka (proud) (100% synced) Wait.. isn’t this Shinsegae Gangnam...? Seriously, even the air feels like Shinsegae Gangnam B1 floor. Kiddy Land I found a cute name tag and ran straight over :) It’ll look so cute on my suitcase 🥹🥹🥹 [Really putting effort into choosing initials] On the bottom right, there are English initials too, just so you know :) So cute ... sigh I stopped by the hotel briefly to check in :) (Got assigned to the top floor) I’m so excited to see the view..!!!!!!!!!! I booked the women-only 13th floor, and the room size was pretty good for one person :) There’s even a bathtub.. (so touched) Pretty satisfied guest [Hurried footsteps] Mission: Arrive at the 39th floor of Umeda Sky Building before 4pm. Escalator 1F->3F, elevator 3F->35F, escalator 35F->39F.
You have to go up in three stages .. [It was free with the Osaka pass until 4pm, and I literally arrived at 4pm] Talk about perfect timing ^^…. The view.. well.. just feels like a typical city ..? (Not that impressed) Kind of like the view from Lotte Tower..? But honestly, gotta admit—how clean they keep the glass makes it feel like it’s not even there .. (Can’t live without beer) They were selling beer, so I had to grab one before leaving. On the 40th floor café, they sell food, bread, drinks—so you can just relax and enjoy 🙂 Here, the view itself is the best side dish. Gulp gulp The natural lighting was insane. Selfies are a must. As of June 2024, it was free until 4pm, and after that you could enter at a 20% discount! Watching the sunset would be nice, but for me, going for free was the better choice ^^ After finishing up at Umeda Sky Building, I’m heading to Sushi Isshin for dinner. Sushi Isshin [A bit tired] I told them I was alone, and it seemed like they’d let me in right away. Nope – just my imagination – [Guess they kicked me out because I was solo .. ㅎ] Sushi Sakaba Sashisu [Didn’t know Japanese well, so I just made up the shop’s name] [Speechless] Turns out I misread the map and went to the wrong branch ㅠㅠ Wow, it actually took me an hour to get in. This better not taste bad .. (what are you gonna do then) Speaking with my hands Thankfully, I studied the best menu while waiting. + Beer is a must hehe Order complete (Hygiene 👍) Interestingly, they serve wasabi like this here? First came the medium fatty tuna and flounder. Followed by wagyu sushi and eel sushi. But seriously, medium fatty tuna.. are you sure you’re not actually otoro? Before I knew it, I needed a refill – I added the potato salad and uni sushi that they say you must try here! Of course it was good, but honestly most sushi places in Japan are at least decent,
so maybe waiting an hour wasn’t really worth it.. just saying, haha. Me being obsessed with Google ratings.. next time I’ll just go to a conveyor belt sushi place ^^ But still, I spent 6000 yen all by myself. When I came out, there were lots of people lining up just like me after checking Google reviews. Good luck everyone..! ㅎ Hanadako There was a famous takoyaki place nearby, so I stopped by. Apparently the one topped with green onion is famous,
so I got it to-go and planned to eat it at HEP Five. In Osaka, it’s always waiting and waiting no matter where you go .. I think I waited about 20 minutes here .. There are only four dine-in seats,
so if you ask for takeout instead, you’ll get it faster and take it with you! But of course, I need beer to go with it, right? I had a good memory of drinking Sapporo beer, so I grabbed it right away..! Can’t resist trying something I’ve never seen before – With the Osaka pass, I could ride HEP Five for free, so I came here hehe I didn’t expect it to be crowded at this time.. but what is this …. Packed and bustling But the line moved faster than expected,
so I only waited about 10 minutes before getting on 🙂 First thing after sitting down: selfie mode on [A kid who loves HIP and HOT vibes enjoys it fully even alone] The result Pretty satisfied ^^ And then I busily moved on .. Scary, but I had to eat takoyaki anyway .. Sunset would be pretty too, but night views are just as beautiful. Take a big bite Wash it down with a sip Hanadako.. maybe because it cooled down,
it didn’t taste that good ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ They said it’s good with green onions but .. (shakes head) (shakes head again) I’d like to try it again warm next time. Yakiniku Gorichan (Small space issue) I managed to get in, but since I didn’t book, I got kicked out right away… On the way back to the hotel, I saw Don Quijote. (Since tomorrow’s schedule is busy) I decided to just shop today,
and spent all my money at Don Quijote!!!! Tomorrow, I’ll just focus on the tour. Gonna eat dinner and just rest ..! Sock hole issue lol .. Is this really how a solo trip is supposed to be … Ha .. when am I ever going to finish unpacking all this … In the end, too tired so I gave up organizing for now and had some ice cream instead (??) Apparently this brûlée ice cream is trendy these days,
but they weren’t selling it ㅠ_ㅠ Focus, where are you Yoom..? After washing up I felt refreshed, so I set up a late-night snack ㅎㅎ + A beer I’ve never seen before + Isshindo mochi + A pudding I don’t know the name or taste of And that’s really the end of my first night in Osaka – The first day in Osaka was basically just eating I only went to highly-rated places on Google that Koreans love Maybe that’s why everything was at least decent Also, I used the Osaka Pass one-day ticket Thanks to that, I went to Umeda Sky Garden and HEP Five for free! + The Dotonbori River Cruise was free too, so I recommend going 🙂 (The type who always wakes up early when traveling) First, I’ll take the subway. Doing fine on my own Guys, I’m going to Kyoto today ~~~~~~ My first time in Kyoto, I’m nervous .. Tsurutontan Soemoncho branch We had our meeting at 7:40 It seems like most tours meet here I wanted to travel around some small towns near Osaka and after seeing this one photo I just had to sign up for the tour This is seriously so romantic … This time I’m joining the Kyoto North Tour with guide Odama .. ❤︎ Nice to meet you 🙂 They said it’s a new tour since the route is hard to reach I looked up the course out of curiosity Um .. yeah, no way I could go alone .. We arrived at a place called Nishiki Rest Area It’s famous for black soybean bread ..! I thought it was 1000 yen for one bread so I left the line once but turns out it was only 280 yen? (quietly got back in line) Anyway, got it Of course, had to try it right away Oh right, I don’t even like beans …ㅎ .. (secretly packs it back up) Honestly I was so sleepy from waking up early,
I swore I’d sleep on the way there But the fun stories .. why don’t they stop ..
I couldn’t sleep worried I’d miss something … (His voice must be hoarse by now ..)
Endless chatter .. like an eternal fountain (ㅋㅋ) Oh, and when we arrive, the guide sends recommended restaurants on KakaoTalk ..! No need to research beforehand After listening closely to all the stories, we finally arrived at Amanohashidate!!!!! First time joining a flag-following tour (excited) ㅠㅠㅠ Our guide passionately explains everything with his voice .. ㅠ_ㅠ He’s really working hard … You can take either the lift or monorail,
I’ll try the lift Let’s head to View Land Apparently the lift only has a single safety bar … Like this Honestly, it’s not scary at all so I recommend the lift (scared)
Wait why did it suddenly start shaking when it was going fine … Anyway, arrived safely Originally I booked the tour just to see Ine Funaya But they said this place is even better
so I’ll take a look around ..! [They say this is one of Japan’s top 3 scenic views] It’s famous because when you look upside down it resembles a dragon This is how you see it And as expected, the view going back down is amazing Anyway, the view is pretty but there’s not much to do up here
aside from the cool breeze 💨 I was given 3 hours at Amanohashidate so I’m a bit bored .. Killing time alone while waiting for the train .. Zanzabari vibes While walking, people kept saying “kawaii kawaii”
and it turned out to be because of a swallow family hi~ This place is apparently called Hesan Workshop I have no idea how to pronounce it in Japanese … I asked the guide in advance to order me a crab bento!!!!! It’s so popular it sells out by noon, so keep that in mind 🙂 With the bento in hand I headed to the park =3 =3 I’ve never been to central Kyoto,
but from what I’ve seen in videos it’s super crowded But honestly, I prefer coming somewhere quiet like this
where there are hardly any people. ❤︎ The guide recommended the bike shop right across the bridge You can rent for just 400 yen, very cheap Just rent from this little shop on the right! (Just pick what you want)
They have various bikes available here (Relieved they spoke English) Later I found out you can even haggle here ^^.. But since I don’t speak Japanese I couldn’t even try ^-^… If you only want a short rental, it might be worth trying! (Chose a fresh mint color) The guide recommended biking around the park and once I tried it, I totally understood why!!! Cycling while enjoying the beautiful scenery was so healing >_< I found a nice spot and stopped for a bit Pulled out my crab bento Sometimes it shows “closed” on Google Maps because once they sell out, they mark it closed Since it was the weekend with lots of tourists, they said it had already sold out long ago ..!!! Thanks guide ~ (so romantic) I’ll eat here Lunch wasn’t included in the tour so I looked around beforehand and found out about this bento shop Turns out it’s a super famous place 🔥 If I hadn’t pre-ordered, I never would’ve gotten to eat this ㅠ_ㅠ Our guide placed a reservation for me right at opening time :) So if you’re going on a weekend, I definitely recommend reserving in advance :) Our guide even gave us restaurant lists and menu recommendations But you can’t beat the romance of a bento .. Back on the bike Let’s go I ended up riding into a residential area Turns out I’m not (so) good at this alone ㅎ.. While I was taking pictures by myself, a kind Japanese postman grandpa took one for me A memory.. indeed ... ㅎ Now I’m done playing, heading back to catch the bus Right in front of the parking lot, the guide suggested getting ice cream Of course, ice cream is a must Finally heading to Ine Funaya .. (so excited) The scenery on the way is just too beautiful .... 🥹❤︎ + 1 hour in Ine Funaya At Ine village, you can rent a bike for free at the tourist info center!!! (Though it seems like they don’t have many!) Quiet and peaceful, totally my style - You can see scenery like this everywhere you go Isn’t it just so beautiful!! This is the famous Ine Cafe, the only trendy one here so everyone comes here I just snapped some photos but since I don’t like crowds, I decided to enjoy the scenery instead .... Suddenly ran into the guide, ended up tagging along And thanks to following diligently I got such pretty photos like these ~ This is Mukai Sake Brewery!! (One of the reasons I wanted to come here) As an alcohol lover, I had to buy some local sake ㅋ Got myself a bottle of sake :) Wrapped up with Mukai Brewery, tour of Ine Funaya complete ~~! On the way back after the tour Our guide still tirelessly recommended Osaka restaurants... ㅎ At first I thought 1 hour in Ine Funaya would feel too short, but the timing was actually perfect 👀 After the tour we returned to Osaka city just before 6pm :) I decided to do an opening run at Takekurabe for dinner (10 minutes before 6) Made it just in time Their beef tendon suji is famous so I ordered one suji okonomiyaki with a draft beer Oh wow? The thickness is insane ☺️ Mayonnaise Parsley Bonito flakes Once it’s cut up nicely It tastes amazing ~ The texture of the beef tendon was totally my style .. ❤︎ [The draft beer was unbelievably refreshing] But honestly it was only good at first, nothing too special after .. It was just okay .. End of review Completely exhausted Yeah .. you worked hard since morning, Yurim ... On my way to Yakiniku Gorichan but I have some time so I’m looking around a bit Arrived at Dotonbori Where was Glico-san again .. (bad with directions) (Ended up not finding it) Guys, it’s this one !!!!! If you see it, make sure to eat it !!!!!!1!!!!! Sadly I couldn’t try it .. so if you see it, don’t miss it .. Finally arrived at Yakiniku Gorichan Thanks to the tour guide’s reservation, I was able to get in (The day before I tried walking in and got kicked out right away) As soon as I came in, it was just too ... ... (forced silence) Can you hear me ...? (Intimidated, I couldn’t even speak properly) I asked for recommendations and ordered beef tongue and special cuts :) Ugh .. getting drained in real time Alright. Time to stay calm and grill some meat. Sometimes they’d come chat with me since I was eating alone .. Even joked around .. [But still couldn’t escape feeling drained] Eating alone really is the best .... [Though they did explain the menu and how to eat in great detail] This is [Muted again] Anyway, just grill it With how quickly my beer kept disappearing Had to refill fast It was really good but a bit sad I couldn’t try many cuts since I came alone 😥 Next time I’ll definitely bring someone with me ㅠ_ㅠ [I don’t know what they’re saying but I think it’s directed at me ...] The only word I caught was “bye” ... ㅎ [Deep sigh lol] Done eating, heading to the hotel to drop everything off Why is Japanese so difficult .... Heading over there to eat some seafood Dropped my stuff but suddenly it started raining ☔️ Arrived at Isaribi! I made a reservation beforehand through Google Maps!! 📝 Pretty sure you need to book in advance Definitely a hot spot in Osaka But even with my hand raised the staff didn’t come over ...? A Japanese couple across from me had to call them over, and they reluctantly came. Over the top, sis ☺️ Sadly, the scallops I wanted were sold out 🥲 So instead I ordered grilled conch And some grilled chicken And grilled yellowtail too .... Even shiitake mushrooms ...ㅎ ... Starting off with a ginger highball The food I ordered started coming out one by one [Finished my highball and ready with a draft beer] I’ve seen this vibe before at Robatayaki Choi in Apgujeong Rodeo, Korea But the original here is much bigger and further away.. must be tough 😭 Suddenly, a staff member handed me a bingo card From the looks of it, I guess everyone was about to play bingo The staff at the front called out random numbers and we marked our cards I lost, of course ^^ (Still don’t know) But what was the prize anyway? 👀 No clue That was my last meal in Japan And just like that, my last night in Japan came to an end ㅠ_ㅠ Back in my room, I organized what I bought Mini Evo Polaroid and film refills were about 100,000 KRW cheaper than in Korea 🥹 (Trying something sweet these days) The Giorgio Armani perfume I wanted (About 50,000 KRW total) Two bottles of liquor (Monkey Shoulder whisky and Suntory Kakubin whisky) (2 bottles of sake from Ine village) Only available at Ine Funaya, perfect purchase Lawson convenience store ~ Don Quijote ~ That’s the end of my Japan shopping list share ^_^ Had to wake up early so I packed quickly and fell asleep .. ㅎㅎ (Yurim, when will you ever prepare early..) Always rushing footsteps I knew the airport limousine from New Hankyu would be crowded But not this crowded ............... (Say you’ll sit in the auxiliary seat and they’ll let you on first) I left in a rush, so I ended up on the auxiliary seat heading to the airport 🥲 I regretted not having ramen, so after checking my baggage, I went to the ramen shop at the airport (Hmm..) I ordered spicy ramen without an egg but it came with an egg? [Thought the menu picture wasn’t updated and just ate it] Huh? What are they saying .... I don’t understand Japanese ㅠ Didn’t know what was happening and it was taken away Turns out it was the wrong order .... (But it was pretty tasty 😫) No wonder the broth was so rich ☺️ ... Definitely seemed like a hot spot in Osaka Got a cute send-off and now I’m really leaving .. 💝 This solo trip to Osaka was truly so much fun I ate everything I wanted and did everything I wanted Of course, there were communication difficulties ..!! But the kind Japanese people helped and cared for me, so it was such a happy trip ❤︎ And I really want to mention the Kyoto North Tour, it was amazing !!!!!!!! 🔥🔥 I joined because I wanted to visit a new, quiet place outside Osaka city 💦 Too hard to go alone with the transportation and tolls! But I found this incredible tour ❤︎ Even though I was alone, it was so comfortable and they took great photos, so I was really happy :) Most of all, the guide was such a great storyteller that my satisfaction went way up :) It’s been a while since I joined such a satisfying tour and I highly recommend the Kyoto North Tour if you get the chance :) If you’re looking for Japan’s 3 great scenic views and Instagram spots, Ine Funaya + Amanohashidate are a must 🚨🚨 Did you find today’s video helpful too !!!!!! ❤︎ I hope this video was helpful to many of you 🙏 I’ll be back with another fun video >_< Ah! Thank you so so much for watching until the very end today too 🥹

곧 또 만나요 !! 👀

Hello everyone 🙂 Lately, I’ve been living such busy days 💦
Studying all day, working, and even preparing for a move… it feels like I’m living a 48-hour day. In the end, my body couldn’t keep up and I ended up pushing through with a bad cold ㅠ_ㅠ
Since it might take me a while to edit new videos, I decided to bring back and renew a trip from around this time last year—my Osaka trip! 🇯🇵
Last year, I went to a place that was once super popular on social media (feeling proud, haha). I decided to travel there after seeing just one photo of its stunning seaside scenery. It turned out to be near Osaka? And even Kyoto, which I’d never visited before? Not the usual crowded Kyoto tourist spots, but the northern part? There was no way I could miss it.🔥🔥
But honestly, this place was a bit tricky—it wasn’t easy to get there by rental car, and trains were inconvenient too. Trains didn’t run often, and the schedules made it hard to spend a full day effectively. So I looked into tours! In just half a day, I was able to see Amanohashidate—one of Japan’s three great scenic views—and the beautiful town of Ine Funaya. Even now, I’d still recommend a tour! These days, if you search “Ine Funaya Tour” online, lots of options come up, so just pick a time that fits your schedule and you’ll have an amazing trip 🙂 ❤︎
And since my trip was based in Osaka, of course I couldn’t skip out on an Osaka food trip!!! If you’ve watched my videos before, you already know—I really love eating and drinking (lol). My days in Osaka city were basically “eat, eat, and eat again.” So maybe don’t watch this video right before bed, haha. Oh! And even though it’s been a year, the places I visited are still popular spots with long lines in Osaka. Be sure to save them on Google Maps before your trip! I hope this video is helpful for your travels 🙏
On a personal note, I’m also preparing for a Chinese exam in September… Only about 10 days left now, and even if I focus only on studying, it’ll still be tough. But I can do it, right? ㅠㅠ I’ll take the exam quickly, and then bring back new videos for you 💝
I’ll see you again very soon!! 👀
