レトロ自販機レストランと未来風カプセルホテルに行く 栃木→埼玉 一泊の旅

Hello! I’m currently at Utsunomiya Station in Tochigi Prefecture. Today, I’d like to visit a retro vending machine shop. Its official name is “Nakayoshi Jihanki Corner.” I’ll rent a car and head there. It will take about an hour. Finally, I’ve arrived. The shop is located in the middle of a rural area. There are a variety of options. I’m hungry, so I’ll start with some soba noodles. Tanuki soba is 350 yen. Thank you for the meal. Sorry if the sound of me slurping the soba is unpleasant. In Japanese food culture, it’s customary to slurp noodles before eating. Oh, but we don’t slurp spaghetti. Thank you for the meal. It was delicious. Let’s take a closer look at the vending machines. There are machines selling rice balls, takoyaki, and french fries. This one is for snacks. This one is for tempura. They also have pizza. Cup noodles. A ramen vending machine. Udon and soba. Toast sandwiches. This one is a hamburger, but it looks cold. Cookies and biscuits. There’s a microwave in here? Surprise! This is a bento box vending machine. The hot hamburger vending machine seems to be out of order. What is this? Is it a badge? This is a candy vending machine. It looks like it was originally a cigarette vending machine. This is a shaved ice vending machine. This is rare. Popcorn. Ice cream. They also sell hot dogs, shumai, and burritos. This is candy. A Choco Ball vending machine? This is candy too. What? DVD-ROMs? It seems they also sell games. This is a candy and toy vending machine. There are four table-top game machines. I wanted to try Dr. Pepper Cherry because it’s rare, but it was sold out. They also sell canned oden. Ochazuke and miso soup. This is candy too. They also sell cat treats. I wonder if they’re out there somewhere? A gum vending machine. What is this? There’s a game machine inside the shed. Are they live streaming on YouTube? Let’s have a toast sandwich. It’s 300 yen. It’s hot, so I use tongs to pick it up. Let’s eat! It has ham and cheese inside. Delicious! The spices are great, and it’s even better than I imagined. Thank you for the meal. Hmm? The staff was restocking the udon and soba noodles, so I asked permission to take a look. Thank you. For dessert, we had shaved ice. It was cold and delicious! The place had a nice atmosphere. Now that I’m full, it’s time to head to my hotel. I head back to Utsunomiya Station. My hotel is in Saitama Prefecture, so I’ll travel by train. The train ride takes about an hour and a half. I arrived at Kitakoshigaya Station in Saitama Prefecture. The hotel is a one-minute walk from the station. My hotel is “HOTEL GALAXY POD.” It’s on the fourth floor of this building. The front desk is unmanned. I checked in online. Wow! This is my capsule. Wow! Futuristic? Or spaceship-style? The inside of the pod (capsule) is cool and comfortable. Let’s take a room tour. Hangers and headphones. Power outlet. Ventilation fan switch. Light switch. USB charger and TV switch. Mirror light switch. Reading light switch. Safety deposit box. There’s also a TV. Toothbrush set, hairbrush, shaving towel, and bath towel. Let’s explore the hotel. It’s an open space. You can eat and drink here. Powder room. It’s very clean. The shower room is also clean. I’ll be staying here tonight. Thank you for watching until the end.
