Tokyo Metro 17000 Series (Mitsubishi SiC) – Tsukishima to Toyosu (Yurakucho Line) 東京メトロ17000系 走行音
The Tokyo Metro 17000 Series (東京地下鉄7000系) is a type of electric multiple unit (EMU) operating on Fukutoshin Line (副都心線) and Yurakucho Line (有楽町線) that replaced the older 7000 Series. It is also capable of operating through services to various other operators, including Tobu Tojo Line, Seibu Yurakucho Line, Seibu Ikebukuro Line, Tokyu Toyoko Line and as far as Yokohama Minatomirai Line.
The 17000 Series were built by Hitachi to A-Train specifications. They were fitted with Mitsubishi Electric (for 10-cars) or Hitachi (for 8-cars) SiC-MOSFET–VVVF traction control system.
