Did you know that in Takaoka, Toyama, you can meet life-sized Doraemon and the whole gang?
They’re all hanging out at Takaoka Otogi-no-Mori Park — and it’s not just for photo ops. This is a proper park with big open lawns, a fun playground, and plenty of space for kids to run wild (mine definitely did 😄).
Takaoka is actually the hometown of Fujiko F. Fujio, the co-creator of Doraemon — so the whole setup is a sweet tribute to the beloved series.
It’s such a wholesome little detour if you’re in the area — especially if you’ve got kids or grew up watching Doraemon 💙
