圧巻の御神木が迎えてくれるこの神社は 阿波国一宮 そして 阿波国・淡路国 両国の総鎮守として1000年以上の歴史があり、今でも徳島県の総鎮守として信仰を集めています。
麻楮の種を播殖し麻布木綿を製して殖産興業の基を開き国利民福を進めた守護神として太祖天太玉命/大麻比古命（おおあさひこのみこと）を祀っています。

This shrine, where you will be greeted by a stunning sacred tree, has a history of over 1,000 years as the Ichinomiya of Awa Province and the guardian deity of both Awa and Awaji Provinces.It still attracts believers today as the guardian deity of Tokushima Prefecture.
The shrine enshrines Taiso Ame-no-Futatama-no-Mikoto/Oasahiko-no-Mikoto, the guardian deity who sowed hemp mulberry seeds and produced hemp cotton, laying the foundation for industrial development and promoting the nation’s profits and the welfare of its people.
