The present-generation Lilac is a fine Shin Nihonkai ferry, despite its age (although this ship reminds me of its ill-fated predecessor, gulp). But it's time with Shin Nihonkai is probably be numbered, due to its age. I wonder, is Shin Nihonkai building its successor?
Es ist immer ein Erlebnis Ihren Reisen mit zu verfolgen, es hat mich wieder sehr gefreut und ich war schon in Vorfreude. Diese Art zu Reisen, würde mir sehr gut gefallen. Einfach schön wie Sie uns soviel schildern .Und wie immer ein Gang in die tollen Bäder, diesmal mit Saunagang.Ihre Speisen sehen auch sehr Schmackhaft aus, Klasse die Japanische Küche .Schade, daß man bei den Stops das Schiff nicht verlaßen kann, aber ich denke das man ja auch in Etappen in diese Häfen Reisen kann, oder ? Und zu guter letzt hat ja auch das Wetter gestimmt. Nebenbei gesagt, ich habe mir heute einen Livestream vom Airport Fukuoka angeschaut, es scheint, daß es auf Kyushu wieder besser aussieht. 34小時的渡輪行程真的好長,如果沒網路那時間真的很難熬,我6月時為了搭這班船特意從高雄飛到新千歲,從那兒騎摩托車到苫小牧東港搭船前往秋田,當時去不像你的影片中那機車大排長龍,全部三個港的摩托車只有7台而已,看那影片中左邊排很長的摩托車隊伍應該是要去敦賀的
我從秋田港上岸後跑了田澤湖.乳頭溫泉再一路騎到龍飛岬,酸湯和奧入瀨溪流後到八戶搭船回苫小牧,再到札幌欣賞索朗祭後才回來高雄,真是一個愉快又趣味的渡輪+摩托車旅行!
홋카이도의 숲 사이로 달리는 기차가 낭만적입니다. 동시에 타게 될 페리가 보이는건 더 낭만적이군요ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

Visually, the opening and embarkation sequences were the most stunning experience I have seen on your channel yet. The evening skies, the walk to the ferry terminal as well as the very calm procedure handled by the staff and guests are absolutely riveting to watch. You can really tell, people who know and use this ferry route are exceptionally well behaved members of society. Even the group of guys who had a good time at around 13:30 don't come across as a nuisance, but rather, they seem to have a great time. What a treat to watch this video! Thank you. ✌
한국에는 저런 장거리 페리가 없어서 아쉬워요.
Another great trip and video. I noticed that one poor gull in Akita was missing one of his feet. He seems healthy otherwise and manages to stand up well. I really enjoy these videos and find them very relaxing to watch.
Now that covid is over, its good to see people on the ferries again. More fun to watch.

苫小牧東港から敦賀へは1泊2日で運行するフェリーもあるけど、それは到着が夜の9時くらいになって敦賀にあるホテルに泊まることを考えたら今回の寄港便の方がお得感を感じますよね
This looked like a relaxing peaceful trip. Even the seagulls looked relaxed. Food looked good on board. The ship definitely isn't new but it looked comfortable and reasonably priced. It's nice having a full bathroom and balcony. Seemed like a very pleasant trip. 🐺

厚真駅からの徒歩乗船は熊が出没する危険があるので、お勧めしないでください。新日本海フェリーさんでも南千歳駅からのバスをおすすめしているはずです。
今は熊が出没し過ぎていて見かけても通報しない方が多くいます。
たとえ出没情報がなくても人里離れた道は危険だと思ってください。

先日、苫小牧から敦賀への直行便に乗りました。こちらも乗りたいのですが、週１便の制約がハードル高い🥲
どちらも、乗って寝て起きたら下船ではなくて、昼間の時間をたっぷり海の上で過ごせるのが魅力だと思います。

Great trip. That's station before you starting your journey with ferry is something, if it's daytime it's okay to disembark there. To be honest, I like the vehicle management for this ferry route, since it's connecting more than two places, the vehicle is groups by their destination. It's also great to mention that SNF using Eastern Port even though it sailing from Sea of Japan which located on the west, meanwhile Ferry Company like MOL Sunflower and Taiheiyo Ferry which usually sailing in Pacific on Eastern using Western port. Overall great ferry, great cabin, great food, and great facilities, even there's special tourists cabin for short sailing between Akita and Niigata, despite both cities are well connected on land transportation. Bit curious, is the northbound route of this ferry is using same route or they will be sailing directly to Tomakomai from Tsuruga?
Thank you, I feel relaxed, you're doing a food job I just don't understand the slight hint of disappointment when there are clouds during sunrise and sunset. It's how the other actors among the main characters (sun and sky) add flavor, drama and color to ongoing performance😊

Thanks for sharing this video. I took the Taiheiyo ferry in 2024, and it was amazing. But I didn't know that there were two major ferry terminals in Tomakomai. The west ferry terminal has public transport access, which is far more friendly for backpackers. In contrast, the east ferry terminal, which you showed in this video, seems designed to prevent people from using it without a motor vehicle.
