炎のリトリート[大松明の火がすべてを浄化する]山梨県南巨摩郡南部町・南部の火祭り/ The Healing Fire “Nanbu Fire Festival” Fire torch burning

火にはさまざまなものを浄化する作用があるといわれています。
また、焚き火のよう小さな火であっても、見ているだけで心が安らぎます。

火の効果を最大限に感じていただきながら、心の浄化や癒しを感じていただければと
思い、大きな力強い火の映像を捉えに行ってきました。

この南部の火祭り（なんぶのひまつり）は、山梨県南巨摩郡南部町を舞台に、お盆に開催されるお祭り。2025年8月15日の模様です。

その中の大松明(おおたいまつ)の火をお届けします。

大松明は南部町内の各寺院から古くなった卒塔婆を集め、積み重ねて仕上げたもの。
使用された卒塔婆の数は約3万本で、高さは6メートルを超える。
午後7時頃に僧侶による読経が流れながら、町内の中学生によって点火されました。

It is said Fire have the power to purify various things.
Even a small fire, such as a bonfire, can calm the mind just by looking at it.

With the hope that you may experience the full effects of fire and feel a sense of purification and healing,
we went to capture the powerful imagery of a large, vigorous fire.

This Southern Fire Festival (Nambu no Himatsuri) is held in Nambu Town, Minamikoma District, Yamanashi Prefecture, during the Obon period. The footage is from August 15, 2025.

We present the fire of the Great Torch (Ootai-matsu) from within the festival.

The Great Torch is made by collecting old stupa from temples within Nanbu Town, stacking them, and finishing them.

Approximately 30,000 stupa were used, and the height exceeds 6 meters.
Around 7 p.m., while monks chanted sutras, the torch was lit by middle school students from the town.
