寝台特急「サンライズ出雲」シングルツインで行く東京→出雲市 12時間の旅

Good evening! I’m currently at Tokyo Station. Today, I’m traveling to Izumo City on the Sunrise Izumo sleeper express train. I’m in a single twin seat, but I’m traveling alone. The distance is 953.6 km and the journey takes approximately 12 hours. The fare was 25,110 yen. The Sunrise does not have a dining car or on-board sales, so I purchased dinner in advance. I board from platform 9. The Sunrise arrives at Tokyo Station around 9:25 PM. First, I purchase a shower card. They sell out quickly. They cost 330 yen. Cars 1-7 of the Sunrise train are the Sunrise Seto, and cars 8-14 are the Sunrise Izumo. They separate at Okayama Station and head to their respective destinations. I’m scheduled to arrive at my final destination, Izumo-shi Station, at 10:00 the next morning. This is my private room today. It’s a bunk-bed type room. It’s compact. The “Single Twin” is a private room for two people, but can also be used by one person. Sunrise offers two types of private rooms for two people: “Single Twin” and “Sunrise Twin.” The “Sunrise Twin” is a private room with beds arranged side by side. Loungewear and bedding are provided for two people. Since I’m traveling alone, I’ll use the lower bunk as a seat. The train departs Tokyo Station at 9:50 PM, right on schedule. Let’s take a room tour. The radio service has ended. The light switch. This is the heater control switch. The clock. This appears to be the switch for opening and closing the curtains on the upper bunk. The air conditioner’s airflow can be adjusted. The private room has a lock. There are also hangers for two people. Here are the stairs to the upper bunk. It looks like there’s room for luggage. This is the upper bunk bed. There’s a storage compartment here. The switches are the same as on the lower bunk. I had a hard time finding an outlet, but I found one here. The upper bunk bed appears to be foldable, but since I’m traveling alone, I’ll leave it as is. I’m hungry. The dinner menu was sushi and lemon sour with lemon slices. For some reason, I always crave sushi whenever I ride the Sunrise. Wow! Let’s eat. Delicious! The sushi is delicious, too. Thank you for the meal. We arrived at Atami Station. There’s no one there. Let’s explore the train. You can set your own password for the exterior lock. This is the toilet. The sink has both hot and cold water. We’ve reached the front car. Up ahead is the “Sunrise Seto” car. I was able to see the driver’s cab. We’re not in the restricted area. This is the shared lounge. Shower cards are sold out. This is a car with A-class private rooms, including “Single Deluxe” and “Sunrise Twin. ” This is a car with “Nobi Nobi Seats.” This is a “Solo” seat. This is the most compact private room. I’ve tried the shower room many times, but it’s always occupied. I’ll take a shower tomorrow morning. I’m going to bed now. Good night. Good morning. At the next station, Okayama Station, the train will detach from the Sunrise Seto. The detachment process is popular. Bye-bye, Sunrise Seto. Time to take a shower. On the Sunrise, you cannot use the shower room without a shower card. Once you insert the card, you’re ready to go. You can use the shower for 6 minutes. After use, the shower room is cleaned for the next person. Beautiful scenery continues. The end of our journey is approaching. Thank you! Sunrise. We’ll go to Izumo Taisha Shrine and call it a day. It takes about 27 minutes by bus from Izumo-shi Station to Izumo Taisha Shrine. Thank you for watching until the end. If you enjoyed it, please subscribe to our channel. See you again!
