It has been selected as one of the “100 Best Swimming Beaches” by the Ministry of the Environment. It is located slightly south of Kamayahama Beach, with the Shirakami Mountains visible to the north. Also visible are the rows of wind turbines at Kamaya Beach To the south, you can enjoy views of the Oga Three Mountains and the Oga Peninsula. Oya Beach (Miyagi Prefecture) Oya Beach is a beautiful sandy beach located in northeastern Miyagi Prefecture. It has been selected as one of the “100 Best Swimming Beaches” by the Ministry of the Environment. The coastline stretches for about 2 km with a shallow seabed and sandy beach, but much of the sandy beach was lost in the tsunami caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake. In the summer of 2021, it was reopened as a swimming beach after 11 years. The “Oya Coast Roadside Station” is located right behind the coast, making it convenient to access, and you can also purchase fresh seafood and products from the Sanriku region. Oisehama (Miyagi Prefecture) Oisehama Beach is a sandy beach located northeast of Oya Coast. It has been selected as one of the “100 Best Swimming Beaches” by the Ministry of the Environment. The tsunami caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake destroyed the sandy beach and pine forest, but in the summer of 2022, it was revived as a beach for the first time in 12 years. Along with “Geibikei” in Iwate Prefecture and “Yabakei” in Oita Prefecture. Saga-kei is one of the “Three Great Ravines of Japan”. Otomegahama Beach Saga-kei is usually viewed from a sightseeing boat, but you can also take the Saga-kei Walkway You can see several beautiful sandy beaches surrounded by cliffs. Otomegahama Beach is located at the end of the Saga-kei Trail. In front of the beach, you can see Namijima Island with a lighthouse towering above it. Kayanosaki Genda Beach ( Miyagi Prefecture ) Genda Beach is a hidden beach in the middle of the Saganei Trail. From the beach, you can see the oddly shaped rocks of Saga-kei floating offshore. 釜谷浜(かまやはま)海水浴場は、秋田県北西部に位置する砂浜で、環境省の「快水浴場百選」に選定されています。海岸線に約3kmにわたって並ぶ風力発電も見所です。

■宮沢海水浴場 ( 秋田県 )
宮沢(みやざわ)海水浴場は、秋田県男鹿市にある海水浴場で、環境省の「快水浴場百選」に選定されています。

■鵜ノ崎海岸 ( 秋田県 )
鵜ノ崎(うのさき)海岸は、男鹿半島南部にある海岸で、「日本の渚100選」に選定されています。干潮時には海岸線から200mほどの浅瀬が現れます。

■西浜海水浴場 ( 山形県 )
西浜(にしはま)海水浴場は、山形県北西部に位置する砂浜で、環境省の「快水浴場百選」に選定され、「白砂青松100選」にも選ばれています。

■由良海岸 ( 山形県 )
由良(ゆら)海岸は、山形県北西部に位置する海岸で、「日本の渚100選」に選定されています。由良のシンボルである「白山島」が沖に浮かび、環境省の「快水浴場百選」にも選ばれています。

■蕪島海水浴場 ( 青森県 )
蕪島(かぶしま)は、青森県八戸市の近郊に位置する島で、約4万羽のウミネコが営巣し、国の「天然記念物」に指定されており、「音風景百選」にも選ばれています。

■大須賀海岸 ( 青森県 )
大須賀(おおすか)海岸は、青森県の種差海岸にある砂浜で、「日本の渚100選」に選定されています。「鳴き砂」の浜としても知られています。

■白浜海水浴場 ( 青森県 )
白浜(しらはま)海水浴場は、種差海岸にある砂浜で、環境省の「快水浴場百選」に選定されています。

■北山浜 ( 岩手県 )
北山浜(きたやまはま)は、絶景海岸「北山崎」の南方にある砂浜で、ビーチの両端には切り立つ断崖絶壁が迫ります。

■真崎海岸海水浴場 ( 岩手県 )
真崎(まさき)海岸海水浴場は、岩手県宮古市に位置する砂浜で、環境省の「快水浴場百選」に選定されています。

■女遊戸海水浴場 ( 岩手県 )
女遊戸(おなっぺ)海水浴場は、岩手県宮古市に位置する砂浜で、環境省の「快水浴場百選」に選定されています。

■浄土ヶ浜 ( 岩手県 )
浄土ヶ浜(じょうどがはま)は、岩手県宮古市にある海岸で、三陸海岸を代表する景勝地の1つです。浄土ヶ浜は環境省の「快水浴場百選」の「特選」に選ばれ、「日本の渚100選」にも選定されています。

■浪板海岸 ( 岩手県 )
浪板(なみいた)海岸は、岩手県の大槌町に位置する砂浜で、寄せる波はあっても返す波のない「片寄せ波」で有名でした。(※東日本大震災の後は、「片寄せ波」が見られません。)

■高田松原 ( 岩手県 )
高田松原(たかたまつばら)は、岩手県南東部にあった松原で、東日本大震災の大津波によって消失しました。国の「名勝」に指定され、「日本の渚100選」や「白砂青松100選」にも選ばれていました。

■大谷海岸 ( 宮城県 )
大谷(おおや)海岸は、宮城県北東部にある美しい砂浜で、環境省の「快水浴場百選」に選定されています。東日本大震災の津波で失われましたが、2021年夏に海水浴場として復活しました。

■お伊勢浜 ( 宮城県 )
お伊勢浜(おいせはま)海水浴場は大谷海岸の北東に近接する砂浜で、環境省の「快水浴場百選」に選定されています。東日本大震災の津波で失われましたが、2022年夏に海水浴場として復活しました。

■奥松島 嵯峨渓 ( 宮城県 )
嵯峨渓(さがけい)は「日本三景」松島の奥地にある景勝地で、「日本三大渓」の一つに数えられ、美しい砂浜が、いくつか見られます。

■奥松島 源田浜 ( 宮城県 )
源田浜は「嵯峨渓遊歩道」の途中にある隠れたビーチで、浜辺から沖に浮かぶ嵯峨渓の奇岩群を見られます。

■奥松島 大浜海岸 ( 宮城県 )
大浜(おおはま)海岸は「嵯峨渓遊歩道」の起点にあるビーチで、夏は奥松島随一の海水浴場としても賑わいます。

■大洲海岸 ( 福島県 )
大洲(おおす)海岸は、松川浦の砂洲の外海側にある砂浜で、「日本の渚百選」に選定されています。

■双葉海水浴場 ( 福島県 )
双葉(ふたば)海水浴場は、福島県中東部に位置する砂浜で、福島第一原子力発電所から最も近い海水浴場でした。
