【北海道車中泊】ホテルいらずの快適車中泊旅のはずが旅行下手すぎ…【ヤドキャリー】
This time I’m heading from Chubu Centrair International Airport in Aichi Prefecture to New Chitose Airport in Hokkaido. I’m not good with airplanes, so I’m prepared to die on this big trip, and my heart is pounding! Once I arrive safely at New Chitose Airport, I’ll head to Shiroishi Station in Sapporo. From there, I’ll borrow a YADO CARRY light truck camper and head to Midori Campsite along Lake Shikotsu in Chitose City. It started to rain on the way, but the side awning helped us, and we were able to enjoy some delicious chanchanyaki and a relaxing camping experience . For an introduction to this YADO CARRY light truck camper, please see the previous video. The day after camping, I headed for my long-awaited Hokkaido car camping trip! First, to fill our stomachs, we head to eat some delicious soup curry recommended by Hokkaido car camping influencer Marunana. We arrive at Lamai Chitose store. The hour-long wait was worth it. Lunch with Marunana is a sure sign that it’s ready to go in an instant. When you think of Hokkaido, you think of soup curry. Take a bite first. This is a popular restaurant that will have you dying of food . It ‘s a taste that will make you want to go back again. We ‘re currently on a car camping trip in Hokkaido . The day before, we camped with Marunana at the Midori Campground and had soup curry before we disbanded. Now I’d like to go sightseeing in Hokkaido and camp in the car, but… the highly anticipated bath has been canceled. First, I’ll take a bath before enjoying Hokkaido♪ It’s currently 2:15pm, which is surprisingly good time… I’ll take a bath and sightsee at just one more place before heading to my car camping spot. There were several public baths on the way to my destination, but I thought I might as well take a dip in a hot spring, so I headed to Takeyama Kogen Onsen, recommended by Marunana again. I heard it was in the middle of the forest and wondered what it would be like, but as soon as I turned right onto the main road, I was suddenly in the forest – truly the land of the north! The cute exterior reminds me of a Hokkaido cottage. I can’t help but buy something at the Chapon souvenir corner. The parking lot is spacious and it’s a hot spring where you can also relax with your camper. The brown water made my body smooth. I arrived at my desired destination. It seems to be cheaper for Sapporo residents. I wanted to see the grazing sheep with Clark, so I went to Sapporo Hitsujigaoka Observatory. I climbed to the top. The parking lot seemed convenient with little movement. Since it was a minicar, parking was easy. I heard there are lavender fields, but is this it? A very spacious observation deck. This is what I wanted to do. Marumi, be ambitious!! Apparently there are sheep grazing here, but there weren’t any… Traveling alone can be lonely at times, but I’m fabricating memories into a group trip. The sheep took refuge in the sheep shed during the summer heat. There was a separate lavender field, but I have to try the lavender soft serve. Thank you … It was pretty tasty, but I regret not getting the Yubari melon soft serve. I’ll ring it to cheer me up. I bought up all sorts of souvenirs. I was actually planning to sleep in my car at an RV park or something, but… I couldn’t get a reservation anywhere because it was a three-day weekend… I was looking into roadside stations, but a viewer contacted me and said it was OK to sleep in their garden, so I’m heading there now. Even on a trip, my rain woman is in full swing , as you’d expect from snowy Hokkaido! The traffic lights were vertical. After driving for about an hour, it was already nighttime. A viewer’s adorable cat. For dinner, we had Genghis Khan! 。 I’m grateful to this wonderful couple ♡ It’s cool, but the humidity is so high so I opened the windows to let in some fresh air I’m sleeping in the car in a viewer’s garden, and I’m so happy to be able to enjoy delicious Genghis Khan and play with a cute cat It’s so much fun It’s an encounter you can only make on a trip, or rather an encounter that can only be made on a trip I love Hokkaido ♡ This time I’m also enjoying Hokkaido food Since I’m sleeping in the car, snack time is essential I have a spare snack I’ll just take a quick peek It’s a small appliance that you can carry on a trip It’s 260W so it takes time, but since I’m on a leisurely trip, I don’t mind I’m weak for limited edition items at travel destinations It’s 1.5 times the size of the regular product (?) Today’s snack is Hokkaido honey cafe au lait and a cousin of Hokkaido butter that I saw at the hot springs??? Looks delicious It ‘s intriguing because it’s a cousin so I bought it A signal to sell it in an instant If it’s a cousin of Hokkaido butter, does that mean it’s richer ? The packaging was so careful Did I really buy butter??? Am I eating butter? It wasn’t butter (relief) My hands are starting to get shiny It really does feel like a cousin of butter Looks delicious! This is dangerously delicious! It tastes like butter between a crepe and a waffle (?). I think you’ll agree once you try it. I’ll also have the honey cafe au lait. Super honey cafe au lait (no vocabulary) . Hokkaido is famous for honey, as you’d expect from Hokkaido. You can drink hot coffee even on a midsummer night. It’s raining quite a bit, but it’s still easy to drink after a meal. I don’t have a galley , so it’s wet. I’m traveling, so I’ll wash it after I get home. I’m glad I brought lots of Sierra cups. Even on my trip, I end up lazing around watching videos. One more thing to do before bed. It’s about time for bed, so I’m going to go to bed. The breeze is blowing, so it’s relatively cool. What temperature is it? Maybe 25°C? It’s raining, but it doesn’t feel that humid, so I think I’ll be able to sleep comfortably. The light remote control is so convenient ( ˘ω˘ ) Sniff… Sleeping in a real parking lot It’s surprisingly cold in the middle of the night, so the sleeping bag comes in handy Just when I got used to unfolding the bed, the camping trip in the light truck came to an end, and I feel sad Making a quick breakfast Apparently corn is called ‘toukibi’ in Hokkaido It seems you can eat it just by grilling it It’s completely mochi I didn’t add any oil so it’s sticking to me It’s turned out more whitish than golden brown I do n’t want you to lick my stomach It’s a sign of instant death I love mochi so much I even drink corn Speaking of Hokkaido, there’s haskap drinking yogurt A drink that kills two birds with one stone This is also delicious Ho On hotel trips, I want to eat out and eat local food, but when I’m camping or car camping, I want to eat local, commercially available food. But last night’s Genghis Khan was really delicious. The corn mochi was so good that I ended up ordering some on Rakuten later… It’s a piece of cake to eat breakfast . Today is the last day of car camping, but from tonight I’ll be staying in a hotel and enjoying Hokkaido, so I’ll have a lot of luggage, so I’ll send it home first by courier. I bought too many souvenirs and they didn’t fit in my carry-on bag, so I’ll mail the things I’ll use for car camping first. I’m ready to go. Car camping with the YADO CARRY was great. I’m going to return the car now. I uploaded a car introduction video for this Hokkaido trip in the video before this one, but at that time I camped in the car at the Midori Campground and then camped alone. But by alone, I mean I had lunch with Marunana At night, I ate Genghis Khan at a viewer’s house and borrowed a parking space to sleep in my car, so it didn’t feel like I was alone, but Hokkaido is huge after all . I thought it was relatively close, so I thought I’d go sightseeing, but when I looked it up, it looked close on the map, but in terms of distance, it was always about a two-hour drive, so I couldn’t plan it well at all… If I were to tour Hokkaido in one night and two days, I couldn’t see that much… I realized that if I wanted to see various places around Sapporo, I might be able to go to several places, but outside of Sapporo, I couldn’t see anything in one night and two days. Next time I come to Hokkaido, I want to take it easy and travel around various places for almost a week just sleeping in my car. This time, I was only able to go to a small part of central Hokkaido, so if there are various places in eastern Hokkaido, I would like to have a little more time. This time, I borrowed YADO I slept in my car in my CARRY and I’d heard a lot about how hot it’s been in Hokkaido recently, but it was still very cool. Of course, there’s no air conditioning, so I was worried about it being too hot at night, but even without a fan, if I opened both the ventilation fan and the windows, the air flowed through and it was cool enough. If I had to say, I think it would be more comfortable to come in June or September and not sweat at all . Even though it’s Hokkaido, July is still summer, so it’s much better than hot Nagoya.
