新しいドゥルーリー プラザ ホテル ピジョン フォージの完全ツアー | 無料の食事、プール、客室など!
On today’s adventure, we’re bringing you on a full tour of the Drury Plaza Hotel in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. This dog friendly hotel is only 5 minutes from Dollywood and very close to the island in Pigeon Forge. Our goal is to give you a good look at the three different types of rooms that they offer. We’ll also bring you into their fitness center, indoor pool, and splash pad, as well as their outdoor hot tub and fire pits that are right along the Little Pigeon River. One of the great things about the Drury Plaza Hotel is that it not only includes a hot breakfast with your stay, but also includes free popcorn, soda, plus their kickback dinner served every night. We’ll go over everything offered at their hot breakfast and dinner along with their kitchen and bar menu that stays open until midnight. At the end of this video, we’ll show you how to get to the hidden trail behind the hotel and go over some other restaurants you can walk to. So whether you’re looking for a Pigeon Forge Hotel or just want to see what a Drury Plaza Hotel is like, we hope you enjoy this video. So we’re over by Dollywood. The GPS says the Drury Hotel is about 4 minutes from here. We’re just going to go down a Jake Thomas Road. [Music] which is also very close to the Ripken Experience, the baseball fields up here. They’ve got a number of hotels that they’ve put in over here to the right, but got a fantastic view of the mountains. So, it’s got very easy access to Dollywood going down that Jake Thomas road we just took and tester Lane right here. If I took a right, that would get us over to the island in Pigeon Forge, the Mountain Mile. So, this is very centrally located. So, let’s pull in and uh check this place out that’s now open. Now that we made it to the Drury Plaza Hotel in Pigeon Forge, I want to point out there’s no cost for parking. They have this pretty massive parking garage that they built over here. Once you get checked in and get a room key, you’ll be able to park over there with your room key at no additional charge. So, let’s go inside and check this place out. You can see they have some carts that you can put your luggage on. And the front desk is over here on the left that you can get checked in at over here. They’ve got lots of seating if you’re wanting to just hang out down here in the lobby or you’re waiting to get checked in with a fireplace. That’s not on at the moment, but I do notice some little places that you can plug in and charge a phone. So, if you’ve been on a long trip to get here and anybody needs to charge something while you’re waiting, they can go do that. They also have this little business center area. Got some high top seating with another TV over on the wall. This is kind of their little market area with a number of different last minute things perhaps you forgot. Razors and different medicines, snacks, and they have a number of different drinks over here. Here. It looks like they have some Oh, snap pickles, which my family loves those. Some different Uncrustables, ice cream, and even some little pizzas. So, if any point you’re here, you want to grab something, you can just go up and pay for it at the front desk where you get checked in. Lots of great Smoky Mountains artwork back behind the front desk. And this place is just very nice, very spacious. You can see this other front entrance which also has some luggage carts. So, you can pull up on the front or the side as I came in. You’ve got some elevators. We’re going to go up and check out a room in just a moment. Also check out the pool. But let’s go down here and talk about the food, which I think is a really great thing about this particular place. Got another TV over here in the corner. Lots of seating for breakfast or their kickback dinner. They’ve got this coffee area that looks like it’s open all day long with all sorts of things. I noticed they sometimes serve up some popcorn over here. And they have a drink machine that you can come over and use for their dinner time. But let me show you what they serve for breakfast, which as a guest, hot breakfast is included. So, let me walk you over and show you everything that you get for breakfast. They’ve got some 2% milk, marshmallow cereal, rice checks, Cheerios, Raisin brand, and looks like they have two waffle makers over here with some hot syrup. Then over here, we’ve got some different salsa and some yogurt, some hard-boiled eggs, some things to put in your oatmeal. Some oatmeal. Got some muffins and some bagels. English muffins. Some different bread up here. Toaster. Some cream cheese, peanut butter, honey, different jellies and jams. And we have some fruit over here and some cut up fruit in the middle. They’ve got some tortillas and some ODM Tennessee pride sausage. We’ve got some breakfast potatoes and some buttermilk biscuits. And then here on the end, looks like they have some gravy you can put on your biscuits. And over here, they do have a bunch of pancakes that they’re making fresh on the griddle. And on this side, they have some country fresh regular scrambled eggs as well as some bacon cheddar scrambled eggs that you can get. So, there is a look at all of the different things you can come down here and get for breakfast. There’s lots of space. I’ve been in some places when the hotel is at full capacity and you’re elbow to elbow. So, lots of space, lots of options down here at their breakfast. In addition to their hot breakfast, they also have a 5:30 kickback every day. It goes from 5:30 to 7:00 and they’ll have a number of different things. You can just grab a plate as a guest here. And they have three different styles of food that rotate. They have a taco night, they have a pasta night, and then they also do a barbecue night. In addition to their pasta, taco, and barbecue night, every night, each guest that’s 21 and over can come over to this bar, and you’re able to get three different adult beverages in the course of your stay here. So, that’s a really nice feature. So, this is kind of their little buffet area that they have their breakfast and dinner. So, if you missed their breakfast or you did not make it back cuz you’re over at Dollywood or in the park, you can come over to their kitchen and bar, which opens up at 11 a.m. and it closes down at midnight. They actually have a menu over here. So, they serve up a number of appetizers and salads, sandwiches, melts, and tenders, as well as some 12-in pizzas. They also serve up some desserts, including a root beer float and ice cream scoop for $4.50. 50 along with all the different drinks that they can serve here to you at a table or if you go up to the bar. So nice big spacious lobby and dining area that again you can enjoy that included breakfast and dinner. Not a lot of places do the dinner. So from the front lobby, dining, buffet, kitchen and bar. I think we should head over here to the elevators, which if we keep walking down, we’ll make it to the pool and the fitness center and the outside hot tub. So, I’ll be showing you those in just a little bit. But, let’s go up the elevator to check out what our room is like. So, I’m inside a family suite which has some different artwork on the wall of the area. You got these two chairs and little table. This is a pull out couch in this living room area that the kids can sleep on. Got the TV out here. And then we come to this middle area with an iron iron board, luggage rack. Got some storage right here. And it looks like a little mini fridge right here. It’s a little bit on the smaller side, but you do have a microwave in your room. We have a coffee maker right here with some different coffees. And it looks like you have an extra blanket and pillow up here. So, this is a little storage area in the middle with a full-size mirror across from the bathroom here. So, you have a standup shower. As you go in, they do provide for you shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. So, pretty good sized bathroom. Very well lit with this mirror. And it does look like you get a hair dryer. So, this is the shared bathroom. Then you go into this bedroom which you can close the door. It’s got some wallpaper with some trees up on the wall. You got a TV over here with a stand. Little chair sitting out this window which this is the view on this side of the hotel. Believe somebody’s purchased this building right here that’s got abandoned. So maybe somebody will do something with it in the future. But that is that Jake Thomas road that we took that it will only take you 4 to 5 minutes to go down and you’re right there at Dollywood. So that’s the view from this side which you can sit in this little chair table. Each side has a little end table. This has got an alarm clock with some USB outlets and standard outlets to charge whatever you need. So, that side has the alarm clock and you’ve got the little switches here for the lights. And you also have an ability to charge anything you need. Right here, they do have some great Smoky Mountains National Park artwork. I love this piece of metal art on the wall which has hooks you can put up whatever you need. Looks like the old mill. But there is a look at what a suite is like here at the Drury Plaza in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. I also forgot to point out this artwork in the bathroom of the Pigeon Forge y’all come back sign. So hopefully this gives you a better idea of what a suite is like. Think we should go check out another room real quick. As we work to the next room, I just want to show you the view from this side of the hotel. You get a little bit more of a mountain view looking down at the river. You can also see they have an ice machine here in the corner by the elevators. Let’s check out this next room. So, we’re now in a standard double queen. You have some storage when you first walk into the room. The same refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker that we saw. And then you have the bathroom to the right here. Looks very similar to the suite. I can’t notice anything different from what we just checked out, but you just have this one main open room with two queen beds. So, same similar setup. You just have one little nightstand in the middle here with the alarm clock with USB. You each have your own light. You got the AC control on the wall here and the same metal artwork with hooks over here. Looking very similar to the old mill. You got your desk and TV. Got one little chair, little table here, lamp up above. And this, in my opinion, is the better of the two views, as you have this nice little place to sit or lay and look out at this view, which is actually better over here on this corner of the building. So, you can actually see the mountains. You can look down and see the hot tub. And this is probably really pretty to look at at night, especially Christmas time when the bridge lights up with Christmas lights. But you get a pretty good view of the mountains from up top here on this side of the building. But hopefully this gives you a better idea of what a standard double queen room is like here at the Drury Plaza Hotel in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Let’s go see what else we can find. One last room I want to show you is the king room, which looks very similar to the double queen we just checked out, except that it has a single king bed. Otherwise, the bathroom looks exactly the same. And you have a nightstand on this side of the bed and that side of the bed. Same chair setup. And I would prefer this view of the hotel if it’s available. Again, very similar to that queen room. But if you’re debating what to get, hopefully this video will help you determine which one’s best for you. Before we head downstairs, I did want to check out the guest laundry, which is located on the eighth floor. I made it up here to the guest laundry. I counted about five or six different machines and it cost $3 to use. I didn’t see any type of laundry detergent in there to use. You could get that down at the pantry by the front desk or bring your own. But let me talk about what’s nearby this hotel. As I go down the hallway, looking out at this side of the building, I wanted to point out that if you’re looking for something different for lunch or dinner, you can go to the tavern on the corner here. There’s also a Tijana Flats, a Scoops ice cream, and you have a Food City grocery store right over here. It has a Starbucks inside. So, if you want to walk to something, those are a few close options in this direction. And if I walk down the hallway to look out the window on this side, you have the Lacant Convention Center on this side. So, very convenient hotel if you’re doing something at the Lant Convention Center. from this bridge over to the island. I believe it’s like a half a mile walk. So, it is walkable if you want to go down this little path along the river and you could be over at the island in Pigeon Forge. Now that we’ve checked out what the rooms are like, I think we need to go check out the fitness center and the pool and the hot tub. Just also wanted to show you over here. There’s some more seating that you can use. So, let’s go check out the fitness center right over here real quick and then we’ll go check out the pool. The fitness center is open 24 hours a day. you want to come down here and hop on one of their ellipticals or on one of their treadmills. They have some TVs up above both the treadmills and the ellipticals that you could use. They have a water fountain and a little shelf over here with some hooks if you want to put any of your things over here. lots of free weights and some other machines that you can use here at their fitness center. They also have some mirrors over on this wall with a view out at the parking garage. So, if you are looking to get a workout in while you’re staying here at the Drury Plaza Hotel in Pigeon Forge, you’re able to do it down here in the fitness center. I think we need to go check out the pool real quick, though. Pool is open from 9:00 a.m. till 1000 p.m. every day. As you first come in, they do have some towels for you. Over here to the left, they got lots of different tables that you can sit in. It is a heated pool and they do have a splash pad over here for the little ones. And up on the wall, they do have some artwork from the Great Smoky Mountains. But no matter what time of year it is, you’re able to enjoy the pool here that is heated year round with a max depth of 4 ft. Looks like you have a little place to sit that goes all the way down to the other end. Lots of chairs along this side which give you a view of a little walkway here I’ll talk about in just a little bit. But here is a look at the indoor pool at the Drury Plaza Hotel. I think we should uh go outside and check out the hot tub. And they did tell me that these doors can open up. They’re finishing up some construction right now, but these doors can completely open up when the weather is nice. So, you could walk out right through here. I’m going to go through this door. They have lots of furniture out here around the outdoor hot tub that is open all year round. So whether it’s a nice summer day like right now, you can come out here in the evening or whatever time, they got some rockers along the river here, which has a little glass that you can come right up to. And this is a really nice walking trail. During the Christmas months, they actually load it up with Christmas lights, so you’re very close to this river walk. typically starts in the beginning of November and runs into February. Got a little area over here which has more rocking chairs along the river and lots of different seating over here with some different fire pits. They’re not on right now here in the middle of the day, but at night you can come relax out in this little courtyard in the back. And if you are trying to get out of the weather, they do have this indoor patio, which I do see some heaters up above. So, if it is a colder time of year, you can still eat outside. Some of the different dinner or breakfast options. Looks like they have some outdoor windows that open up for the bar that you can watch from the TVs. There’s a TV over in this corner. So, lots of outdoor covered patio seating. If we come outside the hotel over by the parking garage and the handicap parking that they have over here, I want to show you this little path. This is where you can access the Pigeon Forge greenway. This little riverwalk area that is, as I mentioned before, very well decorated come November, December, January, and February with lots of Christmas lights. They have a little statue over here. And I think this will look even better over time as all of the plants that they planted begin to mature. But this is a nice little path that brings you right past the pool and will drop you off on this trail that you can ride bikes on. It is a pet friendly trail. So if you are staying here with your pet, they have lots of little stations along the way. So that is how you would access the river walk. As I mentioned before, could go for about a half mile walk down here would get to the island in Pigeon Forge or you could walk down the river walk. This way will get you over to the old mill if you’re going to have breakfast or dinner. So, nice little path in the back here. That’s going to wrap up our look at the Jury Plaza Hotel in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. I really like this place. I love the location, especially if you’re wanting to spend some time at Dollywood or go over to the national park. It’s very centrally located here in Pigeon Forge. It is dog friendly. So, if you do travel with a dog, you’re able to stay here. And I love the fact that you not only get breakfast included, but they also serve that kickback dinner from 5:30 to 7:00 every day. So, if I’m traveling with kids and I want to grab one of these suites, that’s just very convenient that breakfast and dinner are taken care of. And I also love that they have the indoor pool and the hot tub that are open year round. But hopefully this video has been helpful. If it has been, do us a big favor. Simply like the video before you leave. Feel free to ask any questions or share your thoughts or experience if you have stayed here down in the comment section. Thanks so much for watching. Ditto-being Midwesterners we have stayed at Drury many times with our critters. Never disappoints.
Pleasure to meet you in the lobby at Drury Thursday evening. I can't believe I met the rockstar AIOT.
great video.already booked our stay at the compass because of your other video. we will have to come back and try this place
have they finished replacing the bridge by the old mill
Being freshly opened, they have a few kinks to work out but not a bad place to sleep. Not sure if I'd stay again without the introductory special price or some specific reason.
There are other places about the same cost with similar amenities…I don't drink so 3 free alcohol drinks per person per evening doesn't entice me.
We just pasted this hotel yesterday and thought it was a very nice location to everything around here.
Nice hotel. Love that it is connected to the River Walk. While reviewing these hotels, please show an ADA room, if they have them. Their website actually showed pictures of their ADA rooms, not all hotels do. However, it didn't say what floor they were on. That is always nice to know. Love the ground floor, in case the power goes out and the elevator doesn't work.
We love Drury Hotel,we just stayed here last night,I’m so glad they got one in Pigeon Forge
@adventureisoutthere just seen you and Brie on TV at Bristol 9:25pmish
We saw this Drury being built on our last visit to pigeon forge and we are so excited that it’s opening. I love that walking trail and really enjoyed it every day on my last trip! We have stayed at two different Drury hotels in GA and have had great experiences. I especially loved how clean they were. We didn’t take advantage of the free meals but I would imagine that would really help if you have a big family. We are staying at the Drury in Disney springs this September and I’m sure it’s going to be delightful.
Next trip we take to pigeon forge we will definitely consider the Drury. It’s in a great location and that pool looks amazing. Thank you for doing these videos!
Wow, what a great hotel. It's definetely on my list now. So glad you can bring your dogs.
Oh wow very nice hotel room ❤ and so beautiful views of Pigeon Forge love it.
Hey brother, which hotel would you prefer? La Quinta on pigeon forge strip or the Econo Lodge?
You should do a best value hotel ranking. Not necessarily the cheapest in town but the best bang for your buck. That would help a lot of people like myself who love the smokies but still have a budget!
Breakfast and Dinner are free to guest?
What a great place. Awesome insights.
Im so glad they are getting some new hotels.
Looks really nice
I'm wanting to get our family some E-Bikes, could you recommend one that will do the 11 mile loop in Cades Cove with no issues, with reliability and reliable battery power in mind, Please and Thanks.
Looks like it will be a very nice hotel. This would be perfect for families with kiddos because if the extra bonuses like supper and popcorn
Thank you for sharing this hotel! I plan on staying here when I go to Dollywood.
Is there a closer airport than the one 60 miles away? I'll be flying in from Nebraska.
Thank for videos. Saying might pick wrong hotel 🏨 when i seen this 😂. Bc we book compass from margaritavile. But think both great new location in the area
