【松阪旅】地元に愛されB級グルメ巡り/松阪牛だけじゃない鶏焼肉は圧倒的に極うま!ぶらり満腹旅
Matsusaka Trip MIE: Stamina is key when it’s hot! So, to enjoy plenty of meat, I’m taking the Kintetsu Limited Express to Matsusaka City, Mie Prefecture. Please watch until the end. The ride makes me want to drink! As I was admiring the delicious countryside, I arrived at my transfer station, Yamato-Yagi. What’s this? Wasabi Leaf Sushi. I couldn’t help but buy some . My destination is Mie Prefecture on the Ise-Shima Liner. Pokémon and Mie Prefecture collaboration ! Supporting that! I’m on board, and I want to drink ! The eel is wrapped entirely in wasabi leaves. Delicious! It’s spicy, crispy, and sweet, and finished in seconds! I was admiring the mountains and sky when I arrived in Matsusaka. Thank you, Matsusaka residents! I was hungry, so I headed straight from the station. I can hear the music! Fujiya’s 4.1 Chinese Noodle Shop specializes in Chinese noodles and yakisoba. There’s no alcohol, so I guess that’s a no-brainer! Yakisoba (930 yen) Firm fried noodles with a plump texture Spicy Chinese noodles (1030 yen) Crispy fried noodles The crispy texture of the fried noodles and the texture of the bean paste are different, which is nice. How about a smooth, Japanese-style spicy Chinese noodles? Oh! The Chinese noodles were also Japanese- style, with a spicy aftertaste. It was voluminous with plenty of vegetables, and the broth made with bonito and mackerel flakes was like a Japanese-style champon. A gentle man shared the “Yakisoba Sauce” on the table, trying a different flavor. The sauce added punch to the Japanese-style broth. It looked big and substantial, but it was refreshing and I ate it all. Thank you for the meal! Fujiya Chinese Noodles 1,960 yen. Matsusaka City, a town of wealthy merchants, is a castle town with a retro feel. The day we arrived coincidentally saw the Matsusaka Gion Festival, which was being held on the same day. The festival atmosphere was at its peak on the pedestrian street. Take a break here! Matsusaka Meat Swede 3.9. Finally, a local sake tasting set (800 yen). Kan P. Hmm! When it’s hot, you want the sourness of lemon. On the left is Matsusaka Station. Watching the scenery in front of the station ← It looks like it’s going to rain. Wow, it’s delicious! It looks like the mikoshi will be coming out! I still haven’t had enough, so I’ll have another Kan P. Summer beer is the best! The hostess was kind and we enjoyed our drink . We had a 2,000 yen Swede . It was almost time to check in. It was raining, but thankfully it wasn’t raining yet ! Come on! The festival… All the hotels in Matsusaka City were fully booked. We were lucky to find one room left! It was still light out, so we headed for dinner. Our reservation was for 5 p.m. at the main branch of Isshobin (4.4 ) . Even though it’s such a famous restaurant, this was our first visit. We checked the menu on the wall. Large draft beer (1,300 yen), chuhai (plum) (600 yen), and a huge can of citrus fruit. Delicious ! Ice-cold and delicious! However, the “large draft” was heavy . Matsusaka beef tongue sashimi (1,780 yen), Matsusaka beef top-grade skirt steak (2,200 yen), top-grade innards (980 yen) , and Matsusaka beef special loin (3,300 yen). Tongue sashimi was an absolute luxury. Sweet and milky, it melted in our mouths —so delicious! It was a feast on a spiritual level ! A moment of bliss! Next up is the special loin marbling! I’m excited with anticipation as I grill it super rare , and it’s perfect. I want to take a bite and it ‘s so delicious, it’s not greasy at all, and it melts in my mouth. I forgot that the “Top Skirt Steak” is a limited edition dish that can only be ordered once ! I know how delicious the Skirt Steak is with bean sprout namul! I ‘ll definitely have it with miso sauce! This meat is beyond beautiful ! Will Matsusaka locals come to this restaurant? The rumored deliciousness is great, and the innards look good too. Red wine (1,200 yen) This place… I’ll be pretentious and have a bottle of red wine. I’m a Showa-era man who still thinks red is the best for meat. The jiggly innards have bloomed, and of course the miso sauce melts in your mouth. Matsusaka Beef Top Zabuton (2,700 yen) Ah, meat, meat! I want to try the Himalayan salt too, high-quality meat is so sweet! It was a mini bottle, but it was already empty. The premium tripe (1,150 yen) was a silver plate, and I was able to debut the famous 1.8L bottle, which is said to be exceptionally delicious. It was absolutely delicious ! Matsusaka beef is best eaten in Matsusaka! The meat I ate: 1.8L bottle, main store, 16,090 yen . Ah, I ate! I ate! I want to be a cow! Suddenly, the mikoshi (portable shrine) that had been transformed into a “cow” was gone… I wonder if I should finish off the night with a drink at Sanukiya 4.0 . Which one should I get…? Lemon chuhai (500 yen). I tried to hold out to see the mikoshi (portable shrine), but I couldn’t resist the sleepiness. Ten Toji Udon (950 yen) ← For a man who loves chili peppers, the variety is on a par with a tempura platter . Thin noodles are good, too… Tenmusu (2 pcs) set (500 yen). It was close enough to the hotel that I just popped in… sorry! It was even better than I expected , and the tempura musubi was huge! Where’s the tempura? Right in the middle, there’s crispy shrimp tempura. Thinking about it, it’s all tempura! The shrimp are huge! Seriously! I’m so stuffed! Thank you for the meal! Sanukiya 2,900 yen . A sunny day in front of Matsusaka Station. We’re looking forward to more fun things to come! Heading to the second stop on our gourmet tour is Kashiwa Yakiniku Toriyuu 4.3 for “grilled chicken.” As expected, a bottled beer reservation is required, and even though it’s just opened, it’s full. KanP is amazing! Delicious! Parent Chicken Hine (530 yen) *2 servings. This miso sauce is a dark color, isn’t it? Young Chicken (530 yen) *2 servings . Yesterday we had Matsusaka beef, and today we’re having grilled chicken. Both are specialties. Delicious Tori Soup (440 yen) . Damn, that chicken miso sauce looks delicious ! What the heck is this umami? It’s so good! The legendary beer , which even contains chicken meatballs to slurp down in the chicken soup, is also delicious! The pickled cucumbers are a divine accompaniment, and it absolutely goes well with rice. Chicken thighs (520 yen) The chicken thighs are also cooked, and the cloudy sake (530 yen) Miyano Kumo Ah ~ Tamaran Neko’s miso sauce is a little sweet with a hint of garlic, and it’s super delicious. I recommend the rice here. The white rice drink was delicious! The egg hidden in the chicken soup was unexpected and lucky ← I love eggs Highball (610 yen) Why?! I can drink it all! Wow! Something amazing has arrived! Hokkaido Melon Milk Ice (2,200 yen) I have a weakness for limited editions, and I was blown away by the melon from Furano, Hokkaido. The ice itself is fluffy, like a drink, and it’s a refreshing oasis. 513 ICE LAB 3,300 yen I came to Matsusaka Station to get that thing I regret. Matsusaka Meat Swede 3.9 I went to this restaurant again yesterday . I saw it yesterday and thought I’d like to try it , so I ordered Ise-san’s specialty Ise Udon (600 yen) . The thick noodles are indescribable, and the sauce on the bottom is great. The noodles are thick and soft, but they’re thick and have a strong flavor. I ‘m hooked on the dark sauce . Oh? I had udon last night too! Ah, so delicious! ︎ Besides that, I was able to find Ise Udon in Matsusaka. Thank you for the treat! Swede 1,200 yen I wonder if I can find anything at the souvenir shop in front of the station . I thought it would be local beer, but I was captivated by the meat . It’s cheap! Komagiri is 1,400 yen per gram. I’ll buy some Ise tea, and I also got some Matsusaka beef Happy Turn for myself . The two-day trip went by in a flash. On the way back, I took the Ise-Shima Liner to Kyoto, direct, no transfers, and departed right on schedule. Farewell, Matsusaka! I’ll be back! Mie’s winter plums (385 yen).
