In July, Mt. Fuji is only visible a few times a month. You may not be able to see Mt. Fuji today. First, head to Shiraito Falls, which can be enjoyed even if you can’t see Mt. Fuji . Escape from your daily life and be drawn to the presence of a clear stream . Passing through a narrow path with spinning windmills, you will see the wooden sign for Shiraito Falls through gaps in the leaves. Over the bridge, the water vein continues. With the melody of the water in mind, you take a telephoto lens at Shiraito Falls, a waterfall caressed by the wind. With the melody of the water in mind, you cross the bridge. A majestic waterfall flowing down a 150m wide curved cliff. Most of the water is spring water from Mt. Fuji. A paradise of negative ions! White sounds sink deep , and the rising mist gently envelops the air in pursuit of beauty. A silent back, from the waterfall to the river, threads of water unravel like silk . A silent path leading to higher heights, a white whisper falling into the distance. I couldn’t help but look up… Next, I head to Otodome Falls. I’m overwhelmed by the force of the water carving the rock face . What do I think of as the roaring sound of the water lingers at my feet? The breath of the sacred mountain dwells at my feet. I’ll have lunch at the “SHIRAITO GENERAL STORE” that I passed on the way. It seems that Mount Fuji can be seen from the large window of the loft seat. Appetizing garlic shrimp, a blissful taste that will soothe your travel fatigue. The spicy temptation of jerk chicken “Kagamiike” . Originally a place where Mount Fuji was reflected, today it fascinates many people beyond the clouds, the mysterious water village of Oshino Hakkai. Here, an ancient story of water flows. This place was once a huge lake. The Enryaku eruption split the lake in two, and over time, the water changed shape. In fact, the popular Nakaike pond is an artificial pond. The spring water is real, and the light is real too . Forget about time and entrust yourself to the water. Multinational languages fly around in the water paradise , Wakuike. Boasting an abundant supply of spring water, a watermill stands opposite the center of Oshino Hakkai . A single river seems to take you far away. It feels so good! ☺The crystal clear stream gently envelops visitors. The flowing water is a nostalgic Japanese landscape. A quiet moment listening to the murmur of the stream. Beyond everyone’s gaze… a female stag beetle. The heartbeat of life resonates in the silent blue. A return trip along the river . A small story living in this water town. A moment of peace. The grass knows the flow of time. This water is a blessing from Mt. Fuji. We went back to Nakaike and bought some peach matcha as a souvenir. Beyond where everyone is lined up… a clear water vein. Now, reflected on the surface of the water in my palm, each person’s thoughts. Oshino Hakkai leaves a quiet impression deep in our hearts. Tonight’s accommodation is Kawaguchiko Park Hotel, a hotel with over 70 years of history. A relaxing hotel with a homely atmosphere. We are grateful for the warm hospitality . Our room is a superior twin Western-style room with a view of Mt. Fuji from the window. For dinner, we have a pork shabu-shabu plan. Melting pork will melt your heart. A refreshing morning stroll by the lake. A moment to refresh your soul. Today, you can see Mt. Fuji! ☺ The heavens have not abandoned us. First thing in the morning, we head to Arakurayama Sengen Park. Up ahead, there is the presence of the gods . Looking back, there is the beauty of Japan. May this journey be deeply engraved in your heart. The Sakuyahime Staircase has 398 steps, so we take the sloped route up. The five-story pagoda comes into view! Finally, the pagoda is right in front of us. And then, we encounter a breathtaking view that will leave you speechless. The pagoda and Mt. Fuji. A miraculous and breathtaking view woven by two symbols of Japan. An unforgettable view… On the way back , Mt. Fuji watches over us from the stairs, and on the way down the slope, we come across a quietly standing shrine. Again , we encounter the red torii gate. An unexpected encounter with the autumn leaves and the sacred mountain. Travelers from around the world pass each other as they pass each other. Moved in our hearts, we head to the next breathtaking view . Surrounded by the scent of lavender, Mt. Fuji smiles . Drawn by the purple breeze, we walk slowly through the seasons, gazing at Mt. Fuji’s fluttering white feathers. Water shaped like Mt. Fuji and a summer treat. Beyond the soft, round scenery, the majestic Mt. Fuji stands tall. Beyond the colors of the swaying red flowers and the unwavering back of Mt. Fuji lies the unchanging blue of the mountain . The orange shimmers and the blue peak harmonize as Mt. Fuji draws ever closer. Every time you stand on the shore, Mt. Fuji comes a little closer. The path leads to the next spectacular view , the summit that connects the sky and the earth . At the back of the herb garden travel diary is the Fujisan Deck. The building you can see in the back is the Fujisan Deck. Mt. Fuji quietly peeks out from between the gardens. A small gate acts as a picture frame to Mt. Fuji. Doors to anywhere! A reward from the observation deck – the majestic Mt. Fuji . A row of Mt. Fuji! Coolness and a spectacular view, you can enjoy two Fujis at the same time. Time passes slowly as you gaze at the upside-down Fuji. On the way back, we take a peek into the large greenhouse. Inside the greenhouse, there are various herbs… they smell wonderful – apparently the scent is released when you rub the leaves. The colorful herbs that bloom softly are a sign of the season , and each flower calms the soul. We want to gently teach you about this quiet spot overlooking Fuji. For lunch, we have “Mount Fuji Pancakes.” Fluffy and creamy pancakes , the ultimate bliss. The deep flavor of five types of spices and special bouillon. We visit Lake Motosu at the end of our trip. Even when hidden by clouds, we know it’s there. We hope to meet again someday at this place. The water flows, and time passes – life breathes in the silence. Wrapped in the silence of the early morning , we look up at the sky and make wishes . The scent of the wind also becomes a memory. Reflected on the glass, another Fuji.
