京成高砂駅周辺の鉄道スポット巡り
Have a good day. Have a good day. I could watch this forever. Watching makes me want to do it myself. It makes me want to play. There’s a play area right next door for this. You can actually play, not just watch. Hello everyone, this is Ayako Suzukawa. Today, I’m
here for a project with “Tetsu-Omo!” magazine. at Keisei Takasago Station on the Keisei
Electric Railway. I’d like to visit some spots around Keisei
Takasago Station where we can see Keisei trains. So, right now, we’re at the South Exit of Keisei
Takasago Station. It’s the railroad crossing right outside the
ticket gate. Well, this Keisei Takasago railroad crossing is
really something, It’s a popular spot, so I’d like to check it out. The arrows showing the train directions
indicate the Keisei Line above and the Hokusō
Line below. That’s right. Various railway companies also
have through services here. Nice. It’s so close. Right now, behind us, on the far side, there’s a
Keikyu train car. Ah, look, look, I see it. Oh. Keikyu 600 series. Amazing. At the same time. It’s Takasago No. 1 Railroad Crossing. Takasago No. 1 Railroad Crossing. It’s a little hard to see because the next one is
coming from the same direction, Another one is coming. Ah, the Skyliner! It’s the Skyliner. Cool. Have a good day. Nice shape. One after another. The stairs, There’s a gap next to the stairway exit. In the gap, The upper part is amazing! As expected, this is a
large station, so it stands out quite a bit. Um, there’s something up there too. There’s a warning light. This is amazing, from down here. Looking up from here is amazing. This railroad crossing’s alarm equipment is All the way up there, all the way up. Nice. As expected, just by having different coloring
designs, I feel like I can see various types, which is fun. The signal for passing trains has lit up. I’ve now crossed to the other side. Have a good day. This is the Asakusa Line. Oh, but both are coming with two cars. Asakusa Line train cars I’m now at the Sky Access Line, because the orange train car is stopped there. Nice. Asakusa Line train car Oh, it goes way back there too. Amazing. A little closer to the station. Here we are. This seems like a safe place to hang out. Oh, this is great! The fence is pretty low, so you get a clear,
straight-on view. But of course, be careful and stay safe. Make sure you don’t block the signals. Shall we watch from around here? Sounds good. There are so many different railway companies’
trains running through here. So you can see all kinds of trains. You can see the Asakusa Line trains, Well, there’s the Keikyu Line, you know, The Hokusō Line, and the Sky Access Line. You can even see the Chiba New Town Railway. Cool. There are three trains on the platform right now. All three are Asakusa Line trains. Wow, I wonder which company operates this
station. Here it comes! Have a good one! Have a good one! Every place we’ve seen today has a proper
sidewalk, but… This might be the easiest place to watch from.
It’s safe and there’s plenty of space. Just be careful on the railway track side and
don’t drop anything onto the tracks. If you look that way, you might even be able to see
the Kanamachi Line. A glimpse, A glimpse, just now, I can see it! Oh! Ah! Here comes the Keisei 3500 series! Nice! You know, In the middle, There’s a through door, And over there is the… train type indicator. Have a good one! Keep going strong! It’s going to Tsudanuma. Have a good one! Nice! Before, The unrenovated ones, used to have round headlights. But now they’ve all been renovated. Right? Okay, next up is this spot. It’s about a 10-minute walk from Takasago
Station, which we were at earlier. That’s where it’s located. We’ve come to a place called Fujimi Bridge. It’s right next to the tracks, we’re running
parallel to them. So you can see the trains really well. Ohohohoho. Oh, look! It’s the Skyliner! Hey! This is so great! The Skyliner is crossing the river. We’re seeing it from the side. You can see it right up close. What a great viewing spot! Yellow really stands out, doesn’t it? Look, look, it’s great! It’s really great! This really fits perfectly on the bridge. Exactly 8 cars. It looks great on the bridge. Oh, oh, oh. Ahahaha. Nice. The sound too. It’s good. Well, we could get closer if we wanted, but… But still, the view from a distance is nice. Being able to see it from the side… I just called this Fujimi Bridge, but… It crosses the Nakagawa River. This place has another name. It’s Takasago Bridge. Fujimi Bridge is above the Shinkane Line. You could see it below just now. The JR. What you can see under Fujimi Bridge is the JR. Freight line. Shinkane Line. Also called the Shinkane Line. It’s the line that connects Shin-Koiwa and
Kanamachi. There’s a protruding part in the middle there. Let’s go. Wow, something. Isn’t this a great spot? There’s a bench. There’s a little bench to sit on. Look. It’s as if it’s saying, please take a look. Here. It’s been stopped there the whole time. Here it comes. Have a good day. Have a good day. It’s a bit of a walk from the station. It’s just off the main road. Sticking out. There’s a space to watch the trains and a space to
sit. It’s kind of like a model train set. You can see it like a model train set. The one that’s coming… The Keikyu train is here too. It’s so colorful. Hahaha. Nice. It goes up like this. Over there. The Skyliner’s here! The Skyliner’s here! It’s nice. It’s so slow. Oh, nice. A little acceleration. So, next up, from Keisei Takasago Station… It’s about a walk… of about 10 minutes. We’ve come to Takasago Kita Park. Right now… The sound of the railroad crossing… I can hear it coming from somewhere. It’s a pretty big park… And right in front of us… You can see the trains! Kind of. The railroad crossing bells are ringing. Isn’t something coming? Here it comes! Oh, that’s nice! Amazing. We’re in the park, and If we went to the far end over there, we could get
even closer, but It’s a good feeling. You can safely enjoy the
train view and the Keisei view right here in the
park. There’s the Skyliner. You can see it. Well, you can see it. It’s there, isn’t it? Oh! Nice! Nice! Going both ways, Both of them. They’re passing each other right at that spot. I thought it was a panda, but It looks a bit more like a koala. From this angle. Isn’t the panda colored like a koala? Something about the ears… is it because it’s
Keisei? Then again, We could play a game of guessing what train is
coming next. We could also play a game of remembering what
trains passed by. Now, That railroad crossing right in front of us that
we could see from the park This has, the Hokusō Line tracks running above it, that’s
amazing. Here, it’s like a roof, so it blocks the rain and it feels like it blocks the sun too. And this is sandwiched between the train tracks. That middle part over there. It’s sandwiched by the railroad crossings. This, um, This now, Can you see it? I can’t see it. Ah, ah, ah, Ah, Ah, I can see it in the distance! Look! Isn’t it surprisingly quiet? I thought so. This is amazing. This side is Wow, amazing. Nice, Like this, it curves sharply to the left, so When you look from this side, you can see the Skyliner above a little bit too. It’s coming, it’s coming, it’s coming, it’s coming. But, but, but, not much is coming this way, so I have a
feeling something might come from the other
direction too. I want to be in between them. Railroad crossing In the middle when both of them are closed. The train going this direction is here too. Wow, this spot is really great. Ahahaha. I’m going to try and find a good angle and take a picture. It’s coming, it’s coming, it’s coming, it’s coming. Ooh. Fufufu. Okay, and next up. When you think of Keisei
Takasago, you think of Cafe Platak. We’ve come to Cafe Platak. I’ve been here to film a
few times before. I’ve been here before, but now, inside the cafe… As you can see, it’s full of everyone’s favorite… Plarail trains are running and on display,
packed in everywhere you look. They also sell them, and there’s a space where you
can play with them freely. It’s really like a dream cafe. Of course, you can have a meal or just grab a drink. It’s a proper… cafe. It’s really amazing, isn’t it? You can really just sit here and… It’s fun just to sit and watch the trains go by
while drinking a juice. Yeah, really. They’re connected, and now they’re running all
kinds of trains. The staff are running them for us. Look, they’re even running up there! Isn’t that great? If you have friends who are into Plarail… Adults… I think you’ll understand, but they have Plarail
items that aren’t sold anymore. Like Plarail scenery sets. They also have a lot of trains here. It’s like a museum. You can enjoy it like that. They also sell them here. New Plarail trains. So many! There are probably more here than in a regular
toy store. And… Well, down here, these are used, I guess. And over here… Some scenery items, and also Tomica cars. They have a wider selection now. Hmm. Real Class too. Over there, they’re lined up. The Real Class looks
really cool like this, when… they’re lined up in their boxes and packaging.
It’s a different kind of cool. It’s wonderful. There are quite a few rare items,
really, things that you can’t even get anymore. Things that aren’t sold anymore are also on that
wall over there. They’re for sale. It’s nice just to look, but… You might find something you always wanted! You might be able to find something nostalgic. This is so much fun! There’s a space where kids can take off their
shoes and play. It’s a play area. Of course, there are Plarails. And some blocks. There are also New Blocks. Capsule Plarails are over there too. That’s how you should store them! Capsule Plarails, I see. Putting rails on the wall like this… Isn’t that stylish? Right. Of course, in this direction, you can’t run them, but… It’s a slightly different way of displaying
them. Plarail Advance, we used to have that too! That’s
nostalgic. This series itself has ended now, but… Plarail Advance is also displayed like this. The overseas TrackMaster series. Yes. TrackMaster is like an overseas version of
Plarail. But they’re also sold here. Isn’t this Keikyu
Plarail amazing? This is quite an old one. Both the packaging and
this train car. The train car is a Haneda Airport Station
opening commemorative model. Keikyu has
released so many of these over the years. They’ve released so many. Keikyu limited
editions, like “Otodo Keikyu.” They’re sold at Seven-Elevens in the station
and at the merchandise shops. They’re released as limited editions, and at
events. Well, Keisei is also along this line. Starting with the old Skyliner. That’s great. Keisei also has them. I really like
Plarail. I collect and have them around here. I also have
the Hokusō Line. Well, there’s also the Shin-Keisei Line. Like the Hokusō Line and the Shin-Keisei Line. There are also Tokyu ones. There are many
different ones. And then there’s the Thomas series. Like the old Neville, which isn’t usually sold
anymore. These also have a price tag. You can also buy discontinued items. Wow, amazing! I could look at these forever. Looking at them makes me want to play. Makes you want to play. That’s why right next door There’s a play area. You can actually play with them, not just look. Okay, let’s take a look at the menu. This is Cafe
Platak’s menu. They have delicious-looking drinks, and also They also have a kids’ menu, with a kids’ lunch and
a kids’ plate for elementary schoolers. For children. Among those, I recommend this. Check
it out. Train Ice Cream! And this train is the Keisei
Series 3000. Regarding stock levels… The stock changes daily, so if you’re planning to
come to the store, If you have a set date, it’s best to call ahead to
check. Okay, here’s the Train Ice Cream, Keisei Series
3000. They brought it out for me. Amazing! I feel bad eating it, but I’m happy. Just for a moment. There’s a film around it. But I’m going to eat it as is. Excuse me, I’ll start
from the roof. Oh, wow. The color is like stainless steel. Let’s eat. Mmm. Delicious. Vanilla flavor. Mmm, hehe, delicious. It’s starting to melt. So, this time, near Keisei Takasago Station, We’re going around to Keisei Electric
Railway’s train viewing spots. We visited several places. After all, there’s the one in front of the station, And the famous large railroad crossing. You can also step back and watch the trains
crossing the bridge. And there are places where you can safely watch
from inside the park. There are so many places to see. And above all, There’s Cafe Platak, which has lots of Plarail
that everyone loves. So, by all means, please visit various places
along the Keisei Line and around
Keisei-Takasago Station. How about that? And these scenes will be
released on August 1, 2025, It will also be featured in the September issue
of Tetsu-Omo!, so please check it out. Please take a look. Keisei Electric Railway’s
train viewing spots. That’s what we looked at. Thank you very much.
