Hello everyone! This time, we’re exploring the ruins of Yonago Castle in Yonago City, Tottori Prefecture. It’s famous as a power spot with stunning views! Let’s get started! Ninomaru (Second Bailey) This is a two-tiered enclosure surrounded by high stone walls. The Yonago Castle Ruins are designated as a national historic site. They’re officially recognized for their high historical and academic value. Let’s climb up to the scenic viewpoint! Former Obara Residence Nagaya Gate This gate was relocated from the residence of the Obara family, retainers of the Arao clan. Site of the Palace Well Let’s keep climbing! Only 200 meters left to the castle tower base 💦 Climbing Stone Walls These are stone walls built vertically from the mountain’s base to the summit. Still climbing! We can finally see the top! You can see the city even from here! The main enclosure sits at about 90 meters above sea level. Site of the Iron Gate The contrast between the sunset and sky is incredibly beautiful. A true panoramic view! You can see the entire city. What an amazing view. Many people were taking photos with their cameras. Yonago Castle was located in Kume-cho, Yonago City, Tottori Prefecture.
It was also known as Kume Castle or Minatoyama Castle. The sea visible in the scenery is Nakaumi. The summit is very spacious and offers a 360-degree view. Everyone, please come and see this amazing view! For dinner, I had ramen.
It’s called “Meaty Gottsuo Ramen.” Here’s the menu. I ordered the chashu (roast pork) ramen. “Gottsuo Grilled Chashu Ramen” – 1100 yen The ramen has arrived. It looks really delicious! Itadakimasu (Let’s eat) Gochisousama deshita (Thank you for the meal) I’m staying overnight in Yonago City, so let me show you the hotel. 9,500 yen per night Amenities were available in the lobby. Tamagoyaki (rolled omelet), meatballs, deep-fried white fish Sausage, fried chicken Stuffed eggplant, Napolitan pasta Local specialty: Ago no yaki (grilled flying fish cake) Pumpkin salad Pouring miso soup No green onions! Pouring the miso soup again The miso was a blend miso. Since we’re here, let’s try some curry too! I resisted the temptation to eat bread… Finally added a raw egg to finish the plate.
