【奄美大島観光】奄美大島旅行でグルメと秘境&ナイトツアーを堪能する1日が最高すぎた!奄美大島観光モデルコース爆誕vlog
Good morning! This is bien. I’m on Amami Oshima, Kagoshima Prefecture. Amami Oshima is a remote island located about 400km away and is the third largest island in Japan. Today is the third day of my 3-night, 4-day trip to Amami Oshima. I’m eating a ton of gourmet food with the best value for money. I’m sneaking into a hidden corner of Amami Oshima that requires a reservation to enter . The ultimate model itinerary for the night mountains has been born! Please be sure to watch until the end. Today, the weather forecast predicted rain, but I ‘m planning to explore the stunning scenery and do some activities in the second half. Let’s go! I also went to Sandwich Cafe Amami, where I had breakfast yesterday, for a bit of a repeat visit . It was super crowded. I ate inside yesterday, but today I’m going to get some takeout and go see the tourist spots. I ‘m here. It opened and the place was gone in an instant. It’s less crowded today (there was a line yesterday). I’m off to have breakfast. Sandwich Cafe Amami in Naze, Amami City. It’s open from 7:30 AM. Amami Oshima. If you’re traveling, the sandwiches are delicious, but I also recommend the famous chicken. I bought the same sandwich as yesterday and a cafe latte . They seem to open around 7 or 8 o’clock, so if the sandwich you want isn’t on display, just ask the staff. They’ll make it for you and bring it to you by the time you line up to pay at the register. If the sandwich you want isn’t on display, just ask (it’s a shame to give up thinking it’s out of stock). My personal recommendation is this blueberry blueberry delicious blueberry and addictive chicken cutlet (420 yen). It’s got plenty of cabbage, so it doesn’t make you feel heavy in the morning. It doesn’t feel oily, and the balance is just right. This much cabbage makes it taste even better. It’s really delicious. And with that, I set off. Only 7km left until my first destination today. Today I’ll mainly be touring the west side, but if it starts to rain heavily, I might change my route. A great view spot I’m thinking about going to two waterfalls , but I can only pray that it doesn’t rain. I’ll be heading west over the mountains, so it might be raining on the east side, but apparently it’s raining on the east side but has stopped raining on the west side, so it might not rain (I have a feeling this is foreshadowing). It’s a little sunny, the scenery is amazing, it’s not raining over here , but it ‘s a spectacular drive. Even on Amami Oshima, the weather changes depending on the location. Wow , this place is great, this area makes for a great driving course ! We’re passing through Miyakozaki Tunnel . Amami Oshima surprisingly has a lot of tunnels. On the first day of our trip to Amami Oshima, I was really surprised by the number of tunnels. I never thought there would be a tunnel on a remote island. After going through the tunnel, turn right and it ‘s 600m to Miyakozaki. I wonder if I have to walk to Miyakozaki from here? We’ve arrived ! We arrived at the parking lot at Miyakozaki. Miyakozaki is a cape that juts out into the East China Sea, and the area is covered with short Ryukyu bamboo. The coast below is very clear and has a wide coral reef. In Yamato Village, Miyakozaki is called Sasa-to (a plain of bamboo).食べましたか、食べてほしいです English: It’s called “I see, I see, it’s sunny over here. I want to enjoy this scenic spot, which is also a filming location for a historical drama . For now, I’ll eat the sandwich I just bought . I think I’ll walk after eating. The view from the parking lot is also really nice . But this sky to the west is sunny, so I think I might get addicted to this chicken cutlet sandwich (I can’t remember the name at all lol) This is delicious I also have some sata andagi that I bought at Family Mart I also bought some chicken chicken This is a ham cutlet sandwich It has potato salad and looks delicious It’s really delicious The chicken is delicious It’s sunny, but it’s raining And the chicken chicken was delicious The amount of cabbage is amazing It ‘s flavored with curry The curry flavor is a nice accent It’s a delicious sandwich It’s delicious to eat as takeout, but it might be better to eat it in the restaurant The parking lot is slightly slanted so your center of gravity keeps leaning backwards, which really messes with your senses when you eat I wouldn’t get bored even if I eat it two days in a row It’s just a matter of how much I’m going to eat in the mornings from now on Ham cutlet Ham cutlet curry potato salad potato salad is great ! Blueberry Amami Oshima is fun to visit, but the food and sweets are also good. The food is… We ordered quite a lot of food this time , but for dinner on the first day we had sushi and were totally stuffed. We ate sushi for 5,500 yen. It was so cheap for two people , I was a little surprised. We ordered quite a lot yesterday too, but how much was it? Maybe it was under 7,000 yen… I ended up eating too much for about 6,800 yen. The food was cheap, and why are blueberry sauce and whipped cream so delicious? They go so well together, so we set off. It’s about 1,500 m from here to the view point, so it’s about 1.5 km round trip, which takes about an hour. Apparently there are vipers, but as long as the promenade continues like this, it should be fine ! Has the rain stopped? That’s a relief, but tragedy will occur after this . It’s raining, it’s raining quite heavily . It really came down all at once. When I think about how this rain won’t stop… It might be pretty tough, but from here we start to go uphill. There are 1,120m left to Miyakozaki . Wow , it’s raining really hard. I hope it doesn’t stop. It’s raining even harder . It’s raining really hard . I should have brought a swimsuit. I’m getting soaked. This is bad . All I can say is “bad.” Look, it’s raining really hard. Until now, the rain had stopped when I arrived at a tourist spot, but this time I was hit with a complete downpour (a complete defeat for the sunny weather guy). This is so bad. I didn’t think it would rain this much. Wow, what’s this? Are the clouds drifting in ? It was sunny around here a while ago, but suddenly the clouds … We’ll just have to wait for them to pass through. Oh , it’s weakening a bit. I wonder if it will stop soon. This can’t be black rabbit poop. I’ve been baptized by nature. Ah, it’s turned into a dangerous river here. But on the other hand, with this much rain, I don’t think there will be many bugs. I’m positive I’m holding an umbrella so I don’t think I’ll get too sunburned. There’s a sign. It’s 750m to Miyakozaki. I’m only about halfway there. If I keep walking at this pace Maybe my walking has gotten a lot faster thanks to walking around so many uncharted areas. I guess my experience on Iriomote Island was a big factor after all . Amazing. What is this? Are there birds in these trees ? Well, things like this are nice too. This is bad. It’s the second rainstorm. This is bad. It’s going to be amazing this time . We get to experience all kinds of weather. I’m scared that the wind will turn into thunder after the rain . 550m to Miyakozaki . We’ve made it about two-thirds of the way there and are now on our final sprint. I discovered something here. Is it a lizard? What’s this ? They’re not running away at all. They’re not running away at all . The trees have disappeared from here and the sky has opened up. And it ‘s the final sprint , 350m to Miyakozaki . There’s a lot of rabbit droppings here too . Rabbit droppings are scattered everywhere . You have to be careful not to step on them. The ocean is now in sight. And it looks like the rain is over. There’s an observation deck . Wow, it was worth all the effort. Is the promenade still continuing further in ? The clouds are drifting further in. There will be a rainstorm on the way back. It looks okay. Look, it’s sunny over here, so this observation deck is a bit out of the ordinary. The rain has stopped for now, so it looks like this from here. Entrance ちゃでちゃってますね English: There’s a walking stick in there , so it feels like we might need to use it. From here on, it’s dirt . The pavement ends from here and it’s dirt. I think there are probably a lot of vipers around here. It’s really narrow. A bee came. But this bee probably isn’t one to attack. Wow , it’s not like it’s going to do anything when it’s raining. That’s bad. It’s suddenly so steep. Just a moment ago, it was amazing , so easy. Wow, this is hell on a rainy day. It’s inevitable that the ground will get dirty, but let’s just watch out for vipers. It’s really wide open , but the road is narrow, it’s so steep. I don’t think there are any even on Ryoomotejima , but we really need to watch our step. We really need to watch our step. Just then, the rain clouds have flown away, the rain has stopped, it’s a beautiful view. My partner is walking with his walking stick, a grim look on his face. The sea is so blue , so beautiful . It’s scary. The puddles are amazing . There’s still that road continues all the way to the back. Anyway, once we started walking, the time passed by in a flash. It’s definitely worth taking about an hour round trip to see it. It’s certainly scary, it’s scary when they say there are vipers . So what should we do from here? I’ll give up, I’m going to get really wet. I wonder if there’s an observation deck up ahead, but there’s bamboo grass up to waist height and I don’t have any change of clothes so I give up. This is probably the highest point. I think this location might be more beautiful, but wow, this side has the best view. Personally I like this place too. This ocean The rain clouds are steadily moving towards the mountains over there. Here’s a beautiful view of Miyakozaki . The grass is just amazing. Wow, I’d like to come again on a nice day. Anyway, what a view! It was amazing, it was a beautiful view . There was a heavy rain on the way which doubled my sense of accomplishment. My almost new shoes and pants are covered in mud. But it was a good experience. If you don’t want to get too dirty, wear a swimsuit and sturdy shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty. It’s best to just keep walking without worrying about anything. You ‘ll get there quickly and you can enjoy the view. Amazing, snake-like tree branches , like an anaconda. On the other hand, it was because I got hit with that rain that I felt like I could let it all go, never mind, let’s just keep walking! I was able to continue on the muddy road without any fuss, so I guess my mentality has grown a bit . This is why I can’t stop traveling. It’s a silent sympathy . It was raining earlier, so I was holding an umbrella and didn’t notice it at all, but there was a huge spider right above me . It was a really black spider, and it was scary. This huge plant, and finally… 帰りました。 English: I made it back to the parking lot, but there were no vipers or anything like that, just a whole lot of rabbit poop, so that meant Miyakozaki. This is Sunset Park. It only took a few seconds by car from the Miyakozaki parking lot I’d mentioned earlier. I exaggerate by a few seconds lol, about 10 to 20 seconds , but it’s definitely better here. But what’s this area like? If I watch the sunset here, is there a place to stay for the night? There’s the sea over there nearby. Next is Materia? I’m thinking of going to Materia Falls, but on the way I found a delicious looking cafe? So I’ll take a little break. At the back of the parking lot is the beach. It ‘s more like a coast than a beach. Yamato Mahorobakan . I think I’ll have some ice cream. I bought a tangerine mix cone for 350 yen. They also have a tangerine special for the summer. Then another downpour started. It’s raining really hard, it’s been raining on and off the whole time. My partner ordered a plum mix, the tangerines were delicious. We ‘ve driven about 3km to Materia Falls. We’re going along a mountain road, but the lanes are divided and the road is wide and easy to drive on. There are lots of signs warning of black rabbits jumping out into the sky. The vegetation is amazing. Does the road get narrower from here ? This was the parking lot. We arrived. If you walk from here, you’ll soon come to the waterfall. We’ve arrived at the parking lot of Materiya Falls. There’s a lot of cicada chirping here , which is quite loud. It’s a waterfall , and the river is nearby, so it seems like it’s okay to be spied by vipers, but it looks like insects are dangerous, so we’ll bring some insect repellent with us. I wonder if you have to go down these stairs to get to the waterfall. It looks like you do. The entrance to Materiya’s bamboo pit is a little slippery. The cicadas are really loud . This place is nice. It’s easy to see , and the waterfall is just a matter of going down a few stairs. I made the mistake of thinking we’d arrived, lol . Wow, we weren’t there yet, lol. When I thought we’d arrived, it was still amazing. The view on this side and then the waterfall came into view in the distance. Maybe because it was raining, the water volume is pretty good, I wonder if this is the end? This is a rock, and I’m afraid I might slip and fall, so I’ll try not to go too far. Wow, there’s a really big slug. It looks kind of weird .帰りました。 English: It looks like that place. It looks like Nikobuchi Falls in Kochi Prefecture (I actually made a video about my trip to Kochi). The water is so beautiful, amazing. Here is a spectacular view of the beautiful natural scenery of Amami Oshima. Amazing, so beautiful, the water is so beautiful. I wonder if it even catches a little on camera . There is a shining emerald green dragonfly. A beautiful dragonfly . Even if the weather forecast predicts rain , it comes and goes, and sometimes it’s completely sunny, so it would be a shame not to go anywhere just because it’s raining. In fact, if it’s summer, you might just want to go sightseeing in your swimsuit all the time (you won’t have to worry about getting dirty). From here, the mountain road is narrow , but there is a road wide enough that oncoming cars can pass each other. If you go 5km to the left, you will see Mt. Yuwandake, is that a hiking trail? Next, after about 10km, you will come out towards the sea and apparently there is a cafe. If it is open, I will stop there for a break and have lunch. The road is quite rough , and there are surprisingly many cars. I thought there would be no oncoming cars, but two cars passed me right away. 9km is a bit nerve- wracking. The plants are amazing, there are so many I’ve never seen before, and there are no ways around ! A huge puddle Wow , the mountain road is longer than I thought , and it’s nerve-wracking as I continue on. Now I’m on a wide road. Thank goodness, I’m tired. Wow, these separated lanes give me such a sense of security. Wow, I can see the ocean now. I’m a little tired after getting out of the mountain road. I found an observation deck so I ‘ll take a detour. The mountain road is a little tiring after it’s been a while. It’s tiring, isn’t it? And the view is amazing. The beautiful scenery and the horizon spread out . And the clouds have cleared a little, which feels great. An amazing view. It feels like I’ve arrived in a new town. Ah, this seems like it . I’ve arrived at the restaurant for today’s lunch. I’m at Westerners Cafe. What an atmosphere. What is this? A little scary. The omelet rice curry is quite a light curry. Is it spicy ? The taste is spicy (spicy). It’s delicious. The spiciness of the curry and the omelet rice surprisingly go well together. And this was included with the drink. I wonder if it comes with drinks by default. And while I was eating A bird came up very close, looking at me for something. It seemed like if it came here it could eat, and it’s been coming here to get food since its parents’ generation, lol. Apparently its parents told it that it could eat at this restaurant. We arrived! Wow! It was only a 2-minute drive from the cafe we were at earlier, so we arrived at the next tourist spot. The theory goes that if you head to the sea on the west side , most areas have great views. Below the cliffs, Tokuhama Cliffs on the Sea . The Tokuhama Cliffs towering in front of us are called Gama by the locals, and are said to have been created by a major earthquake during the Kamakura period. A fantastic staircase . I wonder if it was built recently? A really beautiful observation deck. First of all, we walked around Miyakozaki and climbed up through the rain showers . The first one was so tough, so this feels so easy. It’s a wonderful view. It would be nice to float through on a small boat , slowly admiring the scenery. Wow, that’s nice. What a wonderful view. It ‘s amazing. It’s like a giant had shoveled a shovel from above . It’s been carved out in such a way. It doesn’t look so big on camera , but that tunnel is really high compared to the size of the tunnel . The hole on the right is bigger than the hole in the tunnel. This one is big too. The wind is cool today, completely different from yesterday. It’s not that hot. I don’t even feel the strength of the sun . It’s a beautiful sunny day and the wind is cool, so it’s really nice. I wonder if this is a feature of the west side or something. Yesterday I went to the east side. This is amazing. This is the best, somehow it’s the best . The view is truly spectacular! The ocean is beautiful. I can just stare blankly . The breeze is so pleasant, it makes me really sleepy. It feels like it’s been carved from above , creating a unique sight. By the way, the tunnel that I saw in the distance earlier was opened in 1968. Until then, the only way to get to the neighboring village was to walk or cross by boat, so when the tunnel was completed and buses began running , people celebrated by beating drums and dancing. Meion Tunnel . Oh, there was a place like this in a car racing game I used to play. Next is Nagase Tunnel . The total length is 1,432m. We’re entering Nagase Tunnel. Next, I think I’ll go see the waterfall. After seeing the waterfall, I’ll go canoeing through the mangroves. Amazing. Really surrounded by mountains. Wow, what an amazing view ! Oh , we’ve arrived at a place with a great view. Amami Oshima is great, I never get bored of driving from area to area . Wonderful . Arrived at Arangachi Falls. It’s just a 1-2 minute walk from where we parked the car, making it incredibly easy to sightsee. The sound of the waterfall is amazing . There’s no signal here so we couldn’t use the internet at all . Google Maps didn’t work halfway through either, so we had to follow the signs to find our way. The river is beautiful, too. This is either the third waterfall I’ve seen since coming to Amami Oshima, or it’s the third waterfall I’ve seen, but this is the easiest to sightsee. Wow, what a wonderful view. Arangachi Falls looks like a three-tiered waterfall from there, and it seems to have a drop of about 30m. For some reason there’s a beehive set up here. Does that mean someone got rid of it? So we arrived at the Mangrove Park. Apparently, there are 60-90 minute courses for canoeing , and they have set times and registration starts 20 minutes before. That being said, we might not be able to go canoeing right away. I ‘ll ask at the reception anyway . Super lucky ! We decided to join in about 30 minutes later. We changed into our swimsuits and set off. Wearing a swimsuit is probably the safest option. From the Mangrove Park reception to the canoe launch point… it’s pretty far. I thought maybe I ‘d taken the wrong path. It’s about a 5 minute walk. Even if our upper bodies don’t get wet, there’s a chance it might rain. There’s a changing room, so we need to arrive 10-15 minutes early. It’s a good idea to arrive at the reception 30 minutes early. Once we were ready, we put on our life jackets, practiced paddling, and then got started ! There was a place to put our water bottles, so our 60-minute canoeing experience began. We followed our guide while enjoying the breathtaking views of nature. Occasionally , we saw sea turtles. I wanted to see them. It was so shallow, so beautiful ! It’s true! There are tons of crabs! There are some cute little mangrove trees. The breeze is so cool, it’s amazing ! It’s true! Are there any fish there? Apparently the fish are delicious. It is a national park, but you can catch and take home these kinds of sea fish. And since it’s low tide right now, you can even come ashore. A ton of fiddler crabs are dancing, trying their best to impress the male. Apparently , if the female likes him, she will enter his nest. It’s like they’re saying, “Wow, why don’t you come to my house?” The way they move is kind of funny, like a security guard. These crabs are eating right now. Can you guess what they ate? They eat the soil. Muddy mangrove soil is rich in nutrients. Crabs eat the mud, absorbing the nutrients inside and growing. They are said to grow to about 2 meters at high tide. These are huge mangrove clams. They have a special secret that allows them to survive in seawater. Normally, plants die from salt. First, this Kandelia candel absorbs seawater through its roots , which filter it and turn it into almost fresh water. It then sends the water up the tree and survives. Bruguiera also filters through its roots, but a lot of salt cannot be filtered out and gets inside, so it sends this salt up to its leaves. Bruguiera has yellow leaves, but these are dead leaves that have accumulated the salt that has gotten inside. Next, we head deeper into the mangrove forest. It started raining unexpectedly. Raincoats are available for free rental. An eel is hiding. An eel. Wow, there are eels too! It’s starting to rain, it’s really quite an adventure , and we continue to go deeper. It’s quicker to walk quite shallowly. It has a really nice atmosphere. It’s a little scary if you’re barefoot, it’s scary if you can’t see , the fallen leaves make your feet feel slimy, it’s a little uncomfortable , you don’t get to experience walking here very often, because you’re walking barefoot, it feels slimy and a little muddy , and to be honest it feels a little uncomfortable, but it was a lot of fun. My outfit is pretty chaotic, but I was able to take a commemorative photo in this mysterious place , it was great, it was like I was being rescued, it was quite surreal, it was so easy, so easy, really, amazing, its back is blue . On the way back I spotted a kingfisher, but it was really far away, it was so blurry I couldn’t see it lol. The 60 minute course was just right , and it was fun. There are changing rooms and showers, so I took a shower and brought a towel. As long as I brought a towel, I’d be fine with just a towel, sandals and change of clothes (and a drink). I was glad I could shower and change here, I was glad I brought change of clothes and a towel. It ‘s great that there’s a shower , it only took an hour, and the length was just right , 食べましたか、おいしいよ。 English: It’s just about enjoyable , but just tiring. However, we are supposed to meet up 15 minutes before the canoe ride, but it’s quite a bit of walking, so I think it’s better to go early from the reception . I found a sign for wild animals. By the way , I plan to join the night tour after dinner today. Please read to the end. Here we are, having dinner at the island izakaya Muchakana, which is very close to the hotel, about a minute away . We will be having dinner here tonight. We were shown to a spacious table and I’m glad I made a reservation. The restaurant has a large space in the back. Today’s sashimi platter is a sure thing. I ‘ll start with local cuisine, sashimi/seafood. There are many different menus even just for local cuisine . Today I used up a lot of energy walking around Miyakozaki and paddling the canoe , so I’m going to eat a lot. Chawanmushi as an appetizer is good. Chawanmushi as an appetizer is great. A chawanmushi appetizer is the best. I finished my large order. I was a little hungry. I was tired from the canoeing and maybe I ordered too much. I’m looking forward to arriving. Good job. Ginger ale (I’m allergic to alcohol, lol). Delicious and gentle. It’s good to be able to eat such gentle food first . Delicious! I feel like I could drink the chawanmushi. I’m pretty hungry today so I might eat a lot. Yellowfin tuna . Over here, the one with vinegared miso is eel tuna. Over here, red sea bream. Over here is taman (a fish called Hamafuefuki?). Diamondback squid and island octopus. The soy sauce in the bottle over there is the island’s sweet soy sauce, and the soy sauce in the middle is regular soy sauce, so please enjoy it to your liking . The sashimi platter is here! The salad is huge! Yes! Next came the pork shabu salad. Amami Oshima is really cheap , isn’t it? Every restaurant is cheap, so the portions are huge. However, I’m really hungry today so I ‘m sure I can eat a lot. Let’s eat the salad first and then the sashimi. This time, the octopus was delicious, which is rare, followed by sea bream. Next was yellowfin tuna. The tuna was delicious. I thought it was a little stringy, but it was delicious . Surprisingly, the octopus was delicious. Diamondback squid and diamondback squid are also delicious . I usually eat squid. 食べましたか? English: There isn’t any, but diamondback squid is delicious Sashimi is the best after all Taman sashimi Chicken sashimi is here It looks really delicious Fried chicken has also arrived I’m going to eat a lot today Fried gill flounder This fried chicken is actually fish So you can eat fish as fried chicken and chicken as sashimi It’s amazing The fried chicken has too much mayonnaise It’s so delicious I wouldn’t know it was fish if you didn’t say it was fish The texture is great Chicken sashimi Chicken sashimi is also here in Kagoshima, but I’ve also tried it in Ibusuki and it was delicious , but you can also eat it in Amami Chicken sashimi tastes better when eaten with condiments I like green onions and ginger so it’s irresistible for those who love green onions and ginger You should definitely try chicken sashimi if you come to Kagoshima It ‘s delicious with soy sauce but ponzu sauce goes better with it There is also skin, chicken skin And next up was oily somen noodles! It’s a local dish, it tastes like silver sardines or ramen , it looks delicious, the flavor is mild, so I can eat a lot, the onions and vegetables are delicious, the flavor is mild, it’s a new sensation, it’s a genre I’ve never eaten before, it has a good point that ramen and udon don’t have, I wonder what it is, the broth is good, it looks like it goes well with the onions, and it does, this fried chicken is delicious, fried horse mackerel, if you call it fried fish, it is definitely fish, but it’s kind of fluffy, oily somen noodles, chicken sashimi, fried horse mackerel sashimi platter is definitely worth trying, if you’re really hungry you can eat a lot, I started dinner yesterday with my stomach a little full, It was delicious but I was so full it was difficult and a bit painful but it was time to order more lol This is the first time I’ve seen this type of chicken nanban. You can enjoy fried food in a healthy way. Amazing, so this is what it’s like. There are tomatoes too which I’ve never seen before . Chicken nanban that you can eat like a salad . The tomatoes are delicious and the sauce is also good. I looked at the new menu and there was something called Yakiniku fried rice which also looked really delicious but I wonder if I could eat it. I ate quite a bit so sorry to have kept you waiting. Here it is, deep fried peanut tofu ! Fried peanut tofu soup (I’m going to eat a lot) It’s amazing, this is amazing , considering the variety of the menu, it might be the best restaurant we’ve visited this time , it’s got a wide variety, it’s delicious and cheap, it’s great if you come with a group of four and share and eat a variety of dishes, if you’re pretty hungry even two people could eat it, it’s so much , it’s really delicious , this sauce underneath is a little bit lower, this sauce is good , if you dip it a little before eating it it’s really delicious , the seasoning is good too, just right , not too strong, not too thin, if it’s too strong or too greasy you’ll say “ugh” and get full quickly but this place is great to eat, I eat fried food and the peanut tofu is delicious , it melts in your mouth, the food is really good, I want to try making a sandwich with chicken nanban, it looks really tasty, I wonder if I can eat fried rice, I’m debating whether to eat fried rice or not, but I’m not sure if I can eat more from here, so after some deliberation I ordered 間と一緒にお野菜を楽しみました。 English: This stylish fried rice was served at the very end of the meal, followed by grilled meat fried rice . There was a bit of time left so I was feeling full but I could eat it all. This is definitely delicious. The food at this restaurant is somehow easy to eat, I guess you could say. The taste and texture are easy to eat. Everything was delicious . I went to 123 Mart to buy some sweets to enjoy after the meal . The andagi was different to the andagi I had at Family Mart yesterday. It was delicious and the size was just right for after a meal. They sell it at 123 Mart. And finally the time had come. It’s a tour to observe wildlife in the mountains at night. It’s one-on-one with a guide and includes transportation, which is great. We arrived and it seems that advance reservations are required to travel on this mountain at night. So let’s get going. I’m sure I’ll see something on the camera later. We’ll basically drive slowly in the car and shine a flashlight outside to look for living creatures. Are there ever any wild boars? んがきたまぐろだ。 English: There it is , see , see, see, there it is, look, we’ve found a rabbit. It might be the smallest rabbit we’ve seen today. It does n’t run away at all. In fact , if we’re not careful, it might run into the car. Its eyesight is so bad in this direction . It’s not moving at all. These rabbits have originally been present on Amami Oshima and Okinawa since that time, so this rabbit’s DNA is the same as that of fossils on the mainland . Rabbits were originally on the mainland, but were left behind on Amami Oshima and Tokunoshima when the Japanese archipelago separated . They went extinct on the mainland because there were many natural predators, but on Amami Oshima there are no natural predators, so it has somehow survived. And we found a bird in a place like this. The guide has great eyesight, doesn’t he? This bird and rabbit are featured in pamphlets and are such representative creatures of Amami (it’s called a blue jay, apparently). It looks even more vivid in the daytime. It’s amazing , there’s no way for it to escape and you can see it so clearly, it’s amazing (the guide is very excited!). Can you see that some of the fur is longer when the light hits it? So it’s called a long- woolly rat. Oh good, good, it ‘s super rare. I’ve seen one for the first time in weeks. Oh, I see. I wonder where it goes from there. This is a favorite food of vipers, so they climb trees in search of it. Oh , it actually wants to go back to the tree. Its face , which looks like it’s come back, is cute. Surprisingly, it’s trying to escape. It looks like it’s given up and is heading towards the tree. Amazing, amazing, take a look ! しい。 English: Its eyes aren’t very good when it comes to eating , so it eats anything that’s in front of it. It’s not a gourmet at all. It’s hard to see, but its claws are really sharp, so it’s not good at bunny hops, but it uses its claws to climb up this slope. As for why it’s here, it’s hard to tell from a distance, but it has the same pattern as this moss, so it’s like a form of camouflage, the closer you get, the more dotted and uneven it becomes. It’s called the Amami Ishikawa frog, and in Amami, just being able to see this frog is enough to make you happy. It has a jelly-like substance on the bottom of its hands that acts as a suction cup, so if it tries to climb up, it will probably go up too. It’s a natural monument, so don’t touch it, and it will probably run away if you get out of the car. It ‘s called the Amami scorpion imitation, and its name has been chosen as one of the three most unusual insects in the world. These fakes only work because there are real ones around. There are no scorpions in Japan, and it’s really strange that it dresses like a scorpion that doesn’t exist in Japan. It’s called the blue pigeon, and it’s a really green pigeon. It’s a daytime bird, and it’s really greener when you see it during the day, so it’s an interesting pigeon . I discovered something! Amazing camera gaze. Wow, amazing. It’s tilting its head , is it searching? It’s cute , it’s watching, watching. We also found a male frog , it’s the type that doesn’t run away. Oh , there were the most black rabbits. We also found a Ryukyu Kingfisher, and that’s how the night tour ended. It was really great! We stayed in the car, so it was easy, and the guide had a lot of knowledge, so it was fun the whole time. Apparently, the hanging flowers that bloom only on summer nights fall by morning, so we returned to the hotel. The night tour was great . I was worried that it would just be a drive along a mountain road and then it would end, but I was glad that we were able to see rare animals like black rabbits and long-haired rats. Surprisingly, there were no vipers. There weren’t any there. Surprisingly, even if you try to look for Habu snakes, they probably only appear occasionally on the roads . It really does rain a lot on Amami Oshima, but it doesn’t seem like it will rain all day long. Even if it ‘s forecast to rain, it will be sunny, so there are regular Family Mart products and a bakery next to it that sells bento boxes , bread, and all sorts of other things . As I said in yesterday’s video , I recommend Sata Andagi. They sell out in the middle of the night, so you have to go early to avoid them being sold out, but Sata Andagi is seriously delicious. This is what the third day of my trip to Amami Oshima was like. I was baptized by a rainstorm at Miyakozaki, and it was fun seeing the animals on the night tour. Please look forward to the next video. Thank you for watching.
