I love Italy’s tourist spots, food, and wine A burglar broke into my house and it was so scary… Even as someone who loves Italy, I absolutely won’t line up for the Italian Pavilion at the Osaka Expo! The Italian Pavilion is wonderful I wanted to go in too! But waiting for 4 hours is such a waste! Enjoy those 4 hours doing something else! Here are some pavilions at the Osaka Expo where you can have fun without waiting For those who really want to enter the Italy Pavilion Tips to shorten your waiting time even a little We will introduce it at the end, so please make sure to watch until the end! Enjoy the pavilion without waiting It’s important to choose pavilions with a good turnover rate and line up For example, even though there was a line at the Spain Pavilion, the turnover rate was good, and I was able to get inside in about 5 minutes! Inside the Spain Pavilion, people are always walking and moving forward There is no congestion and the turnover rate is good Similarly, in the Australian Pavilion, you can walk through the interior and, after watching some videos, you can freely proceed, resulting in a good turnover rate On the other hand, the Italian Pavilion has a poor turnover rate Waiting for over two hours even for this level of line The reason is that in the Italy Pavilion, you sit and watch the video after entering You cannot proceed until you finish watching There is also a waiting time before watching the video Furthermore, the exhibits are wonderful Many people tend to take their time viewing, which slows down the rotation and leads to longer wait times If you line up at pavilions with good turnover rates like the Spain Pavilion and the Australia Pavilion, you can see many pavilions with shorter wait times! However, the Spain Pavilion features an exhibition themed around the sea, but honestly, it didn’t feel very Spanish, and I didn’t quite understand its meaning (I’ve been to Spain about ten times) Similar to Italy, it would have been better if Spain showcased its art more prominently, displaying works by Picasso, Velázquez, El Greco, and Goya (this is just my subjective opinion) Having visited the expo three times, I can say that this pavilion has a great turnover rate and wonderful content! The most recommended pavilion is Pasona Natureverse The staff at Pasona Natureverse say, ‘Please do not line up, please do not line up,’ but suddenly they changed to ‘It’s okay to line up now,’ and a large crowd started lining up all at once Let’s wait near the entrance to line up! At this time, it took just five minutes to enter the Pasona Pavilion The Pasona Pavilion is said to have the best content and fulfillment overall at the Osaka Expo!! It has an excellent turnover rate! The concept is ‘Life, Thank You.’ Characters from Osamu Tezuka, Astro Boy and Black Jack, make an appearance Walking through the visuals and exhibits Among them, the highlight is when Black Jack performs an iPS heart transplant to revive Astro Boy, Neo-Astro! This is the world’s first exhibition of iPS hearts! Real iPS hearts and iPS cardiac sheets It’s moving to see it up close! It is made from about 200 million cells of iPS heart cells, each about 5 cm in size If you look closely, you can see it pulsating! A must-see! The iPS cardiac sheet has been applied to actual patients with cardiomyopathy, and the results have been good It’s being utilized in modern medicine! You can experience catheter surgeries and see exhibitions on the future of healthcare There are various impressive exhibits in collaboration with Osaka University and private companies Finally, a block-shaped screen moves while telling the story of Atom and Blackjack It reaches a climax and is moving! Depending on the occasion, there may be applause! I visited the expo three times by July I saw more than 20 pavilions This Pasona Pavilion is the best at the Osaka Expo! Even if you can’t make a reservation, the turnover rate is good, so definitely check out the Pasona Pavilion! They also have a great selection of souvenirs! The Osaka Expo is open from 9 AM to 10 PM Pavilions cannot be entered after 9 PM In the evening, more people start to leave Even the pavilion that had a long line during the day becomes quite empty after 7 PM Instead of waiting in line during the day, we enjoy the large roof ring Enjoying various dances and events from different countries It’s recommended to tour the pavilions after dark Singapore had long lines during the day Uzbekistan, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia It gets quite empty after 7 PM! No, for now, it’s about a 2-hour wait Head straight to the Italy Pavilion at 9 AM, right after the venue opens If you line up around 7 PM, when the last entry is allowed, the wait time will be the shortest! Currently, the 9 AM entry slot is fully booked every day Many people enter after 10 AM It is also difficult to line up at the Italy Pavilion at 9 AM If you really want to enter the Italian Pavilion, it’s best to line up at 7 PM! However, be aware that the final entry is adjusted to 9 PM On busy days, you might not be allowed to line up even at 7 PM In the end, it’s necessary to line up early Let’s avoid lining up at the Italy Pavilion The maximum number of visitors per day for Expo 2025 in Osaka is about 200,000!! In the previous Expo 1970 in Osaka, the maximum number of visitors per day was 840,000! 840,000 is about the size of a city’s population Compared to that, Expo 2025 in Osaka is still quite empty The Commons Joint Building has sections from A to F It’s interesting to see the cultural displays of various countries During the day, there might be a bit of a line, but you can get in without waiting too long! Each country’s area allows you to buy small local products and talk with the locals! It feels great to connect with that country! Stamping the Myakumyaku design with the six stamps available at each Commons pavilion creates an emotional blend of six colors of ukiyo-e and Myakumyaku at the end! Let’s explore the Commons pavilions and immerse ourselves in the cultures of many countries! Each country has its own stamp You can quickly increase your stamps by going to the Commons! I was completely unsuccessful in my reservations before coming to the expo I didn’t have a single reservation Check the same-day reservation site on your smartphone after entering No availability for reservations at all All that’s left is to wait in line… There are about six on-site registration terminals set up like this within the Expo Among the six locations where same-day reservations are easier to make than through smartphone networks, there are 16 terminals at the registration center next to the International Red Cross! The other five locations have only one terminal each This is located next to the International Red Cross It is recommended to line up at the on-the-day registration center and make a reservation from the terminal There is no guarantee that you can definitely make a reservation from the terminal Availability is prioritized more from the smartphone’s internet! There are no openings at the Italy Pavilion even from the terminal I was able to reserve a future city in about 2 minutes If you can make a reservation, you can enter the pavilion without waiting in line! I recommend making a reservation from the terminal! I want to enter the Italy Pavilion, but waiting for a long time feels like a waste! 地球の国全部行く！
大阪万博で大人気のパビリオン、イタリア館！
美術、ファッション、車など、展示物のすばらしさ、充実度が各国のパビリオンの中でNo1ともいわれています。
そのため、予約を取るのはほぼ不可能。連日朝から晩まで大行列となっています。

私はGWと7月、合計3回万博に行きましたが、イタリア館には残念ながら入ることができず。
事前予約は全てハズレ、当日予約は端末でトライしましたが全く空いていませんでした。
イタリア館を並ぶ際には、最低でも2時間、長ければ6時間待ちなので諦めました。

私は仕事で4年ほどイタリア、ミラノに住んでいたことがあります。
当時のイタリア世界遺産50か所すべて行きました！
イタリアの観光地、食べ物、ワインは大好きです。
一度、家に強盗が入り死にそうになりましたが、イタリアは第二の故郷と思っております。

そんな私でも、今回の大阪万博のイタリア館には絶対に並ぶな！といいたい！
イタリア館は素晴らしいです。私も入りたかった！
でも4時間並ぶなんてもったいない！その4時間を他のことで楽しんでほしい！
