Nagoya Castle’s Honmaru Palace is an important building within Nagoya Castle, located in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture. Completed in 1615 by order of Tokugawa Ieyasu during the early Edo period, the Honmaru Palace served as a lodging for the shogun and feudal lords, as well as a venue for government affairs and ceremonies.
