Today, I’m at Nasu Shiobara Station in Tochigi Prefecture. I’m taking a local bus to my accommodation for today. After about an hour, I arrived at the terminal bus stop. From here, it’s about a 5-minute ride in the ryokan’s shuttle bus. We’ve arrived. “Akasawa Onsen Ryokan” (Akasawa Onsen Ryokan) The lobby is spacious. There was a cat. Hello Excuse me for intruding I got scolded I’m sorry 🙇‍♀️ This child’s name is Asa-chan. She is a 7-year-old girl. Is Asa-chan a cat who works during the day? Only her butt is visible. She’s sleeping on the cat tower.
Will she be able to play when she wakes up? The cats are walking freely around the building. They seem interested in the entrance. Are they waiting for guests? They came! ☺️ The guest rooms are on the second floor, up the stairs. Do they want to go into the room? This is Asa-chan’s room tour. When you want the door opened, you just meow, right? I’m leaving my scent all over the room ☺️ You’re beautiful. Relaxing on the chair. Getting sleepy? But then… She seems interested in the “momiji manju” on the table. You can’t eat that! 🥺 Asa-chan noticed something. I prepared a slightly unusual toy. A toy made of paper that bounces. 😎 She seems interested 😳😳😳 They’ve become a little clingy. They’re a tsundere cat. I’d be happy if she’s opening up to me. But she gets angry when I pet her, so I’ll just watch her quietly. I spent a relaxing time with Asa-chan in the room. It’s dinner time. A variety of creative dishes from Japanese, Western, and Chinese cuisines. We enjoyed the delicious meal. This is Jujuu (Piggy) A cat that looks good by the stove You like flowers, don’t you? Asa-chan is growling at Fu-Fu-chan! It seems these two don’t get along very well. We talked with the owner and the cats. In order to make the inn enjoyable for many people who have cats, they are making various efforts. Jujyu-kun is also nearby, ears perked up. The hot spring has separate indoor baths for men and women, as well as an open-air bath. The water was lukewarm, so I could soak in it for a long time. Good morning! Breakfast was delicious too. The Scandinavian-style interior is cozy. It warms both body and soul. 📍“Shiobara Monogatari Museum” The first floor is a souvenir shop, and the second floor is a restaurant. The view is great. They have everything from set meals to sweets. I ordered the ginger pork set meal. It was very delicious. A hot spring town where you can relax with traditional scenery and cats. Shiobara Onsen was truly a wonderful place. I visited in winter this time, but I’m sure the summer scenery is also beautiful. I highly recommend everyone to visit. See you in the next video!
