福井県の道の駅越前 越前海岸と温泉フェイスマスクとカニと【S660ドライブ】
Let’s get started. There’s a botanical garden run by Echizen Town right near the roadside station. Seasonal flowers that are currently in bloom are clearly displayed. Next, we’re heading to the Echizen roadside station. It’s about 20 minutes away from the previous roadside station. The previous station, Park Inn Nyugao-ka, had Echizen Salt Azuki Soft Serve, which was really delicious. The soft serve had a nice, firm texture. It’s hard to describe, but rather than being smooth, it had a solid, satisfying texture instead of just being creamy. The combination of salt and azuki beans was incredibly tasty. I’m not sure if it’s an original product of the station, but it’s definitely a local specialty. If you visit Echizen, I highly recommend the Echizen Salt Azuki Soft Serve. You should give it a try. The parking lot at the roadside station is spacious, so you can park comfortably. It might get crowded on Sundays or holidays, though. But generally, there’s plenty of space. The restrooms are also clean and well-maintained. It’s a great place to relax and take your time. Now, we’re heading toward the Echizen coastline. There’s a roadside station called Echizen along the sea. We’re driving along Route 417 towards the coast. I’ve visited the Echizen roadside station before. Last time, we arrived just as the sun was setting. You can see it in a previous video, so please check that out too. That time, we arrived after 5 PM. I was able to enjoy the hot spring at the station, but the shops were already closed. Today, I have more time to spend here than before. So, I’ll also take a look at the specialty goods area at the roadside station. It’s already 31°C today. It’s really hot. It’s a true summer day. Right now, I’m driving through an area called Oda in Echizen Town. There are family crests displayed in places like the roadside flower beds. This is the birthplace of the Oda Nobunaga clan. This area is called Oda, in Echizen Town, Fukui Prefecture. It’s said to be the origin of the Oda clan, ancestors of Nobunaga. This is considered the birthplace of the Oda family. Although Nobunaga himself was from Owari. There’s a sign saying it’s 7 km to the Echizen coast. We’re heading onto Prefectural Route 264. I can see the sign for the Echizen roadside station. I remember passing through here last time I came to Echizen. I can see the ocean now. It’s not in the video, though. But yes, I definitely passed through here before. Yes, I remember passing through here. I was driving, hoping to arrive before the sun set. There’s a steep downhill stretch that continues for a while. There are signs reminding you to downshift your gears. I can see another sign for the Echizen roadside station. From here, it’s about four more minutes until we arrive. This is the Echizen Onsen hot spring area. We’ll be arriving at the Echizen roadside station soon. Here we are at Echizen roadside station. We just visited the Echizen roadside station. They have seafood markets, hot springs, a souvenir shop, and a restaurant. There’s even a crab museum. Since I’m not heading home today, I can’t buy fresh seafood. But you can buy seafood and have it shipped to your home. I looked for original products from this roadside station… but I couldn’t really find any. Instead, since this area is famous for Echizen Onsen, I bought a facial mask containing hot spring minerals. I’ll try it out after I get home. So, what I bought at the Echizen roadside station is this—an Echizen Onsen facial mask. I couldn’t find any original food products, so I bought this instead. Since I just finished taking a bath, I’ll go ahead and try it out. I don’t usually use things like this… It smells like beauty serum. I’m putting the facial mask on my face now. Sorry for using the camera as a mirror. I don’t normally use facial masks, but I managed to put it on like this. It feels really moisturizing. I’ll leave it on for 10 minutes. 10 minutes later… It’s been 10 minutes, so let’s take it off. How does it look? Does my face look more radiant? My face feels very moisturized. Using a facial mask is pretty nice. It contains mineral components from Echizen Onsen. They have products like this, so you should try them if you visit. It feels moist and comfortable. I couldn’t find many original products, but there are lots of souvenirs on sale. The restaurant where you can eat seafood is also really good. I didn’t eat there this time, though. This time, I just bought a facial mask, but now I’m heading to the next roadside station.
