嬉野温泉 和多屋別荘にて|器と和雑貨とお茶のある時間

Hello. How have you been in this hot weather? Today, I’m driving to find a little coolness. Welcome to Ureshino City, Saga Prefecture, famous for tea and hot springs. The ryokan is fully booked, but even day trips offer a pleasant summer moment. Here I came seeking coolness. Entering a place of quiet time. Refreshing sounds welcome me. Physalis softly announces summer. Wataya Besso stands in the hot spring town of Ureshino, Saga. A place with abundant hot water and a gentle flow of time. Ceramics, Japanese goods, tea, and aroma. Even a day trip fills the heart with ease. Drawn by the scent of incense. Currently using Kayuragi incense from Nippon Kodo at home. The heart naturally draws to new scents. 224 porcelain. Hizen Yoshida ware, made in Ureshino City, Saga. A free style of craftsmanship without fixed forms is characteristic of Hizen Yoshida. World-renowned French patissier Pierre Hermé. His concept brand café promotes wonderful Japanese things worldwide. Pierre Hermé. Original white porcelain served by 224 porcelain. Nippon Kodo’s fragrance brand ‘Yohaku’. Time to have lunch. I reserved at the Japanese restaurant ‘Rikyu’. Moving to a quiet private room. Delicious dishes served in beautiful vessels. Enjoying fresh sashimi. Ureshino yudofu (hot tofu) has a gentle, melting taste. The flavor slowly develops in the soy milk. Saga beef melted in my mouth. A fulfilling moment with delicious Ureshino tea. Thank you for the meal. Heading to the large public bath. Ureshino Onsen is selected as one of Japan’s three best ‘beautiful skin’ hot springs. Enjoying the soothing sound of the nearby Ureshino River. From the rest area, a calm view of the flowing Ureshino River spreads out. A quiet space to soak in the afterglow of the bath. Lulled by the calm, eyelids naturally grow heavy. Some guests quietly fall asleep. A place to relax even on a day trip. Soenen, a tea farm with over 100 years of Ureshino tea cultivation, now in its fourth generation. The gentle aroma of Ureshino tea softly drifts. BOOKS&TEA SANPUKU. About 10,000 books selected according to the theme. Taking a breath with Ureshino tea and books after the bath. A sutra-copying room wrapped in silence. The mind seems to calm. Touching lightly on Japanese aesthetics, a day flows gently. Forgetting the harsh summer heat, my mind feels a little restored.
