夏甘味を愉しむ京都さんぽ｜茶と菓寮と器｜琥珀流し｜アンティーク巡り｜季節に合わせたかき氷
KYOTO Ichijo & SanjoHello . Summer is here! The hot days continue, how are you doing? This time, we will visit shops in the Kyoto Imperial Palace East area. (※This is a summary of the shops we visited on multiple days) I hope you will enjoy it until the end ☺ First, we will visit a teahouse near the Kyoto Imperial Palace… We will go to a special seat where you can see a beautiful garden ♡ A cool and delightful bite You can see the Inari shrine and the storehouse from the Edo period, and you can feel the history… We will mix the sesame bean paste into the cold shiratama! The bean paste is very smooth. The aroma of sesame spreads… A little white syrup is added for a gentle sweetness that is delicious in summer This is an adult shaved ice enjoyed with syrup made from Toyama sake. White bean paste and brown sugar yokan are unique to Toraya. There is a sweet bean paste inside the ice. This is shaved ice that lets you enjoy “Japanese” culture ♪ Every time I visit, it is one of my favorite shops where I can enjoy beautiful settings and seasonal sweets. It was delicious, thank you for the meal. Next, I stopped by an American antique shop. They sell old tools and miscellaneous goods, mainly American antiques from the good old days. There are some interesting items, and it’s an exciting space. The kitchen items are also stylish , and I’m interested in the bags… This one is made of sheep leather and a basket. It’s light and very practical! The colors are blue, green, and several other colors. I was interested in the stylish green. I visited! Next, I went to Sanjo. A shop that mainly sells tableware made by artists. Glassware is cool and lovely. I’m especially attracted to glass items in the summer… This is a work that gives off a warm and cozy feeling. The shop, which was renovated from an old house, also has a small coffee shop, and it was a wonderful shop where you can find your favorite piece in a relaxing time. Let’s have lunch at the nearby Sanjo-kai Shopping Arcade. It’s a pasta and pinchos restaurant. The restaurant closes when the pinchos are sold out, so it’s recommended to come early. What should I get? I wait while choosing. The restaurant has about 10 seats. It’s a popular restaurant, and there are often long lines on weekends. Perhaps because it was a weekday when I visited, I was seated relatively quickly. The pinchos look exciting♪ Colorful appetizers. First of all, you can enjoy it with your eyes. Simple and delicious – eat it hot and fresh! The soup is rich and the noodles are chewy and delicious. The flavor is quite strong… This is the most popular pasta. The sauce is well mixed with the thick noodles. The moderately melted cheese is also nice! It was delicious, thank you for the meal. The hanging lanterns are stylish~ Next, let’s visit a spot near Nijo Castle where stylish shops gather… A shop selling handmade furniture and interior design made from solid teak wood. There are items to enjoy your life, from antique furniture and accessories to plants. It’s a mysterious space, and I wandered around feeling like I was searching for treasures… Retro glass items that have a nostalgic feeling. It’s strange that when I come across them now, they feel new… Apparently brass parts are also popular for DIY… There are also used clothes, and the lineup was very wide. After visiting, let’s take a look at the specialty store for houseplants. Green, refreshing to the eyes♪ Green♪ There are many cacti on the shelves🌵 I’m curious about how to grow houseplants, but the knowledgeable staff will carefully consult with you, so it seems like it would be fun to choose while talking☺ Just looking at the greenery was healing🍃Thank you very much. I came to Rokkaku in search of coolness and to taste summer sweets. A long-established Kyoto confectionery store founded 140 years ago. At the Rokkaku store, you can enjoy sweets in a quaint space that utilizes a Kyoto townhouse, but unfortunately there was an hour wait on this day… I bought souvenirs here and went to the main store. We moved to the main store on Takakura-dori. This is the modern interior. This is it! This is what I wanted to try♡ The popular amber nagashi with honey that changes monthly. At the main store, you can enjoy two types of flavors, the same as the Rokkaku store and the main store exclusive. Yogurt exclusive to the main store. Smooth and refreshing soft agar with refreshing honey. It has a cool taste. It was delicious and refreshing to enjoy the Japanese summer . Thank you for the meal . On another day, I had “Lace Kan” at home. It is a stick confectionery that is only available in the summer. It is a dish that has lemon slices trapped in Kingyokukan, which looks like lace. It is refreshing to eat and I want to overcome the hot summer with a refreshing and clear mind. Finally, I headed to a cafe near Arashiyama Omiya Station… A shop that utilizes an old house with the Arashiyama train passing in front of it. Wherever you look, you can feel the attention to detail in the beautiful interior. While taking advantage of the good points of the old house, the highly designed space was created together with several designers. The popular cheesecake is rich and delicious. The roasted green tea is made with tea leaves from Wazuka-cho, Kyoto. It was a sophisticated art space where you could enjoy your meal while sharpening your five senses.
