How are you all? Welcome to the Nabe Travel Channel. This time, I would like to visit Izu Atagawa Onsen Hotel Setas Royal, located in Higashiizu, Kamo District, Shizuoka Prefecture . It is a hot spring resort in a good location, just a 5-minute walk from Atagawa Station. This is the first BBH Group hotel for Nabe Travel. The hotel’s selling point is its service of providing 4 meals per night, so you can eat all the time. What kind of hotel is it? I’m really looking forward to it. Let’s take a look together. Don’t forget to rate it highly and subscribe to the channel. Now that we’ve checked in, let’s take a room tour. Now, the door is open. Our room is room 1004. The entrance is also a large space. This room is a Japanese-style room, but I wonder what kind of room it is. This is the toilet and bath. Let’s come and see it later. What is this room like? It’s a very simple Japanese-style room. It’s a Japanese-style room with an area of about 10 tatami mats . And what I’m curious about is this right in front of the hotel. Before coming to the hotel, the view was great. What is it like outside ? Wow, the sea is right in front of you. The ocean view. The sea is beautiful , emerald green. Amazing. I drove along the coast, and the sand is right in front of me. From here, you can see the Izu Seven Islands. You can see Oshima, Toshima, and Niijima. It’s cloudy today so it’s hard to see, but the view is great. There is a towel set here. You can hang your clothes here, and there are four chairs. The closet looks like it will be full of luggage . The hotel’s selling point is that you can eat and drink four meals a day . There is no refrigerator in particular. This time I booked through Rakuten Travel, and the plan includes one night stay and four meals, grilled abalone, sashimi lobster, and all-you-can-drink, and is a Japanese-style room. The room is a little dirty, but it was 30,800 yen for two people on a weekday. With abalone and lobster, and all-you-can-drink, I think it’s good value for money. Next, let’s take a stroll around the hotel. I would like to briefly touch on the hotel. Hotel Setas Royal is located in Atagawa Onsen , which is rich in metasilicic acid, an essential ingredient in hot springs that are said to be good for beauty . All rooms are oceanfront and this is one of the large hot spring hotels where you can enjoy the abundant natural hot springs that spring from the hotel’s own hot spring source. This time, four meals are included, but breakfast and now it’s time to eat the welcome food. You can enjoy oden, meat buns, popcorn and alcohol all you want, which is amazing. After that , there is dinner and a late-night snack. You can eat all you want for four meals a night. Next to the lounge is a manga corner and a table tennis corner, and next to that is a shop area. As for other activities, there is an indoor pool that can be used all year round in front of the sea, a karaoke box and a kids’ room. As for the pool , guests can use it for free, but please note that swimsuits and hats are not available for rental. There are massage chairs that can be used for free on the floor above the pool . Next, let’s go see the hot springs. The hot springs are a large public bath with a spectacular view that uses natural hot springs , and two types of open-air baths on the sea side and mountain side. The open-air baths are switched between men and women depending on the time of day, but you can use them exclusively by reservation from 8:00 p.m. to midnight. The baths are located in the annex, about 100 meters away from the main hotel building, because they want to preserve the scenery. It is Hoshikari no Yu on the mountain side. It is very beautiful. It was amazing to take a bath in the hot spring while looking up at the sky.Next , let’s go and see what dinner is like.This time, the meal is a half-buffet with a Japanese-Western fusion, with all-you-can-drink included.You can enjoy local dishes rooted in the area using seasonal local ingredients, such as grilled abalone and spiny lobster sashimi.The abalone and spiny lobster will vary depending on the plan combination, so please note that this is not an all-you-can-eat menu.There was also a combination of boiled golden-eyed snapper.The all-you-can-eat menu also had a lot of seafood, such as crab, horse mackerel, salmon, and golden-eyed snapper.I was happy that there was also fried food such as crab and sea bream.There was a wide variety of alcoholic drinks, including beer, highballs, shochu, whiskey, and fruit liquor.You can also drink all-you-can-drink sake and wine.Soft drinks include juice and oolong tea. There was a wide selection of coffee and tea. I picked a lot. I love Japanese food and seafood, so it’s irresistible . Thank you for your hard work, everyone. These are the abalone and spiny lobster that came with the set. The spiny lobster is small, but it’s chewy and the meat is sweet and delicious. After grilling the abalone, I ate it with butter and soy sauce. The red shrimp from the all-you-can-eat menu was also very sweet and delicious. It was a satisfying dinner. Thank you for the meal. After dinner, we had dinner from 7:30 to 11:00 p.m. You can drink alcohol at the bar until 10:00. You can also get beer and liqueur for free here. This is enough, but they also have udon for dinner. For breakfast, you can enjoy a Japanese and Western buffet with grilled fish, hot tofu , seasonal dishes, simmered dishes, and bread. I also had this crab miso soup for dinner, which was extremely delicious. For main dishes, there were seafood bowls, soba noodles, and bread, so the content was sufficient.
