ジブリのような森の中で一泊ソロキャンプ 雨・渓流・焚き火【4K・ASMR】

Weather in the mountains is highly unpredictable. t was supposed to be sunny, then cloudy — according to the forecast from the day before. I had just arrived when the rain suddenly started. Two hours passed, and still, the rain kept falling — no sign of it letting up. I took my chance when the rain lightened up and pushed ahead. It seemed like it had also been raining heavily upstream. The water in the mountain stream had turned cloudy and brown. The flat ground was muddy, so… I set up my tent on a slight slope. It was hot during the day, so I left the front of the tent open. At night, I made sure I could zip it up all the way. I got soaked from the water dripping off the leaves. Got everything set up, so it’s time to relax. Let’s chill the sake in the cold stream water as it flows gently through the valley. I’ve placed it where the current slows — let the gentle stream do the cooling. I found a tree stump that looked just right to sit on — like nature had set out a chair for me. I don’t know who made it, but… I’m gonna use this. I picked up some rice at the campsite. I didn’t know where to open it at first and got a bit stuck. Using the water from the mountain stream… Using the mess tin… I tried cooking rice using steam. To regain the strength I lost from these endless days of scorching heat… Today, I’m thinking of eating something to boost my stamina. The sound of cicadas feels soothing to my ears. I just grabbed some sake chilled perfectly in the cold mountain stream. When I opened the lid, the sweet aroma of the rice drifted out. For tonight’s meal, I’ve got some kabayaki eel from Miyazaki. When you lightly sear it over the campfire… A delicious, slightly charred aroma started to drift through the air. I laid the grilled eel generously over a bed of rice — a proper treat. Just a touch of kabayaki sauce—enough to gently bring out the flavor, nothing more. I can feel the sake seep through my throat, warming me deep into my belly. Giving thanks for the gifts of nature, I say: Itadakimasu. Surrounded by the sounds and sights of nature. Tasting the blessings of nature. And then, mind and body come into harmony. Gochisousama deshita—with deep gratitude for the meal. The sound of the mountain stream and the crackling fire after sunset feels soothing. There’s a Japanese saying, ‘If you calm your mind, even a hot day feels cool.’ But honestly, it’s still pretty hot. I’ve prepared a mosquito net to keep the bugs away. ’ll enjoy the campfire a little longer before heading to bed. The cool water of the morning stream feels wonderfully refreshing. It feels refreshingly cool now, as if the muggy, restless night was just a dream. For breakfast, I’m using the beef tongue we couldn’t cook yesterday. The seasoning is simple—only salt and pepper. Slowly grilled over the flames of a campfire. Takuan pickles are served alongside to help restore the salt balance. The fluids and salt lost through sweating. I was able to fully replenish (myself) at breakfast. Delicious! I drink coffee after the meal to wake myself up. To experience something out of the ordinary, I decided to try brewing coffee by boiling it. Amidst the forest shrouded in mist following the rain. There was something I absolutely wanted to try when I came here. I dip my feet in the stream, feeling the cold water on my skin while sipping coffee. Coffee enjoyed in an extraordinary, luxurious relaxation space is… It brought me exceptional healing. This is truly healing that you feel with all your senses. The coldness of the water and the sound of the stream are soothing. Having fully enjoyed the healing experience, I’ll start packing up. Camping gear covered in mud. Cleaning up at home afterward is going to be quite a task. Wash the pegs and groundsheet. Dry the rain-soaked tent by sunning it outside. I believe camping isn’t truly over until all the cleanup is done. And as I clean up, my thoughts drift to the next camping trip. That too is a joyful moment. I take the ashes from the campfire home and scatter them in my garden. That’s because ash from firewood is rich in nutrients that plants need. Because the alkalinity of the ash helps neutralize and improve acidic soil. Lately, I find myself thinking how much I want to help preserve the beautiful nature of Japan—for generations to come. Grateful to have welcomed another peaceful morning. Thank you.
