To explain the location using a map, if you are coming from the Nirayama Izu Nagaoka Shuzenji Line, turn at Lawson Ema Store towards Ema Interchange, and if you are coming from Route 136 on Ichigo Kaido, go straight at the traffic light of Lawson Ema Store, turn right at the Y-shaped intersection after the first traffic light, and you will see this coffee banner. This store is hard to see from the road, so it has a somewhat hidden and stately atmosphere. This store is located in Minami Ema, Izunokuni City, and is called Lounge Mock. Business hours are 9:30 to 17:00, and the store is closed on Sundays and holidays. The parking lot can accommodate 5 to 6 cars in front of the store entrance, and since it is brick-lined and flat, I think it is easy to park a motorcycle. On this day, I came at 9:30 when the store opened because I wanted to take a lot of pictures of the inside of the store. Let’s go. I’m here. It’s been a while since I saw this phone. I also like antiques quite a bit, so I’ve wanted this phone for a while. And the inside of the store looks like this. Since it used to be a lounge, the interior is stylish and has a very nice atmosphere. I popped in when it opened, so I was able to take some good photos of the inside of the store. Can you tell how good the atmosphere is? The seating is at the counter with 11 seats, and behind the counter are two tables that can seat 7-8 people. Behind the counter is a large monitor and a grand piano, giving it the feel of an adult coffee shop with the same atmosphere as a lounge. Now let’s take a look at the menu! From the top, there is coffee, tea, milk, hot cocoa, iced cocoa, orange juice, tomato juice, cola, ginger ale, and cream soda. Next, there is bread, toast, jam toast, egg sandwich, ham and cheese sandwich, mixed sandwich, and hot sandwich. There is also toast, a toast set with a mini salad and drink, a light snack of hamburger steak, shrimp pilaf, curry rice Neapolitan, meat sauce, crab cream pasta, mushroom soy sauce pasta, and yakisoba. Finally, there is beer, non-alcoholic beer, and ice cream and pancakes for dessert. The table service looks like this. There is salt and chili pepper, and in another place there is Tabasco and Parmesan cheese. Now that the order is complete, I will wait for the food to arrive. The light meat sauce is 750 yen. The menu said it was a light meal, so I ordered it lightly, but it was quite filling. It also comes with a colorful salad. I think that 750 yen for a hearty meat sauce pasda and salad is quite good value for money. I also found out later that the meat sauce at Mock’s is highly rated and delicious, and when I actually tried it, it was well made and certainly delicious. In addition to the pasta itself, there is a good amount of sauce, so there is no need to worry about the flavor running out halfway through. I also enjoyed the change in flavor by adding Parmesan cheese and Tabasco halfway through. The salad that came with it was also very delicious, with a wide variety of vegetables, good color, and a good compatibility with the dressing. Next is the hot sandwich for 600 yen. I thought this one would come with one egg and one ham and cheese, but it actually came with two, which surprised me at how big it was. It seems that this Mock is a very reasonable restaurant. And the size of each piece is like this. It’s a reasonable size that’s easy to eat. I tried it right away and the egg was quite filling and the saltiness was just right, so it was very delicious. The ham and cheese were also consistently delicious, and there were two of each, so I was very satisfied. Next was the Vienna Coffee for 450 yen. I knew that Vienna Coffee was topped with cream, but when I actually came here, I realized it was a very stylish drink. Maybe it was the bowl and the atmosphere of the restaurant that made it look even more stylish. And when I drank it, the richness of the cream and the slight sweetness were exquisite, and I thought this was also a very satisfying cup. Please note that payment is only accepted in cash. It may be a coincidence, but the customers of this Mock are mostly men who come alone, and I got the impression that many of them enjoy conversation while drinking delicious coffee. I guess that means there are a lot of regulars. If you want to feel the luxurious atmosphere of the store, enjoy a hearty meal, or enjoy a conversation, why not come to this Mock ? Now, I would like to introduce the next store, so please read to the end. Next, I would like to introduce a certain cafe in the same Minami Ema. The store I am going to now is actually very close to Mock, and it is located between Mock and Ema Interchange along Ichigo Kaido . If you go back to the Y-shaped intersection where you came in from Mock , it is difficult to get out because you have to turn right, so you have to go out to Ichigo Kaido from the back street and head to Ema Interchange. This store is on the left side of the road and is located in Minami Ema, Izunokuni City. It is called CAFE NAVY BLUE. Business hours are from 11:00 to 17:00, and the last order for lunch is at 14:00. It is closed on Thursdays and Sundays. The parking lot can accommodate 5-6 cars in front of the restaurant, and the parking space is concrete, so it’s easy to park your motorcycle. Let’s go right away. Let’s go. The interior is bright and stylish, with a high ceiling, giving it a very open feel. There are four counter seats and four counter seats by the window on the parking lot side. There are also three tables for two people and a center table that can seat a large group. Let’s take a look at the menu. First, there is the weekday-only lunch. On Mondays, it’s garlic chicken steak rice. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, it’s a nutritious rice plate. On Fridays, it’s roast beef balls. Next is the lunch value set. First, you choose A, B, or C, then you can customize one of the six main dishes in number 2 and the drink in number 3 to suit your mood that day. It seems that you can also change the drink to something a little more luxurious for an additional 250 yen. Next is the regular food menu. There are salads, appetizers, pasta, beef stew, soy meat keema curry, french fries, rice, and croissants. Next is the alcohol menu, which is quite substantial. If you live nearby, it would be a good place to come for a quick drink. Next is the regular drink menu. There are coffee, homemade drinks, tea, soft drinks, sweets, and non-alcoholic drinks. Next is hors d’oeuvres, which require reservations one week in advance, private courses, and two-hour all-you-can-drink options. Now that the order is complete, I’ll be patient and wait for the food to arrive. First, this! Kirin Lager for 700 yen. It comes with a nut snack, and I don’t know what these big nuts are, but they were very delicious. For dinner, I ordered the Lunch Value Set A Set for 2,035 yen. This is an appetizer type, and from the left, it comes with pickles, cheese tofu prosciutto, carrot rapée, garlic toast, and today’s soup. When I drink alcohol, I want some snacks, so I ordered this. It’s a pretty good set, with a nice color scheme and a little bit of everything. The soup is also delicious, so I’m enjoying a luxurious time drinking alcohol from lunchtime♪ The main dish is lemon cream pepper pasta. Like the appetizer I mentioned earlier, the colors are very nice and I can feel the great attention to detail that went into each dish. My impression after eating it is that the refreshing lemon cream with just the right amount of pepper punch is well mixed with the pasta and is very delicious. The main pasta dish contains seasonal vegetables, and in the photo taken in June, it was zucchini and cabbage, paprika and lemon. It’s nice to have new and exciting vegetables that change with the season. And for drink number 3, I ordered homemade ginger ale. It was not too sweet and refreshingly delicious. Since I was there, I also ordered everyone’s favorite french fries for 550 yen. The crispy and light texture and just the right amount of saltiness were just as delicious as you would imagine. By the way, you can pay by cash or cashless payment. They also offer takeout here, and they have small side dishes, bento boxes, and rice balls, and there is a takeout window outside the store, so if you don’t have time, it might be a good idea to stop by and buy a drink or something♪ Also, it seems that there are a lot of female customers at this store. I guess the fact that there are different menus for different days of the week and a variety of options makes it popular with women.
